Nice work! I had an AUII cab chassis. A Tradesman pack. Also had the 3 seats and column shift auto. The rear seat storage boxes are a handy option. Looks like yours has spent much time on dirt roads.
Nice! I love the bench seats in these. In the next video I service the transmission - hopefully its a driver! Once it can move I'm itching to scrub that dirt off
@@FNTskids Hope the tranmission comes to life with an oil refill. Just did oil and filter change on the ZF 6hp26 auto in my FG mk2 ute. Started leaking at the oil pan gasket at 150 000km. Seeing as I had to remove the pan to replace the gasket, might as well change the oil and filter. I believe the ZF holds about 10 litres of oil. Managed to get about 6 litres of old oil out. Hopefully better than nothing. Should be fairly similar with the BTR in the AU.
@@railtrolley Thanks mate, Gear box content is in part 2. It ended up taking 3 liters and then after running through the gears another liter. I'll check it again after a little drive. Only about 500ml came out of mine so it was desperately low!
Had mine 12 yrs. Series 3 Ute mighty AU
Now needs a sweet turbo set-up 👍
Amazing! Can't wait to see the car on the road!
looks like a goer, good video
maybe a leaking transcooler in radiator is the reason for looping the hose. or they were planning on a manual swap and gave up.
Im supecting this also. I ordered a external transcooler so that should do the trick!
