Link doesn't work for me, just temporarily down?
Back up now 👍@@Ben-gm9lo
I've been installing similar products in lift shafts, upgrading 40W incandescent bulkheads for the last few years but with a driver, this looks more rigid, straighter lines maybe. Looks good.
Interested to see how it yellows after time and longevity of the leds seeing it doesn't have any heatsink , any other colour options? be good if its compatible with there loadpro dimmers .. ive got the Macau above all my workbenches in the workshop.. 2 years in all good.. runs perfect from a dc-dc converter..
Hold my beer, in every constrouction have this lights 😂
Is it available in different colours? ie red, yellow green, blue etc
❤❤ Nice video ❤❤
Normal switch?
Can you use a Dimmer switch?
Good question - we’ll find out !
Neon systems are a bit of a different kettle of fish compared to LED strips. Put your cutters through the middle of a neon tube, as improbable as that may be, and current flow stops promptly when the tube pressure comes up. Put your cutters through a line (non-isolated) connected LED strip such as this appears to be and your tool can be connected to the conductors in the strip requiring RCDs or such to make the situation safe. Of course if you manage to put yourself across the HV wiring in a neon setup it's not going to be a good day.
Interesting thing talking about LV DC strips and regulators. If you take a look at the construction of this strip it actually has linear current regulators throughout the strip. Obviously since the supply is 230VAC so peak 330V-ish the current through the common bus along the strip is quite low but a 50V (DC or AC) strip would be possible with embedded regulators too.
Note that I'm not talking down this product, just talking about how it all works.
With Neon it’s the large iron electrodes flapping around in the breeze which cause the risk.
How many lumens/meter and is it dimmable?
Exciting to see a long distance LED strip from a manufacturer you could trust to seal it properly, but the price per meter from retailers appears to be extremely prohibitive.
I do like the clips, the best I've seen for LED strips so far.
Aside from the pricing, it would be nice if they could make a 0-10V dimmable version.
Thanks we the feedback - we’ll explore the options for dimming.
Got me all excited - think they would make great lighting on the outside wall shining on the ground and triggered by a sensor for reversing the cars up the drive. Then I looked at the price...@@efixx
0:30 you said you'd leave a link in the description, you didn't
I can see it 🤷
What about warm white as well?

@@efixxthats it working. Cheers.
Yes saw this went to your website doesn't even say a price per metre over 50 m how the hell do I know what I'm buying then if I don't even know how much I'm paying
Lots of 100Hz flicker presumably.
