    All from Robin Williams
“Don’t associate yourself with toxic people. It’s better to be alone and love yourself than surrounded by people that make you hate yourself.”
“Real loss is only possible when you love something more than you love yourself.”
“Being in the same room with people and creating something together is a good thing.”
“I’m a very tolerant man, except when it comes to holding a grudge."
“Boys, you must strive to find your own voice, because the longer you wait to begin the less likely you are to find it at all.”
“Sometimes you can have a whole lifetime in a day and never notice that this is a beautiful as it gets.”
“Good people end up in Hell because they can’t forgive themselves.”
“A human life is just a heartbeat in heaven.”
“When I was growing up they used to say, “Robin, drugs can kill you.” Now that I’m 58 my doctor’s telling me, “Robin, you need drugs to live.” I realise now that my doctor is also my dealer"
“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”
“Death is nature’s way of saying, “Your table is ready.”
“Seize the day. Because, believe it or not, each and every one of us in this room is one day going to stop breathing.”

What's really interesting about both Robin and Carrie is how they were both incredibly heavy addicts who struggle with addiction their entire lives. Carrie even had traces of multiple drugs in her system found during her autopsy. Both brought so much joy and inspiration to hundreds of thousands of people. It's terrible how the greatest people among us are often the ones who suffer the most behind closed doors.

To be blunt, having that brilliant mind trapped within a betraying body, fragmenting from his dementia...no.
Suicide is the absolute worst thing you can do to the people who care about you. I've considered it many, many times. But rembered what I went through when my best friend killed himself in '93. That keeps me going.
But, if I develop Alzheimer's, dementia, otherwise begin to lose the person I am, instead of letting my family and loved ones suffer through it, I'll kill myself.
I love Robin. Always will. I am still affected by his death. But, I would rather he, as he did, exit on his own terms, than suffer for us, fade into a private hell for himself and his closest loved ones, and die, himself only in the body he inhabited, not in his mind or spirit.

My father had ALS and committed suicide 27 years ago. When Robin took his life I was inconsolable. It's hard for any of us to cope with that depth of sadness in someone that makes us laugh. Funny actually that I won those silly awards in school and up until now meet new people and get compliments on my humor but can say behind "closed doors" even the best days I think about not being here anymore. I suffer so nobody that loves me will at my loss to them in their own way especially my 3 year old granddaughter. My purpose. Be careful what you say to others not knowing how much they may suffer and dont judge others pain. It's not your judgement that holds his pain.

But I have times when I misread things so I don’t let it bother me as much anymore, I use to get really frantic when things like this happened but I have come to understand it’s just my disorder and I will go through it every once and a while.

When I was little I stayed up late at a weekend at my fathers. He had HBO, and at home we did not even have cable. I would watch Robins Stand Up special, and it was like I had a secret with him. At home I watched him as Mork in reruns. As an adult I loved seeing him on "Whose Line Is It Anyway" He gave us so much. So many memories, and sadly he could not keep his own.

I loved his role as Peter Pan In Hook, one of my favourite films to watch as a kid. Even now if it’s on the tv I always end up watching it 😭

And there's nothing more dramatically ironic than a man who lived to make others smile, but not himself. It really brings to mind the classic song, "Smile":
"Smile, though your heart is aching.
      Smile, even though it's breaking.
You'll find your life is still worthwhile
      If you just...smile."

"I just never realized John Wayne walked like that.." The Birdcage is one of the funniest performances! But really he had so many; from the Birdcage to Aladdin, to the "Intro from Hell" and the pink shawl bit from "Inside the Actors Studio", he brought us so many great moments. There will never be another great like Robin. Billy Crystal said it best, "Robin Williams...what a concept"

I Remember Watching Robin Williams on Laugh-In & Happy Days (When I was 7 years old) to Everything he did. Just like most people in my age group, I grew-up with Robin Williams. He was everywhere and loved. Even though he'd never know you, he would always be a "Family" member to you. Always there to make you Smile or Laugh, when you needed it the most. Robin will always be in our Hearts. RIP you Great great great person You.
