    Hello I have had one since the mid nineties. I am a Master tech and it’s as good today. Never failed. These days I tend to use power drivers. Thank you nice video.

      @@htr5372 you are most welcome. I have subscribed also 👍. I also bought my late Father the same screwdriver as a present,which was a limited addition one. That was around 1995. It came in a presentation box with a mag light. Recently as it was never getting used I sent it to my good friend in Thailand. When I compared it to mine the hardly used one is grippy and the gasket protrudes. Mine is polished and gasket level after all the use. I don’t use the storage space as I have a bit set out all the time. Back then there were so few alternative bits. It’s bright yellow so I don’t accidentally lose it in a footwell for example. Until then they were always black. Funny seeing all the colours now🤣. Good luck with your channel.

    For the bit storage, personally it doesn’t bother me that much because I don’t keep a bunch in there. I only keep a p1, p2, a flat, and a 1/4 drive adapter in mine. Everything else I keep in a bit storage case that usually is either in my pocket or on my cart.

    Does the shank come out? I thought they were interchangeable?

      The rubber grip model has the interchangeable shanks. The hard handles ( like in the video ) are not interchangeable.

      @@dawsonphillips256 Does the rubber grip interchangeable shank version have more play in it than the fixed shank version, though?

    Personally I think Snap On is a very overrated brand in general, especially considering how expensive they are.
    I know everyone will disagree with me, but I have not been impressed by their quality or performance compared to other professional tools/brands.

    • @ashantedula5696

      Definitely overrated. I only buy specialty tools if I have to

    • @the2Atreeclimber
      @the2Atreeclimber ปีที่แล้ว

      The tools are very high quality and they do tend to cost a little more than other tools in the same quality range but you have to think that you're employing Americans so if you're an American employing Americans should mean something to you and that's why a lot of people are very loyal to the brand. Or one of many reasons actually

      @@the2Atreeclimbermight want to see just how much they outsource today. With the exception of ratchets, wrenches, and possibly sockets, most other items are rebranded or outsourced to other countries like China. Not the same company they used to be.

      I think some of their tools I can agree with you that they are overrated. However this screw driver is better than most brands. And some of their tools are definitely better than other brands in terms of quality. Also their warranty exchanges are super convenient if you live near a snap on franchise. That’s why I buy their tools. The ergonomics and some of their tools are better than most other brands that I have tried. So I don’t mind paying the money. Plus USA made and they are local businesses rather than buying from Home Depot or other places.

      It depends on what it is tbh. I don’t have many snap on tools but the ones that I are ones that I haven’t managed to find a suitable alternative for. This screwdriver is one of them because it seems like every other ratcheting driver I’ve used has a ton of backdrag.
