I was able to get my hands on the first Battle Pass Plane. The ITP (M-1). There was a couple of these aircraft built as prototypes as armament heavy fighters. Currently in-game it is at a 3.3 Battle Rating, flies very comparable to a La-5, and has a punishing armament of 2 20mm Shvaks in the nose and a 37mm cannon through the prop.

So unlike the T55E1... This Battle Pass vehicle is not a hot mess. The aircraft is very potent, the flight model feels done well enough, and is fun to play. If you are thinking about picking this up. I would recommend it.
The t55e1 is not bad i love it its an extremely good flanker and i get minimum 2 kills each match with it it is extremely fun
i’m more in for the centurion mk5 on the bp, but i’ll give this plane a try when i get it.

Bo always sounds so much more focused and calm and just generally together when he’s in the air. Put him in a ground vehicle and it seems like about at least three quarters of his time is spent in varying degrees panic. Both are entertaining, but in wonderfully different ways. ^.^
I can see why, in planes the only place for the enemy to use camouflage is when they're below you and me, an American player, is always outclimbed so I can see everyone above me and just go away till they give up their altitude. In ground the menu map color and the actual map you spawn is is different and enemies abuse the shit out of camo and shrubs and hide.
Air RB is where most of time I is/was and I don't have to stare at every angle and pixel for something to jump out and shoot me lol. I also had the pleasure of learning from RamJB, Bismarck, and other great Air combat players on tactics, strategy, and they really helped develop my skillsets when I was a young WT player.

I actually read some book about WWII and a pilot mentioned that he had a near miss with the parachuting German, but a second later he nearly lost control of his plane. He looked at the wing and realised that the parachute got caught in it after all and he has a very surprised German hanging from his plane...

I remember a story about the Luftwaffe in Africa having a semi-hardass commander that basically told all his pilots that if he saw anyone shooting downed pilots or parachutes, he'd shoot his own men himself.
So what did the Luftwaffe do? They sure as Hell did not shoot parachutes or downed pilots.

There are a few planes where it is very weird lol. The F3H looks like it is missing it’s entire tail, and the Il-2 also looks quite weird

Was a little surprised when I saw the cooler flaps open over the top of the wing instead of below. An unusual layout to be sure. Although its coolant system buried throughout the wing seems almost He-100 with how fragile it is.
9:38 Although you mention the Chaika warding away evil spirits, but it does to be honest. I do consider it more dangerous than some of the more modern Russian props. Especially when mixed among the fast ones.

Bo, your aim is so precise. Takes you like 1 or 2 shots to dial it in and then boom, targets gone.
Helps if your pilot/crew are maxed out too
3 months later and 2.3-4.3 is absolutely infested with this thing. There were only two of these aircraft built and often times it makes up more than 50% of a team.
Man yaks are pretty volatile, hit a tree at 3 mph and it's like a MOAB strike.

Looks good, maybe a little too good for 3.3. From my own experience with it in the test flight that comes with the BP, it was pretty easy to do well in and surprisingly durable for a single-engine fighter. Given the ridiculous repair cost this thing's launching with, I suspect the devs knew this would be slightly OP at the BR they were putting it. I'd rather have it be 3.7 and 8k to repair than 3.3 and 16k, is all I'm saying.

Used the test drive in ground battle. It's a very good cas plane with the 50 ROUNDS OF 37. in comparison the yak9t gets 30 rounds .7 brs higher. And it gets rockets and bombs. Flies like a dream, wjats not to love

the only fun I find in these videos is really the conversation because this much Soviet/Russian BIAS is really disgusting
your Yak-9 is missing half your left wing? it's okay, you can still fly like you have all your wing
your fighter is missing the rudder and "spine" of the fuselage? that's not enough to compromise it's structural integrity
you don't have oil or water in your glorious Soviet machine? it's okay, it uses Vodka as fuel and does not overheat at full throttle
this and many other examples, like the low BR Mig's having tails made out of wood that don't break when on fire, or how fires always g out on Soviet machines that don't have self-sealing fuel tanks, unlike most US fighters that do have but always burn to the end

Every time i get in my J21A-1 i get deleted by either a ITP or a Zero
i love the new update but now even if you hit something doing 5 kph you explode like a nuke
Eh...This plane looks decent, but the engine looks very weak (Gaijin really shoul've given it the AM-39) and the fact that the engine overheat and dies the second a cooling system is hit really limits its potential.
Add the 12k repair cost to that and you get a plane that you REALLY don't want to get damaged
I got 55 kills with the ITP over 26 matches yesterday. The engine cooling system is really is /only/ flaw, along side poor climb rate. Everything else is fantastic. It's an incredibly easy plane to do well with, getting 3 or 4 or 5 kills in a match frequently.

This plane feels like cheating. I just unlocked the test drive and in arcade I’m getting a consistent 10 kills per match in it with no losses, and I’m not even that good. Just get some altitude and carefully line up your shots and everything just explodes.

If you run into a parachute, a mist of blood splatters everywhere. Your propeller is also damaged. When you land, you cannot get repaired. Your game is over. You get nothing. You're crew locked for eternity for war crimes. Gotta pay 100,000 GE to get your crew back.

I swear. Every time Bo n' Co. do gameplay vids of planes, they do extremely well in terms of killing other planes. Whenever I go, I either die early on because pilot snipes from 1.2km away are ok, and if I do survive my first encounter, I get surprised by a 109 or 190 that for some magical reason I cant hear.
When I’m diving on someone that looks afk, I will oftentimes turn off my engine so they don’t hear me coming. Often, the first indication they get that I am there is 20mms slamming into their engine ;-;
@@cheesuschrist5017 I think part of the problem is that I just completely suck balls in Air RB/AB. I really only use air in ground rb, which is really the only thing I play. I dont suck quite as bad there, but I still get bs pilot snipes thanks to epic 8mm plate that is supposed to protect my Stuka pilot :/ - Anything pens 8mm with ease. First P-47 is 4.7 yes? My stuka lineup for ground rb is 3.7, so if I get up-tiered, and said P-47 pilot is using ground belts which just so happen to have around 40 ish mm of pen, I am a bloody pinata.

It's not particularly difficult. You just got to make slow, gradual maneuvers. I've flown a plane back to base with the vertical stabilizer and elevators blown off multiple times.

Sturmling decided he didn't want to play War Thunder that much anymore. Nothing happened, he just made a decision about how he wants to use his own time after working in different ways then spending hours grinding a game that was not giving him anything back for the time he was spending on it.
He has having a lot more fun with his friends in World of Warcraft Classic Raids with his friends. He still has WT installed and he once and a while joins on streams or WT Videos here and there... you will see him in a non wt video every week or so as well on the channel.
I bet the ITP will be the F2G of this battlepass

I wonder if the ground crew are happier when the TBLF guys don't bring the planes back so they have less repairs to deal with. I know the squirrels are certainly happier with all the extra building materials they get.
I had to delete my account today, which sucks, because I really enjoy this game. I ended up death locked because of the dumb throttling issues Gaijin puts on their boosters unless you have a premium account. It's ridiculous. I had a wager activated that I can't remove until it is complete. After activating it, my planes won't fly like they are supposed to, enemies phase in behind and beside me when playing tanks, and my guns fire nothing but apologies. This is bad business practice. It has nothing to do with "get gud bruh" horse crap that I will likely get from the pc master race over here. Gaijin is trying to force people (this includes your kids under the age of 13, people) to spend money they don't want to spend on entertainment. I will not play this again until this crap is fixed. It really is sad. I had plans for this game too.
