It’s a crime to be educated in India, just look at Arvind Kejriwal and Modi. We Indians hate education hence we will remain a developing nation only for another atleast 50 years.
When he was narrating the incident of Amitabh showing his anger on Jaya, I immediately got reminded of my father who did the same thing to my mother. I hate people who use their spouse or house help as the punching bag to vent their anger because they don't have balls to vent on the person on whom they really intend to. They are nothing but cowards.

Huge respect to this profession yet some people live a life of puppets, of course they have no idea of their true potential. I think it also depends on individuals. usually southindians are bought up in a more humble and traditional down to earth way. Where in north india its different but It doesn't mean all north Indians are arrogant. Here modi is also very polite who is north indian. The problem is that Karan doesn't understand people. Especially shy people. He expects people to speak a certain way (like himself) and when they are different, he gets uncomfortable and starts mocking them. The fundamental problem with extroverts is that they don't understand people-they don't understand around 50% of the human population- introverts. There are interviews where ARR opens up quite a bit (like with Simi Grewal or Vivek's interview for Tamil speakers) because the interviewer is genuine.

The probable reason AR Rahman was such a difficult interview subject is because it takes a different style than the aggressive one of Mr. Thapar to draw out a sensitive artist such as Mr. Rehman into an exploratory conversation.

I haven't seen any interview of A.R Rahman where he has ever said any sensible thing. He had the habit of irritating the audience. Either you don't do any interview or appear on stage, but if you have appeared, speak some sensible things so that interviewer don't feel insulted.
@@nishantupadhyay01 I have the same opinion of Rahman's non-musician presence. Dude just doesn't know what to say. He either has bad communication skills or is too shy. None of which affects his image as a musician at least to me. But yeah if you're not good at stuff like that that involves on the spot communication in front of cameras.... it's okay man. No need to stress yourself.
AR Rahman was the definition of Introvert. He can make you sleep by his music and also can creep the fcuk outta you with his interviews. Even in tamil he rarely gives interviews
