Bless this woman for raising these squirrel babies! It must have been so bittersweet to let them go, but comforting to know they would be living their best lives in the wild. 🙏🏽❤🐿
🐿️ Indeed, it's truly a blessing to witness the dedication and care of this woman in raising the squirrel babies. Thank you for acknowledging her compassion and the positive impact she has made. 🌿🙏🏽❤️🐿️
Not that many people could or would have done this, especially having to feed them every 3 hours this woman has a big heart for little innocent helpless animals ❤️🤗

Love this story. No heartbreak. just a wonderful, productive passage for all involved. Rachel's got great instincts. Happy for her she had this experience.
🐿️ Thank you for your sweet comment. It can indeed be bittersweet to see your babies grow up and leave the nest. The selfless act of caring for them and ensuring their well-being is truly commendable. Your love and dedication are appreciated. Thank you for your kind words! ❤️🌿🐾

🐿️ That's amazing! Taking care of a baby squirrel every two hours around the clock is a significant commitment, but it's heartwarming to hear that the squirrel turned out fine and became your indoor/outdoor pal. Your dedication and love have made a positive impact on that little squirrel's life. Thank you for sharing your special bond with us! ❤️🌿🐾
🐿️ Fostering orphaned baby squirrels must have been an incredible experience! It's wonderful to have the opportunity to care for and nurture these young animals. The bond formed during the fostering process can be truly special. Thank you for opening your heart and providing a loving environment for these little squirrels. 🌿❤️🐾
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel it was a precious time, indeed. I felt responsible for them seeing as my cat killed their Mama. I had to get special permission from lands and forests in my province (canada) to foster them and had to promise to release them as soon as they were 3 months old. You are right about the bond we formed! The day of their release, L&F suggested letting them free at the childrens play park about 2 miles from my house. (Lots of pine trees and a lake) i sat down at a picnic table and opened their cage, they ran up,and took their usual perches on my shoulders and stayed for an hour or so looking around. We gathered quite a crowd ! I spent the time talking about fostering and what squirrels need . When they were ready, they climed down and ran off into the trees. Sad to see them go, happy they were free.
I raised a baby squirrel that I found at about 4 weeks old. His eyes were still closed and then opened the next day. I ordered some special squirrel formula and started feeding him every four hours. That was hard at first, but he was so affectionate and enjoyed it so much, i started to look forward to those feedings. I got a wheel, too, because squirrels have a lot of energy! And he used to jump on me every time I came close to him. Now he's grown and lives in the trees out in our yard. But we keep his cage open on the porch and he comes back now and then for pecan halves. Never expected to love this little guy the way I do. It has been a unique experience.
Beautiful story. I’ve been there too. It really is amazing to discover the bond that brings us closer to these unique animals. It’s a love like no other. 🌿🌝🦋
Nice video. People expressed concern that maybe Mrs Squirrel returned to the nest and was sad to find it empty. I hope that wasn’t the case. But the squirrels received devoted care and made it to adulthood. It wasn’t easy …
FYI, I squirrels are active at dusk and dawn so it's best not to take thier babies. Mom will be back. I spoke to vets and I had to wait for 24 hours playing distressed calls on my phone at those times to see if mom came back. Only after then I took them in and kept them warm. ( I did put them in a box with a hot water bottle though). I was told by the vet NOT to feed them or they won't cry out for mom, ( stay a few feet away) and to not feed them until they see a vet because they could be injured and feeding them may result in further injuries e.g. you may accidentally damage thier lungs and then may have injuries and internal bleeding. If you feed them, it's harder for the vets to help them out.
🐿️ Thank you for sharing your experience and advice regarding squirrel babies. It's important to consider the best course of action when encountering wildlife in need. 🌿🐾❤️
It sounds like she didn't even wait for the mother squirrel to show up. I feel bad for the mother squirrel who was probably frantically worrying where her babies had gone.
🐿️ It's important to consider the well-being of the mother squirrel and her babies before intervening. Observing from a distance and allowing the mother squirrel to return to her young is often the best approach. 🌿🐾
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel How did you know they were in distress and that their mother was not returning? You didn't explain in your video why you took them from their nest.
Mother goes to get some food for herself so she can produce milk comes back and her babies are gone.😒 If you're not 100% sure they are abandon dnt take them.
🐿️ You bring up an important point about assessing the situation before taking action. It's crucial to exercise caution and make sure the babies are truly abandoned before intervening. In some cases, the mother may leave temporarily to gather food or take care of her own needs. It's best to observe from a distance and seek professional advice if in doubt. Thank you for highlighting the importance of being certain before taking action. 🌿🐾
What an amazing lady. Bravo to you for saving them!
