This popped up on my feed - as a “local” I have now subscribed but whoa this bikes top tube shock mount is a stress inducing failure waiting to happen unless the guys in Spain have really run the fea correct - my first 29er was/is a Orbea from 2012 before long slack etc came in and I can see the “bmx” triangles but the crank on the frame angles at the junction of the shock noted to a loaded dropper - lovely colour but I’ll be passing on this one
People used to have problems with the top shock bolt breaking a few years back but it was a very light aluminum bolt. I think they're all steel now and it's the only replacement part you can get from Orbea. Other people were making stronger 3rd party bolts back when it was a problem. I haven't seen many problems where it connects to the frame itself though I would want to use a proper torque wrench to measure the tension. My frame is also the aluminum version and I haven't rode the carbon one. Before I bought the bike I was wondering if the fragile bolt was sort of intentional to insure the frame wasn't the weak point. :P
150mm travel?? The website states 160mm. And woke-Progressives, are truly insane to spend the amount Orbea demands. Especially when the frames are being built in the same factory, for a dozen other brands.

Occ-um. And it's only possible to choose colours in the high end bikes. No-one ever mentions this
