I wasn’t good in sports but I learned Badminton ,cooking ,TT , swimming , hit gym , learned guitar , chess ,read books and even studied in the span of two years and got pretty awesome in all . The bright side is when I look back I realise I wouldn’t have been able to learn all this if I was still in that relationship, be the Man U want to be and rest will follow. Aur chatna to bhai band kardo ,appreciate people and their character not any girl just bcz she is beautiful .

More than year ago, I developed a crush with someone who was my friend. I confided my feelings to her and she didn't reciprocate, citing we would rather be friends. Of course the rejection did hurt at first, and it was awkward meeting her after that. But slowly things became normal between us. Now I don't have any such feelings for her anymore. We both are busy with our lives and don't communicate that much.
The point is I never had this urge to make her fall in love with me nor did I stalk her to see if she is dating someone or not. I just had developed a feeling, been honest about it by telling her, and after getting rejected I moved on. I never took the rejection personally. Also I don't think about what would have been if we were a couple. Never.

It's been 6 months from my breakup and now I can confidently say, I am a different person than I was before. Instead of handing over the switch to my happiness to someone else, I kept it with me. Started up new hobbies, found out what I really liked. I shifted the focus of my life to myself instead of someone else. You've shown me the path to find solitude and work hard; and I'm so glad I gathered strength and made a choice to walk down that path. I read your book as well.
