SERVICE YOUR CARBURETTOR

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - YOUR FIRST AND SECOND STAGE JETS DON'T GET THEM MIXED UP IN THE WRONG PLACE - THE FIRST STAGE JET GOES IN LINE WITH THE FIRST STAGE BUTTERFLY WHICH OPENS FIRST AND THEN THE SECOND MAIN JET. YOUR FIRST AND SECOND AIR CORRECTION JETS MARK THEM BEFORE YOU TAKE THEM OUT SO THEY CAN GO BACK INTO THE SAME PLACE.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE MAIN JETS AND AIR CORRECTION JETS ARE CORRECT ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURE SIZES.

i know a South African when i hear one. when you said "robot" you confirmed it cause we are the only country (or one of the only) that uses "robot" instead of "traffic light".

I have an 81 Tercel with a 3ac engine in it.over the last four days it's been getting steadily weaker every day and I have to turn up the idle screw about 1/3 turn each day just to keep it running. Today it is so weak it almost will not drive I have to rev it quite high just to get moving. It has fresh clean oil it's getting good spark and fuel filter is new and it's not overheating. I'm stumped. It feels extremely heavy in the pedal..

Hi. Normally 3 to 3 and a half turns out for you idling mixture. If it doesn't respond you have a worn butterfly valve or the vehicles intake manifold is sucking air. Or partly dirt in the idling jet.
