You can feel that all you want, but news flash, I usually don’t try to fully evolve everything since that would just make Ash OP and it’s not very good storytelling to have a main Protagonist that never loses.
Don’t know if you would do this and if you adding some of the Pokémon movie to this what if. But I would fine it cool if you have Ash catch Latias from the Latias and Latios movie but I can understand that you can’t do it for reasons

Honestly, Ash catching pink Butterfree is a very nice move for Ash, as in shows how much he cares for all his Pokemon.
