It's just coward act done by weakling and losers who just gave up from life struggles unless there is some serious issue like long term physical abuse and mental issue.
IIT is the biggest opportunity that one can ever find in his life , defaming IIT for the sake for your pride is not make you sauve.

I am so happy I found that "enlightenment" at the age of 18. Although it was solo difficult, it was worth it. That ONE decision to go against the whole belief system I've built up for the past 18 years, was hard. But once I did, I was so much more at peace and so much more happy. What I realized is that to be happy, you have to be at some kind of peace. Now it can be of any kind. Peace with yourself, your situation, people around you and all I don't know everyone is different. But once you get that peace you'll be happy EVEN IF things aren't perfect.
I've been a kid who was good at lying. I can lie with a straight face and you won't suspect a thing. And I've been doing it for as far as I can remember because I mean ... Is it possible for a 5-6 year old kid to understand the true meaning of truth? I knew if I admitted something I'll be in trouble. And a lot of dumb things like every kid does. But.... Once I realized what truth really is, and I tried telling the truth... It was soooo hard but even making the decision to tell a simple truth made me so proud of myself. It was as simple as telling my mom maybe I added sugar in tea 2 times. I could have easily lied that it was her but I decided against it. The tea was all right so I didn't have to say anything but the decision of telling the truth made me soooo happy and so much at peace.
This is a Very small thing and just the beginning. I still have my whole life and I still have to figure out my passions and all but.... It's okay. Focusing on the tasks at hand and what I can do and rest.... I am confident that I'll be able to handle anything that comes my way.
