Two of the greatest songs ever. I think Run of the Mill is the best song on "All things Must Pass."

You guys are awesome. So are these songs. So is this album. So was George. Run Of The Mill is a great song. Isn't It A Pity is a classic. It's epic. It wins.

Watching this video and hearing George Harrison songs was like meditation for me! Thank you Trey & Shawn for this amazing reaction video and thank you Arnie for the awesome suggestion! As for my favourite of these songs, I love them both near the same but I’m going to go with Run Of The Mill because I have fonder memories of that song and it’s a song I go back to a bit more! Awesome video as always and please react to more solo Beatles work!!!😃👍☮️❤️

Eek, this one is tough! Isn't It a Pity probably takes it for me, but Run of the Mill is one of my favourites on the album, and probably its most underrated song.

Also, I never heard Run of the Mill as angry so much as very, very sad.

Thanks for the great reaction! I like the "vs" song battle format. Thanks for all the background information. As for me, it's tough but I think I'll go with "Run of the Mill."

Shawn and Trey, I agree, best Beatles solo album. Wow, Shawn you researched 400 pages worth of information on rgis album. That's a ;ot of work. Run Of The Mill is a powerful piece of music and strong lyrics that has a message. The song gets right to the point. Isn't It A Pity is a powerful slow rocker that moves steady and yes, the soundscape is great. I agree about the instrumentation and orchesytal arrangement. Harrison's guitar work is fantastic, the fade out gives it that epic appeal. You guys split the vote. Both songs are great. I could go with either song, but I think I'll choose Run Of The Mill as the winner. Great song battle Artie. btw, iT 'is interesting that Isn't It A Pity was written by Harrison in 1966 for Revolver.

"Run of the Mill" is a much more interesting song IMHO. Actually, though, "What is Life" is my favorite on this album.

Just found your channel. Run of the Mill my absolute favorite and frequently the Harrison family according to Olivia. Isn't it a pity- just a classic and true George.

Isn't It a Pity not on Revolver probably... Agree. But I do like Isn't It a Pity in the battle. My favorite on LP s "Beware of Darkness" Great LP. Yes.

Love them both but “Isn’t It A Pity” is my favorite. Nina Simone did an interesting version of that song btw.

I think I adore "Run Of The Mill" it's such an underrated masterpiece in a way but it's one of my favourites everything about is great the vocals by George, the instruments, the lyrics and the meaning behind it (love Paul don't get me wrong everybody do love them both not including toxic people ofcourse), but what can I say about "Isn't It A Pity" it's a classic it's universal has a great message to share love and peace one of the Beatles solo greatest compositions if not the best so I'll have to go with IIAP!! But certainly I adore both songs such a great album by George and for how great this album is fans were disappointed by "Living In The Material World" I mean I'm not a religious person I'm an agnostic but it's a great album too that's how great album ATMP really is.
Loved your reaction as always and had to disagree with Shawn as always too xD!

Run Of The Mill is my favourite. I find the arrangement more exciting. There isn't much variety to Isn't It A Pity.

  • @philipcone357

I liked All Things Must Pass but prefer Plastic Ono, Ram, … Isn’t a Pity would not have fit on Revolver and I have always heard the long version is a comment on Hey Jude. Both in the ending and in the length of the song. Prefer Run of the Mill. Isn’t a Pity provides no answers and the arrangement is great but not sure the song warrants the arrangement!

Kia ora hello my friends hay my favourite Beatles are George and Ringo AWESOME i don't really have much to say about Paul apart from when he was asked how it feels to have written the greatest Song ( not sure which) and he replied i don't know you'll have to ask NEIL FINN he was half right BUT I THINK IF HE EVER HEARD. Don
Mcglashan he might have second thoughts .
Don's Band BLAM BLAM BLAM from the early eighties had a Song that went hand in hand with the 1981 ANTI SOUTH AFRICAN SRINGBOK RUGBY TOUR of Aotearoa new zealand it ripped our country to bits riots at just about every game family members hating each other a light plane dived low over the Hamilton game dropping flower bombs onto the pitch my mum and stepfather (the asshole) got their front teeth smashed by Pro tour rugby THUGS walking home from a protest. Anyway that was BLAM BLAM BLAM ...song THERE IS NO DEPRESSION IN NEW ZEALAND . and another great one from Don and probably my favourite is BLAM BLAM BLAM Song Don't fight it Marsha (it's bigger than the both of us) it's a kiwi master piece
