Your patience & your voice... Enchanting ! And, of course, the outcomes that you manage to extract through your gentle, coaxing process. Magicianess. Thank you, thank you ! 🎉🎉🎉
love this....i am just beginning again in a new place in my life. Older and gentler place, kinder. I love your videos and your art. Thank you so very much!! I am beginning my first sketchbook!!
Well done, Beth! Both for starting the sketchbook and for managing to bring yourself to that gentler and kinder place! I’m super proud of you! ❤️👏🏻 Don’t look back! Fiona x
Thank you! This video didn’t get much attention unlike many sketchbook tours I binge-watch on YT. But another one is coming soon ❤️ Also, every single person that leaves a comment like yours, warms my heart and makes my day 🌈
Your beautiful work is so inspiring, and makes me want to drop everything and practice in my own sketchbook - and try not to compare your wonderful paintings to my tentative efforts! Thank you so much for sharing, I want to watch this video over and over. I am very grateful to have your help in my artistic journey. Thank you so very much!
@@drawingsinadrawer It's rather consoling that an accomplished artist like yourself still has self doubt. That must be an inescapable part of the human condition.
Hi Fiona! I love your videos and your paintings! I’ve already learned a lot from you and appreciate it so much. You explain things very well and make it easy to follow your instructions. May I please ask what color mix you suggest for painting dark skinned people? Thank you for taking the time to share your talent and knowledge in the amazing world of watercolor! 🎨💕
I would start off with an under painting ( like an initial very diluted layer that you use to block in shadows ) of blue or purple.. let dry and add layers of burnt umber and sepia letting dry between layers
