Our last names are the same and we have the same interests in cheap 1/10 scale off-roaders, I added weight to front and rear diffs but I also filled the axles with marine grease to eliminate rust, water just generally keep things lubed. I changed the frame to move the shockes more upright rather then the stock frame which I felt was needed to compete with more expensive truggys on trail trips. Lipo battery is next for sure. Thanks for sharing
weight helps a lot. . we removed the foam altogether, sealed the vents in the rim body, put a Dixie cups worth of very fine steel beadblasting shot in each wheel/tire , sealed it up.. easily 4 to 6 oz each corner. .maybe more because the shots so fine it's a fair bit of weight in a small volume , the shot falls to the lowest point constantly. anyways it was a great help
Nice set up bro I have the same truck I run 2s as well does great I put a Ridgecrest body on it people think Im running a Axial then I show them it's a Everest 10 I love it ... I did quite a few upgrades to mine it Crawls great ... keep up the good work
Nice.It you ever want to do a hard body,rc4wd models will bolt rite on to the holes next to the body posts and line up good. At least the blazer for the trail finder 2 will. just finished putting one on mine last nite.i did have to put some spacers in the shocks tho to stiffen it up a bit do to the different weight of the new body but it crawls good still, not quite as it was but still way better then my buddy at works scx10 with about 1000 bucks in it.lol love this thing!
Hello, I bet the Redcat Everest 10 is fast with the 35T motor how fast in MPH with the 35T motor...?? Plus I like the dark forest green paint job... If you have a video painting the body shell let me know..?!?! Thanks
Great vid! Your E10 sure is capable! Not sure, did you already say in a previous video how you went about adding the weights to the wheels? What method? I watched this vid at work w/o sound so if you said anything I am sorry I missed it. I can't afford trucks like the Axials or Vaterra so Redcat gets the nod. But I definitely will upgrade with tires & wheel weight. Thx again for a great vid! Regards, Jimmy
+JFlyer1973 Yeah great crawler! I put the wheel weights around the wheels inside tires. They r the little stick ons, 1/4 oz. then I wrap electrical tape around them to hold them in place......I can really tell the difference with the wheel weights and the battery moved forward....
cool setup man. couple questions. did you have to get a diff ESC for the lipo n where did you get the 35t motor. I just got my Everest 10 n looking for the right mods for it. ive already cut the tires to widen the tread pattern n removed the foam and added weight to the tires. any tricks n tips are greatly appreciated
did you see a big difference in speed with the new motor? I just bought an Everest to hang out with my grandson that has an axial Bomber and his is a lot faster
Brian Dougherty so you can run a 2s LiPo on the stock ESC? Just ordered a Redcat as my first RC/crawler since childhood lol and already got a list of upgrades, just not sure if I need to upgrade the electronic or just plug the LiPo and go
Brian PMRC here to help you and 1000s others i subbed liked shared and ill be back to do it again so if u like the sound of that get over to my channel and start subbing my list tell them i sent you so they no im out here working hared for them and hopfully you good luck and happy subbing
You need to just sit there in a big armchair with a beer fridge running off a gas generator while it charges dozens of lipo’s for like a pile of RC toys almost as excessive as my wasted drunk ass and all these sneering runners come by daily and they know! Oh they know!
Good lord. I haven't seen that much bongo action since the opening ceremony at the rio olympics!

Nice spot for crawling!
Nice job on the video really liked it keep up the good work😀😀😀
@Brian Dougherty. Man, your rig could eat SCX-10s alive all day long! Nice work;-)
That GREEN is mean💯💯💯🔥
Thought about uploading more of your woodpecker stuff, orrr…?
cant decide if the music or the bongos are more entertaining lol
Drumming is rad
Nice Crawl and video.
you live in canada or washinton state, looks like Oregon. .. but you're so lucky to have a beautiful place like that park
actually links to every part you used would be great lol.
Truck's dialed in🤘🏻
hello, how have the stock diff lock outs holding up to the 35 turn motor speed?
Does Stn. Mountain mind crawling there? I was there this weekend and noticed a sign that says "No this" and "No that" but not, "No RCs"...

Great video! What's the name of the song? Also what C is the lipo?
which 35T motor did you use? i dunno what brand to buy. i see negatives and positives on every single brand
Hello,
BTW what do you have mounted on the box??
Thanks
Hey, man, pretty sure I didn't see it specified anywhere but did you change the gearing at all when you put in the new motor?
Wow! This is way faster then stock what brand motor? did you change the ESC?
Nice Video!
Nice vid! CG looks very high?
how did you get it to stop torque twist ? was it the battery mod ? Thanks
Good question.
did thr motor ever mess up any thing or brake some thing
I have one question why do all rock crawlers have a a brushed motor is it better than brushless for rock crawling?
They are waterproof and there is no need for how fast a brushless is
Have you tried this motor with the battery it came with? If so, how fast was it compared to stock/lipo?
Thanks in advance!
Lipo gives you maybe 20% more power but the main thing is the extra run time.
I need these upgrades! In stock form it's just too slow!
did you see a big difference in speed with the new motor? I just bought an Everest to hang out with my grandson that has an axial Bomber and his is a lot faster
Bassquest if you want a lot of speed try and go with a 12 turn. This rig I better for crawling. I would suggest either 35 or a 27 turn
Nice video can the stock esc handle the lipo battery?
yes, it has a 2 pin jumper that you can move back and forth for nmhi and lipo
Do you know what the c rating is for it?
did the motor ever mess anu this up
Music 🎶 is a distraction. But Great video and rig
How u minimize the torque twist? It seem almost gone
Is it because 35t motor?
Yes 35 T, it still has a lot of torque twist. you can see it when I am running all out .
awsome music
did you use stock ESC
That my first crawler still run the transmission and drive lines in my 3D printed crawler I subscribe and 🔔 hit me up man
And can you switch from a lipo to the stock battery on the fly
Alex Nily depends on what esc you have most have little pin things you need to switch back and forth between for lipo or nimh
Yes, sure can!
Brian Dougherty so you can run a 2s LiPo on the stock ESC? Just ordered a Redcat as my first RC/crawler since childhood lol and already got a list of upgrades, just not sure if I need to upgrade the electronic or just plug the LiPo and go
Who makes the lipo ?
can you still do mud and water
plz reply i need your knowledge
Brian Harper yes has no effect on that. Does wonderful in both
Sorry I should have asked before whats the average batt. Run time
are you running a 2s on stock ESC?
+Robert Nestle yes with a low voltage alarm on the battery
I don't know why my body start shaking while watching the video.🤔
i like...i like alot..
Stone mtn ga.?
yes
yes, up the main climbing trail

what in the hell are you talking about...
Brian Dougherty you know im right lol what a fun spot
it's a crawler vehicle bruh you don't need alot of speed
