Seriously he was one of my favorite actors but I can't help but feel like he has been compromised as a person. Only the absolute stupidest people think Trump is a threat to democracy. He is a threat to the status quo which is driving our country into the ground. By saying he is a threat to democracy you are literally threatening democracy by not allowing people to have a choice without parading them and treating them like less than you. Anthony quinn's speech to armand assante in "gotti" when he got john a pass from don carlo was epic. "But if don carlo said you gotta go .i would have come here today with these two zips and you would go" .That scene is chilling.
Everything you said was 100% spot on! I have to agree with everything you said especially the part about protecting your Women/Wives. I’m 54, and grew up in an Irish/Cajun American household in a neighborhood known as the Irish Channel. My PawPaw was a connected guy back then. It was never something that was never really talked about!
I have done the door lock test a few times Mike, every woman reached over to lift the lock! These days we have key fobs that open all the doors so it's now a thing of the past! I preach the "for $20 he's out of your life" all the time. I use the concept in all types of situations!
Micheal, two things. No 1, it always amazes me how incredible you look for your age especially given the previous life you have led. No 2, I suspect you are still troubled by your past life. Which to be fair is understandable. However, I watched something recently where someone was told to "Stop beating yourself about the past, it's time to move on and let go" That sounds like great advice to me!
Senior Franzese, I recommend you the movie "Ghost Dog: The Way of Samurai." You're gonna love it, the blend of the Mafia, Samurai, and Hip Hop cultures
Sweet scenes. Only missing was the Joe Pesci character ‘ Am I funny? ‘ iconic scene. Hopefully you react to Tulsa King S2 , The Penguin and the new Mafia The Old Country game.
I do enjoy Michael’s reports / intelligent talk from an intelligent bloke. Yes, Peaky Blinders needs subtitles even for us English sometimes. Some of our accents are very different from each other.
I know you've already covered "The Sopranos" in a different video but there is one scene where Tony is eating at vesuvio and Ralph Cifaretto has to apologize to him and explain what he's done. Great scene to watch because it shows what a boss does to a soldier by telling him down.
Deniro, Pesci and Pacino are the most brilliant actors and are always in the best scenes. Thanks Michael and God bless. Paulie from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
This was a great reaction video. I’m also pumped for the wise/wise guy podcast, it’s actually really good. It’s a lot of good, helpful, often uplifting stuff (and some mob stuff too).
When Michael was talking to Sonny about Cops and made guys taking the same oath. He could have quoted MS. "Sometimes we are all hypocrites". One of the best quotes and scenes from the Sopranos.
I will gladly watch his early films, & his films with Scorsese, but nothing current. I will only watch him in a new film these days if it is by Scorsese. He is also mostly lazy. He has been lazy for the last 2 decades anyway. I actually thought the De Niro scene Michael reacted to was pretty cringe. Just De Niro acting too hard to be a tough guy. It just came off as forced to me. Same thing as his performance as Al Capone in The Untouchables. I know a lot of people like that film & his performance (I like the film), but I thought De Niro was horribly miscast & was just doing a typical De Niro tough guy act.
I will still watch his classics (like with Scorsese, or Once Upon a Time in America), but nothing else. I will watch him in current stuff if its done by Scorsese though. The scene Michael reacted to, De Niro made me cringe to be honest. Just a wannabe tough guy.

Robert de Niro telling that couple _’LETS NOT FORGET PEARL HARBOR’_ whilst trying to sell them a GERMAN made car is absolutely priceless 😂🤣 Fun fact: In ‘Ronin’ they used a similar Audi S8 🙃
I'd like to see De Niro speak to Tommy DeSimone the way he rants about Trump. DeSimone isn't alive anymore, but just a hypothetical scenario. De Niro keeps proclaiming how much of a tough guy he is in real life, so I'd just like to see him put his money where his mouth is.
Manhattan Melodrama was the last movie John Dillinger saw. That scene with DeNiro, I knew a guy, no names but some people said he knew somebody but he did that. He wasn't selling cars but it was something similar. Very funny to me.
You should do a bunch of scenes from Casino, particularly when Nicky threatened the banker or when he had a meeting with Deniro in the desert. Or some scenes from Road to Perdition. One of my favorite movies.
There'd need to be a whole series documenting scenes from the 1990s alone. Also, Capo dei Capi, a Sicilian series on the Sicilian mafia in the time of Riina, is a masterpiece.
