All the best to the entire Macari family. I’d be proud to own one of your fine pedals one day. You seem like the nicest folks too. You know we love you over here!🇨🇦

Got a few D*A*M Sola sound pedals, they're incredible pedals, thanks Ant.

Maaaan, I remember round about 2005 logging onto Dave's forum and getting a deep, deep education in fuzz, guitar and life in general. Incredible seeing he's hooked up with Macari's all these years later, dude was a fuzz pedal legend and it's great to see him go from the underground to the overground; thought, damn, I miss those "underground" prices...I bought a brand spanking new Meathead fuzz for like 90 quid back then, sold it for about the same to fund a trip to see Nick Cave on the "Dig, Lazarus, Dig!" tour and still regret it this day. Selling the pedal like, old saint'Nick did not disappoint. Saying that, I've still got my super limited run, custom order D*A*M FuzzRite in a rather fetching hammertone Black I doubt I'll ever part with, I'd love to add a full fat Sola MKII to the equation.

Talk about getting it right the first time! Tone has not really improved since then.

Sorry but no pedal (especially that simple) is worth anywhere near £599 regardless of history.

As much as I love tonebenders I have to agree with this lol

@@midnightstorm4290 Hard disagree with both of you in all honesty. I think the people that try to flip these on reverb for like 1200bucks should set themselves on fire and those that buy them should strongly consider giving to charity instead but imo; Dave is a really good dude, Ant seems like a good dude; all of Dave's pedals I've used in the past are seriously "something special" and blew my head flap open, these aren't "low effort, simple circuits", they're made in England and they look dope. There's plenty of cheaper alternatives (the Ramble FX being super fun, for one) so like, vote with your wallets not your youtube bad vibes bro's.

Their worth every cent. There’s nothing like them. They go for 749 pounds now. That’s around 800 American.

Some people may not have a clue as to how good these suckers are and how rare these parts have become. The level of testing they go through is quite rigorous. From a bag of military grade NOS transistors only a few make it through to a pedal. These parts are actual gems in this world full of expensive junk. Like a piece of crap Ferrari - the value only comes down and gives nothing in return. A piece of crap wheel for a piece of crap BMW cost more than these, which are hand selected and made to be the best of the best. Some idiot would make a TH-cam demo of these through a Roland Cube, and the other idiots who have no discenrnment believe them and waste other people's time.
