Just got an avic purpurea sling a couple days ago and it's just been hanging out on the bark. When should I expect it to eat for the first time? I just borrowed some superworms from a friend to chop up for it. Is that good enough for it to eat or should I look for another feeder?

Ive watched every sling care guide on yt. This is the best by far. No bullshit, no droning on and on. Straight to it and a pov perspective for how it should be done. Thank you. I am picking up my first 3 slings in a few hours and I'm nervous... Togo starburst, featherleg, and gabon dwarf blue baboon..

Most of what you said was correct and really good advice! However there were some things I noticed! 1) you didn’t mention this, but you did display it! You should always approach your hedgehog from the front so that he/she can see your hands and it doesn’t surprise him/her when you pick it up. 2) she’s in a tiny container and doesn’t have much in there to interact with. I’m going to assume this isn’t her permanent house, but when setting up a hedgehog pen they should have plenty of space and toys to play with. Hedgehogs play with some cat toys and they should have a running wheel to help burn off energy! They should also have plenty of things to hide in/under. Just some tips that weren’t mentioned in the video for anyone who’s considering getting a pet hedgehog! ^^

That container for the P. Metallica's is too small, same with your other tarantulas. They don't have to be huge but bigger than what they're in now. The sling enclosures are too dry also. They are prone to drying out/dehydrating at that stage.
