2. What if Ash Didn't get Pikachu?
Simply put He catches His First Pokemon with The Help of Prof Oak.

This one, Is meant as a Technoblade Reference.

Ash's Loss At The Orange League is A Eye Opener, allowing him to start The Johto Journey more mature than before, Not to mention that he goes to Johto with Just Pikachu.
All of these sound interesting except 4 since i’ve never seen Technoblade

I have some criticism here you said Bulbasaur did not evolve because of Charizard didn't listen to Ash but that is completely false. In the original Canon Bulbasaur never addressed it didn't evolve because Charizard was disobedient the reason why Bulbasaur didn't want to evolve is it wanted to prove other Pokemon it could be strong without evolving.
You're wrong, bulbausaur never said why he didn't want to evolve. He just probably liked the way he was or he felt like he wasn't ready. He literally had no reason to prove other pokemon they could still be strong without evolving. Vegito actually says that he thinks that bulbasuar didn't evolve because charizard was disobedient, key word thinks. That means he doesn't say it is facts but what he thinks is true. Either way I do agree with vegito, bulbasuar doesn't have problems with evolved mons and bulbasuar would not tell other pokemon if they would evolve or not if a pokemon asked if they should evolve.
@@theophrastusbombastus827 What I said was what plus Ultraman said because plus Ultra man does not believe vegito's Theory also Ash in the original guess that Bulbasaur did not want to evolve because it wanted to prove other Pokemon it could be strong without evolving.
@@theophrastusbombastus827 There is an actual episode "Bulbasaur Garden" where Bulbasaur doesn't want to evolve because it wants to prove itself to be strong without evolving. That's why it never evolved.

If ash evolved his pikachu I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped listening to ash again and started to hate him. It trusted ash and ash forcing it to evolve would Ultimately break their friendship and might even escalate to raichu abandoning ash entirely and ash eventually feeling very guilty for evolving Pikachu and I think he would make a pledge to really try and listen to what his pokemon want from then on but the damage would already be done. That's my take anyway.
That would be the fact IF Ash forced Pikachu to evolve. But in this What if Pikachu willingly chose to evolve and Ash didn't force it to do anything because Ash would let his Pokémon decide and would always respect and accept their choices
@@YounesNounous if you look at the context of the episode in question, ash evolving his pikachu by force is much more likely of a what if to occur so I went with that.

He probably could have beaten Gary if he had used Charizard against Dodrio instead of Ivysaur meaning he could have saved Ivysaur for Golem

If Pikachu evolve into Raichu the mascot of Pokemon would be Raichu instead of Pikachu imagine that change.

That was Johto Ash that beat all of those Pokémon, when he had way more experience because even with stronger Pokémon, Ash is still a rather inexperienced at this point in the story.

Yeah Pikachu would want to help Ash win and prove Surge’s point wrong of evolving pokemon as soon as you catch them. Also big fan of your content.
@@VegitoWhatIfs I appreciate that! Though I think thats a very flawed reasoning even if you'd mentioned it in the video. Proving Surge wrong would mean going with canon and not evolving at all since that was the crook of his argument not the speed of evolution.
Pikachu being convinced by Surge, or better yet Raichu, would have worked way better I think because then you would have had more to work with in terms of changes. Ash's Pikachu and Raichu were characterized as the exact same and the excess power it gained seemed kinda vaugue/meaningless since a lot of story beats match up to canon near perfectly. It doesn't even battle very differntly its still pretty much Pikachu. Charizard obeying was a fun change, but again why not explore that more?
And small tangent but Bulbasaur deciding not to evolve because of Charizard's attitude change in canon by the way is a pretty terrible theory when thought of critically. One of Bulbasaur's main character traits is being a level headed mediator, and on top of that its the first of the Kanto starters Ash catches and therefore has the most time to bond with. If the Charizard theory is true canon does very little to support it. How come Bulbasaur didn't train harder to match Charizard and help Ash reign it in? Much less if Charizard was its reasoning for not evolving I feel the end of that reasoning still leads to evolution because it'd help Bulbasaur mediate the situation better. I think Bulbasuar was just most confortable and happy as a Bulbasaur. Nothing more and nothing less.
8I mention this because there are just SOOOO many either wasted opportunities here or a disturbing amount of places where I feel (sorry I don't know a nicer way to put it) you and your storytelling are very lazy. You either skip past everything, leave it nearly as canon, or change it in a way that isn't very well justified or explained. The story sounded like a summary of events rather than a story.
For instance Primeape stays on the team b/c Ash saw through a scheme? (one that didn't exist mind you) #1 Theres no set up or reasoning for that other than the writer liking Primeape and wanting it on the team and #2 Why on earth did you give more attention to that detail than Pikachu's decision?
Hope to see you continue to grow, I'll admit I've not been a fan of your content so far as until this video I've found your narration extremely hard to understand, so good job on improving in that a bit

to be fair it was a pretty close fight, plus Ash needs motivation to go to the other regions to get stronger

That’s true although i could see Gary just getting dominated in either the semifinals or the finals which could humble him a bit
Your narration honestly needs work, it feels like when you talk, you talk like there's a comma at the end of your sentences instead of a period. Plus, you put emphasis in weird places in sentences, and it overall feels like the narration itself just needed some more time in the oven, maybe try mixing different takes, instead of trying to do it all in one take?
