Rails of Sheffield & Dapol, Stroudley A1, LBSCR 4S-010-009, No.643

This review is for Rails of Sheffield / Dapol - Terrier
4S-010-009, Stroudley Terrier A1 Class LBSC (Ex Gipsyhill) 0-6-0T, No.643.
Decorated in LBSCR Burnt umber, gold/black/gold.
Model has a die-cast running plate, metal wheels, and a metal chassis.
Running plate on my model is drooping down to the left slightly by 0.5mm and is quite noticeable.
The model has been made using the 7mm O gauge terrier as a guide, some areas are over scale, and detail lacking in places due to the scaling.
Tooling issues,are mainly around the cab, with seperate insert for the rear of the cab, the finish is different to the other areas of the model.
Printing is reasonably good, detail ok.
Running after 1 hour running in both directions, is noisey and reasonably smooth.
Terrier is also approx 1mm shorter than the Hornby terrier, which after checking is correct.
ROS and Dapols is also 10-11 grams lighter than Hornby's
This model is Ok but with all the bravardo and promise, its been a let down, and under delivering in quite a few areas.
This is not a pedigree or a High quality product... in my view it needs a lot of retooling.
