I am going to tell a story. I remember where I was when I heard about Robin Williams passing away. I was with my Brother Chance both of us walked into my Mom's house and our Mom told us about it Me, and my Chance started automatically bashing Robin Williams calling him all kind's of name's and talked about how selfish he was by taking his own life. We even said what did He have to worry about He was a really famous person who had all kind's of money He didn't have a reason for taking His own life. Fast forward 4 year's and I had something in my life that rocked me to my core and I got addicted to drugs and I tried to take my own life and if it wouldn't have been for my beautiful Momma I would have died my Momma told me that GOD was not done writing my story. I think about what me, and my Brother Chance said about Robin Williams and I honestly can't tell you all how many time's I regretted saying that horrible stuff about him bc I was in the same situation a few year's later. I can understand why people who are having problem's do take their own life's bc they think that their loved one's will be better off without you around and I thought this very same thing. But now I can say that I have been clean for a little bit over 7 year's and I got a awesome wife and my life is really good. I would like to tell Robin Williams how truly sorry I am for saying those horrible thing's about him Robin I am from the bottom of my heart sorry for saying those thing's about you. I will see You on the other side Robin.

I grew up with so many Robin Williams movies as a kid in the 90's. He brought me so much joy. But like him, I suffer from severe depression and have nearly my entire life. He is a prime example of suffering in silence, and why you should never assume that just because someone makes you laugh and smiles isn't struggling too. People like Robin make people smile because he doesn't want you to experience the pain he does. And that should speak volumes to anyone who doesn't understand how dangerous depression is.
Thank you Robin Williams for working so hard to bring smiles to our faces. You are missed.

I worked in the office of his personal managers for many years. He was well liked and easy to work with. Managers, as opposed to agents, are far more involved in the client’s personal life than agents. ie helping to shape their career and sometimes functioning almost like family - giving advice - and sustaining balance. During all that time, I never knew if anyone who spoke badly of him.

One thing I will say that I remember my mom talking to her sister after their dad died. Her sister was talking about how much of a Saint he was that he was the most amazing human. Finally mom had enough not because she hated her father but because she had enough of her crap. I remember because I overheard my mom saying you don't remember a lot because you were the baby of the family but our dad could be very acidic and hateful towards someone even his own kids. Mom thought he was going to kill her older brother. I know the take away as in everything there are good people and evil ones though the ones, as the old saying goes a good person is just someone you don't know too well. No matter who they are. People can bury dark secrets deep.

My friend passed away from LBD. It was horrible seeing her vibrant self taken away little by little everyday. This insidious disease takes away not only your personality but your bodily functions bit by bit. Her family suffered along with her until the Lord took her home. By then she couldn’t feed herself, walk, she lost control of her bodily function and was in diapers. It was so painful to see her suffer. I can’t believe Robin was misdiagnosed by the doctors in California when she was diagnosed early on in a small community in Alabama. I guess doctors make mistakes too 😢

That's an extremely hard proposition. _Dead Poets' Society, The Fisher King, The World According to Garp,_ that episode of _Homicide: Life on the Street, Good Will Hunting, One Hour Photo, Insomnia_ I would nominate for drama. For comedy, well: _Popeye, The Survivors, The Birdcage, Mrs. Doubtfire, Aladdin, Jumanji._ I always loved him in any of him comedic roles, but I appreciated him more in his dramatic ones. The thing is: anyone as good as Williams was with his comedic talent, almost naturally is as good at drama. I really need to see more of his filmography.

I loved Robin Williams. I don't care what negative things people said about him. He had his problems and it was sad he took his own life. But I am still a fan of him. He always made me laugh. He'll, I loved imitating him.

I loved Robin Williams! He was full of energy! I love Mork and Mindy . And a bunch of his movies.I think that’s where he got his energy. I saw him on a stand up show. He was running around and not sit still. He was sweating like crazy. I like him with Whoopie and Billy crystal. When they did gigs for charity. Most in Africa ,I think. We just think people who have money. And fame never have any problems.we say I would trade places with them! The rich and famous are not protected from depression and other problems.

Robin Williams had some real issues, among them addiction. He dealt with, and was dealing with that, at the time he became ill with the illness that made him take his own life. I met a person who was dealing with his own addiction and said that it was very common to go to a noontime AA meeting and to be met at the door by Robin Williams, acting as a greeter, who did “welcome”. I find these expose’
OSTs to be offensive, especially when directed at someone who, being dead, doesn’t have the opportunity to call “BS”.

He did say something once as Mork about the price of fame. But some of my favorites are Hook, Jack and Mrs. Doubtfire.

How he died really sucked the fun out of his life, in my humble opinion.
But too late now. It was what it was. very sad.

All geniuses have a darkness in them a pain that they are suffering from thats how they do good on their craft by trying to drown out that pain in their work. Its clear robin was suffering people like him and peter sellers and other greats were like that they were suffering but gave all they had to us in their work. R.i.p. robin Williams

The frenetic pace of his character in comedy was fueled by cocaine. That he cheated on his wife with the babysitter is not a compliment. When his television show was canceled after 1 season and the lack of scripts to read was not encouraging to further success, he left us. RIP.

For me, Robin Williams will always show that the class clown can become successful and loved. I love making jokes since I was a kid and Robin was my idol along with Jim Carrey. They are the mugs and slapstick humor I will laugh at till I die and join him on the stage that all class clowns will stand on.
