    Hello,
    This is the 9th video in a series of lecture on Family Law. In today’s video we will understand the Concept of Maintenance Under Hindu Law with detailed Explanation along with relevant important case Laws. In this lecture of Maintenance Under Hindu Law we will discuss Sec.18 to 28 of Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act,1956 also known as HAMA. We will discuss in detail : Right of maintenance of wife, Maintenance of Children, maintenance of aged parents, amount of maintenance, dependants, maintenance to dependants etc with Important case laws etc. under Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act,1956 in India.
    Family Law is broadly categorized in 2 Parts: Hindu Law & Muslim Law. Hindu Law contains Hindu Marriage Act, Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act, Hindu Minority & Guardianship Act, Hindu Succession Act. Muslim Law contains The Shariat Act, 1937 and Dissolution of Muslim Marriage Act 1939.

    Mam please it's my humble request make a more videos on CPC rules , Sections ,and Orders and also on Evidence act overall on Procedural law because you know these subjects are very difficult to understand and most students cannot understand these subjects very easily so apse hope h ki aap regularly in subjects par video upload krege and correctly teach krege jisme koi mistake na ho ..plz don't mind mam ..Thank you and god bless you

      Hello @Ujjwal Sahu
      If the grandfather dies intestate, the property devolves as per rule of succession provide in Section 8 of 1956, Act. Grandchildren will not get any share in the self-acquired property of the grandfather as grandchildren are not in Class I heirs. The father, i.e. son of the grandfather who is Class I heir gets the share.

    Suffering from a virulent form of leprosy is omitted from sec 18 of HAMA ,1956.. Act of Sec.6 of 2019 w.e.f 1-3-2019.

    Both a and c are correct answer because answer (a) even though she is uncharte but husband agreed and living with her so he is entitled to pay maintenance to here.it was told by my sir.
    option(c) we know that if marriage is vaild than she can entitled to received money

    I was adopted by Say (X) at the age of below 1 year only on oral basis without Hindu adoption law or without law of adoption.
    Main points
    1. I went to my original parents and married a woman under presence of my original parents in 2005 . My own parents did my marriage. After I went to my original parents my adopted father sold his self acquired or self owned property in 2011 to his brother in-law's son.
    2. My adopted father was dead in 2020 December, I came on his death day after 15 years and I did funeral formalities as per Hindu formalities as a son to my adopted father.
    3. My adopted mother is alive now living with his own brother.
    Q1. Can I put a case against my adopted mother how sold property without my permission?
    Q.2 is there any law to cancel those sold property
    Q.3 can I ask through court what they did with Money they sold property.
    Major questions
    Q1 . If i can claim under what section I can forward
    Q.2 If not what section are against me

    According to section 28
    As ur example , If third person who buy the property from B , knows everything that he have to give maintenance to D but the third party also buy this property with consideration , then will he obliged to give maintenance to D ?

      Yess enough....in LLB Ent they don't go much into detail as far as family law is concerned...
      Study Constitution thoroughly and focus more on legal Aptitude maxims etc....you will clear it...
