First of all great videos! I have a bafang motor sitting in front of me that is sounding like it has gravel in it. I have inspected the large pinon gear and the small pinon gear and see nothing wrong. The bike is functioning as it should other than the noise. I was curious if you may have any ideas? I have not tore into the other side of the motor. Thank you.
Hi, Great video mate and really useful. No idea if you will pick this up but just wondering if you have ever regressed the main gear without removing from the motor from the bike. I have wired my BBSHD in nicely and took a long time so would rather not remove the motor from the bike and so was wondering - is it possible to 'safely and effectively' try degreasing and degreasing her still on the bike? I have the in/out play and so looking to replace the thrust bearing so i'll be in there anyways.

It could be a bearing problem in the nylon gear or a motor rotor problem.
Also curious what the cost maybe on something like this? Or what do you charge for labor?
Parts are sold on AliExpress.

im getting the sound of dry bearing somewhere and the small pinion gear wont spin by hand, very stiff, what do you think the problem would be?
There are many cases where water flows into the crank needle bearing.
