A Ride By Texas Motor Speedway and Rhome, Texas on a Goldwing

- This is the first in my series of European Cities in Texas. Today I ride by Texas Motor Speedway on my way to Rhome Texas. I am riding on my 2023 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT.

Thanks for the video and riding out to Texas Motor Speedway. I'm a big fan of American Flat Track racing and they'll be running the Mission Texas Half-Mile right there at the TMS on April 27. If you haven't seen a race live I would recommend it. Ride safe and often.

Tom, that ride looked wonderful... curious about your audio on this one... quality fell short a bit... I think maybe the voice isolation might have been struggling in the wind.. cleared up later in your video. Ride safe my friend ! You are too kind Tom thank you for the shout out !!
Hi Robert. Thanks for watching! You are right, the audio is poor in this episode. I actually thought about not putting it up because of this. I think that I may not have had the microphone positioned well and it picked up a lot of road wind noise. That is why the audio is a little better later in the video when I was going slower. On a related note, this is the first video that I edited in Final Cut Pro. I attempted to enhance the audio some. I am still trying to learn the very basics.

Hi Aidan, Thanks for watching! I would be happy to meet you sometime. I am not doing the Grand Tour of Texas this year. I started it in 2000. Back then it did not start until March 1. So on March 1st, I hit up 4 sites on a 200 mile ride, including through downtown Dallas. Then next day I crashed and totaled my bike on the 2 mile commute from my office to my home. I did not get another bike until last October. Are you doing the Grand Tour this year?
I will be working most of the days 4/23-29. Do you have something planned?
@@tom81773 I am not only because I’m not there in Texas right now.. I’m finishing my stent here in Milwaukee then plan on going back home to Dallas mid april
