In my Tarantula shop, people are asking me how to raise a Tarantula. But first we must know how to take care of the babies. This video will give you the general idea on how to take care of your Tarantula sling.

That container for the P. Metallica's is too small, same with your other tarantulas. They don't have to be huge but bigger than what they're in now. The sling enclosures are too dry also. They are prone to drying out/dehydrating at that stage.

Hey I love this video, I'm a new tarantula owner. I just got a Grammostola Pulchirpes sling, about .5-.75 inches. How often should I feed and water it? I'll probably be feeding it small meal worms, and I watered it. Thanks!

Never feed it alive mealworms as it could bite the sling and injure it. Chop the mealworm in half and water it at least once a week. I'd water it every 3 days. Remember to wait 5-7 days after it molts before feeding it because it's body after the molt is very vulnerable. When it grows about ~2 inches put a small water bottle cap and fill it up with water.

I recommend isopods super helpful in taking care of the enclosure. I would add these to a juvenile enclosure

@@daryl7745 They can get rid of mold and fungi if it starts to form. They can also get rid of some mites which can cause tarantulas to die. They also clean up the tarantula poop and turn it to dirt. IF you have a bioactive enclosure they will help keep your plants alive. Though some bigger isopods might get eaten by the tarantula.

Sometimes you may need to kill it and take off the legs or abdomen and give it to them in section, I have never gave one a frozen cricket but that mostly will work unless they are not hungry

They start eating as soon as they are out of the egg sac. The mother usually kills the prey and lets all of the slings eat because adult tarantulas can go for about a year without food while slings can go for about 2 weeks.
