真的很佩服如懿傳的導演，選角選得太無敵了，每一位大到主角小到不起眼的丫鬟公公沒有一個演技是差的，眼色、舉止、台詞無一不是表現到極致！真的是佳劇，比起其他爛戲真的是用心至極的好戲

@@asurmenhandofasuryan4610 She only have good intentions for her own children. For other children, not necessarily. The Dowager was going to hold Shu Fei's child hostage so Shu Fei will obey her. The Dowager laments on how she regrets allowed her eldest daughter to be betrothed far away and gets back at the official who suggested that by killing his daughter. The Dowager, despite knowing that Yonghuang was not being taken care of well and is a target of other concubines, does nothing to help his situation.
@@blenderpain8249 She did not actually know how badly Yonghuang was being treated. Important thing to note here is she had no intention to actually actively harm any of the kids and would have protected them if she knew they were actively being harmed. Keep in mind she was also given Yongji to raise and she was the one to find out about the poisonous mushrooms.
She would not have harmed Shu's child either. Shu had an obligation to the Empress Dowager since she was only there to help influence the Emperor. More or less didnt keep her end of the deal type.
In the prequel, Empresses in the Palace, Ruyi’s aunt, the Empress in that show, killed off practically most of the children in the harem including one of the Empress Dowager's own, so she’d never tolerate children being harmed.

These two consorts are among my favorite characters. They're both not afraid to speak their minds and truly respect Ruyi who is a model empress.
She's definitely prophetic. He didn't realize how much she meant to him until she was gone, pretty much broke him. Which is what he deserves. The guilt ate him up for decades until his dying breath. Even his last thoughts were of her.
It’s cute though. Zhen huan really does care about hongli even though he’s not her real kid. She really sees him as her son.

Poor Ruyi. I just finished this series and it broke my heart how badly the emperor treated her. I liked him in the beginning and by the middle of the series, I was sick of him and his bratty attitude. For an emperor, he sure was an egotistical, selfish brat.
Ruyi still loves him, but she is not attached to him anymore!
From Yanxi story, I learnt why he became heartless. It was because Yongzheng emperor killed his wet nurse daughter, for playing with him.
Yongzheng emperor was another example of ruthless and heartless emperor. But, for the good of a country and nation, it is necessary.

The part where ying fei look at rong bin when she ssid she had someone send a messsge back to the imperial palace. She kind of underestimated rong bin loyalty to empress. Hence the look of shock?

@@tatybae1438 yea. Same as other moments throughout the entire drama. So of the expressions is uncalled for. Like was it intention? I love the part where jinzhong was startled when he told ying fei in the episode right after chun gui fei was kneeling in the rain and coughed out blood. I felt that part was so genuine. The feeling of being startled when the emperor was saying 'FANG SI!' at ying fei. I hope you noticed that too.
The most probable explanation is, Rong Bin's arrival was arguably the beginning of Ruyi's demise as an empress. Sure, we can say that she's doomed the moment she became the empress or even when she met Hongli, but with Rong Bin's arrival, whether she even wanted to be there in the first place or not, did cause a lot of tension in the harem. Ying Fei has stayed long enough in the palace to be very loyal to Ruyi, and of course she will turn away from Rong Bin because of said tension. She definitely knows that atleast Rong Bin supports the empress superficially, but did not expect that she would use her own resources to help the empress when she could have just enjoyed the emperor's favour silently. As for why Ying Fei would think that way when Rong Bin blatantly rejected the emperor several times, she was raised by the Barin tribe, which also have the harem system. She was familiar with how women in the harem usually act, threats to their favour are often returned twicefold and such, that she wouldn't eactually expect Rong Bin to be an exception.

So the director subtly wants us to assume that there was rife between the 2 ever since Rong Bin came into the picture and that the animosity continued throughout the entire Mulan trip of which she only came to know that Rong Bin is somewhat decent and was an exception after this incident; the climax/tipping point was when Lu Yun pleads for his son which triggered Ying to be more cautious of Rong
The Emperor’s Narcissistic Personality really shows in these episodes. He felt more sympathy for the prostitutes becoming nuns, than he did for ruyis broken heart.

I'd like to say I'm an emphatic person. I watched a clip of the very last episode and I felt slightly bad for the emperor when I saw him crying and the hair thing.
But after watching the drama.... Tsk tsk. Seeing him makes me so angry. Poor Ruyi... She handled him way better than anyone else could've ever done.
@@IceCream-ey2kg seeing him as a very old man who’s had to live out his years with the guilt of everything, I’m very empathetic as well and I also felt bad. But he was responsible for so many bad things that happened within his family, he killed people because of his emotions and jealousy.
In the end, 甄嬛's 話 came true even if this version of 乾隆 couldn't see it. You'll only learn to cherish the person once they truly leave you. By then it's all too late for regrets.

Para mí gusto, faltó que el emperador reconociera por qué se enfrentó Ruyi a él y por qué se cortó el pelo, tampoco se aclaró la alucinación del hijo y triunfó la asesina porque su meta era hacer de su hijo el heredero al trono
Por lo menos no disfruto porque ya estaba fallecida.
Todo lo que mencionaste fueron hechos reales y no los cambiaron en el drama lo que me parece bien porque la vida de los personajes fue trágica el emperador nunca explicó porque ella se enojo tanto para cortarse el pelo su hijo fue descuidado por el emperador y lo hizo a un lado después de la muerte de la madre y el hijo de Ling que se volvió emperador ascendió solo en nombre porque Honli abdico y siguió controlando el país y manteniendo la corrupción para cuando murió y el hijo podía reinar el país estaba en bancarrota lleno de corrupción y revueltas del pueblo.

Typical narcissistic and egocentric behavior from the emperor; It's always somebody else's fault, never his. She did this, she did that, she behaved like this, she acted like that, he made me do it, he lured me. Even when the actions of Ruyi are as a result of his excesses he still won't see his wrongs and will only see and emphasize on hers. He expects her to behave like a ''mother of the nation'' in the sense that she should be a quiet tool accepting anything from him without ever demanding respect in return. Narcissists will always blame and criticize your reactions and never see how their own actions triggered them. Worst kind of people on earth to deal with.
