It looks like he is trying to hold onto his covenants to be a good person. His under "garments," although not the real thing, are a symbolic reminder of the commitments/covenants we make with God. We promise to do our best to treat people right, help folks when we can, not harm anyone for gain or meanness, read our scriptures, and go to church. The real garments have markings on them that are symbolic reminders. Their length, just above the knees, and capped sleeves encourage us to dress modestly. Although we commit to wearing them everyday, we don't have to swim or do sports in them. We can wear bathing suits or the appropriate sports gear. As a matter of fact, the choice to wear them or not is strictly up to each of us. We don't consider them as magic. @@fialee8 That's a good point. I wish this show was available on Hulu instead of Law & Order SVU. The show really has a lot of downsides. I mean, there have numerous cases of murderers where the perp based their crime off of this tv show.
Uhm, yeah, like.. What was it?
Law and order original and svu
Wasn't this clip already posted here a few months ago?
No
They never have posted season 19 on this channel
I hate Anthony Anderson but he killed his role while he was part of the cast
You must hate all Black Actors🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿 BLACK ACTORS MATTER🤞🏿😘
@@WODChurch I hate him cause of his show #Blackish!!!! But I loved him in #Malibusmostwanted
Well that sure proved his point. Two black folks grab him & rip his shirt!
Like he didn’t run away

This was the team that killed the show.
The writing on this one is a bit shaky. There’s plenty of times in Law and Order episodes over the years in which a black perp doesn’t want to talk to the white officers and they don’t respond in this manner.
I mean... it *is* a kid here.
They’re actors and it’s script.
@@StevenRayGarcia yeah, a script about a police officer asking a kid questions which the actors are acting out. Honestly, if you want to call hypocrisy, or a double standard of some kind, my advice is you look at SVU. Plenty of double standards present throughout that series.
@@dfmrcv862 Wasn’t seeking your advice.
Your second reply shifted from your original retort which defended situation because he was a kid.
Then your second point was about hypocrisy and double standards. Not age
At least be consistent. You lose credibility during discussions when you aren’t.
@@StevenRayGarcia are you not calling out hypocrisy or a double standard in the show with your comment?
My point is that the suspect here is a kid so the police treat him a bit differently in response to your question as to why the officers "treat him differently".
I am so sick and tired of the media portrayal of the members of the church of jesuschrist of Latter-day Saints
Are you also tired of racial-hate, bigotry, discrimination and police hunting of people of colour?
I think the boys in this clip were being portrayed as being part of the FLDS group, not the LDS group.
This kid's from a radical splinter group that broke off in 1890.
Imagine if the suspect was black and the detective was white, and the suspect says he wants to speak with the "(black) detective who looks like me". In 2021, that would not only be an acceptable question, but stunning and brave as well.
No, it would not be stunning and brave, but it would be acceptable. Because POC's have a reason to be scared of white policeman, there's a history of violence and a very recent uptick in deaths among them.
I mean, either way he was going to let the other detective talk to him. They wanted whatever info they could get so they were choosing to comply with little fanfare
@Mary Lightly In the fucked up world of 2021, yes. Double standards for racism, is also known as "equity" (notice it's not "equality")
@Mary Lightly have you seen a lot of white males dying in the same numbers as white people from brief or non lethal encounters? Or harassed when they didn't need to be only for those cops to then be suspended when they're files and history are scrutinized?
It's so weird how people want to play dumb and act like there isn't a legit fear of bad cops running the image of cops in this country
@@juliantapia1407 It's all about the color
God is every Mormon a racist?
Plenty of non white Mormons. Look up a series titled Gangland that the Arts and Entertainment did years ago. They devoted an episode to gangs operating in salt lake city
Greetings! The boys in this clip were not “Mormons”. Rather, they belonged to a very radical splinter religious group called Fundamental Latter-day Saints. I know much less about the FLDS group, so I cannot say what percentage of them is racist. However, I am very happy to report that “Mormons” are not racist and dedicatedly teach that racism is resoundingly wrong and unacceptable. 🙂
Ah, Stacey Abrams telling lies. Nice.unsubscribe
I don't get it... what's with the kid's shirt?
