How to TURN UP a Samsung Fridge's Temperature

- Your Samsung fridge temperature is set at 36 F. You want to set the temperature UP to 37 F to save some energy and money. You hit the temperature control button twice and the temperature goes DOWN to 35 F. Then you discover there is no up button! Press the temperature control button again, and it goes down to 34 F. Now you are scared. If you keep hitting that button, you fear the temperature will keep going down. How the heck do you get the temperature to go up to where you want it?

Brilliant. You have helped me to finally adjust our fridge after almost a year. Our freezer was at minus 3 and playing around it went to -4 then I tried again and -5 and I just stopped. Now thanks to you guys our freezer is a 0 where we wanted it all along. So we will let things calm down and adjust as needed now. ;)

I needed help just checking the temp after the freezer door was left a crack open all night and both freezer and refrigerator portions read in the high forties. Did not how to interpret the screen, and what each temp meant, until now. Manual did not help. Apparently when the door is open, the compressor stops?

Hi Matthew I have a question for you. I’ve been try to figure out how to turn the ice maker on/off . My bottom one stoped working about a month ago and now the top one with the ice dispenser has stoped working also but it has the light off on. I’m having this issue now. And my freezer is at 5°F. And it’s still freezing everything and creating a frostbite. Is there no way to get the temp higher after 5?

I have a Samsung and I've previously owned GE, Frigidaire, and Kenmore. The Samsung seemed like a step up in technology but it's much less intuitive. It can also be very tricky to remove parts for cleaning. I was very impressed at first but, its hard to do maintenance on it because release buttons are hard to access. Also, the icemaker is notorious for freezing up, which is a nightmare.
I can get my ice maker to open or thaw out. I need to turn down the freezer temp as it is 15°- I WISH I could change it
Hi, I have same fridge, every time power goes off, my fridge will take 2 to 3 days to cool down as before, temperature stayed 58-60 for 2 days minimum.

We have this refrigerator we did the auto defrost on it for the ice maker it went to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit and we can't seem to get it to go to Fahrenheit. We've tried hitting the and by hitting the energy saver for 3 minutes did nothing we tried hitting the alarm button it didn't do anything either how can we change it over to Fahrenheit

Had the opposite, where things where freezing in the fridge itself, so I moved it up to 5 Celsius (Canada) where it was originally 3.

mine is registering -4 degrees celsius which is about 24 degrees fahrenheit. this is driving me crazy! the display is also going from celsius to fahrenheit display. this just started today.
