I find the strategy for Tokyo more challenging than London. Focusing on cities and districts doesn't seem to score me many points. I would love some tips on how to play Tokyo better.
The strategy is a little bit different. The score from your 4 different lines is still important, but not something you need to completely focus on (like in London). From my plays so far it seems like it is all about connecting to the Green line as much as possible. It's just always always always good. The 1st time you connect to a station on the Green line it is +3 points (removing the -3 penalty). The 2nd time you connect to that station you form an interchange of 3 stations, so it is +5 points. Then +10 points for a 4-station interchange, then +15 points for a 5-station interchange. If you can form many interchanges around stations on the Green line you will score a lot. The joker power is very useful for helping you to achieve this.
