I feel like RM is the perfect bridge between all the members, with 3 older and 3 younger members, and also being an ambivert with 3 introverts and 3 extroverts he can connect and relate to everyone. As the main songwriter (he’s the most in charge of lyrics though J-Hope and Suga obviously write a lot too) he’s also the pillar of the group’s musical style. And the was the first member, the one who impressed Bang PD so much that he chose to build BTS around Namjoon. He also respects and supports his members so much, always giving them chances to do acceptance speeches, encouraging them to get more involved with writing and producing, truly leading horizontally like it was said in the video. There could have been no one chosen as leader other than Namjoon, he truly can’t be over appreciated.
Namjoon is the best and people still have the nerve to hate on him like he wasn’t responsible for their biases even being in or even being a bts in the first place
One reason that I believe RM is the perfect leader for BTS is because he has respect for all of the members and the members have respect for him. You have to have respect for each other for any group to work. Other than that, RM is just awesome anyway.
Namjoon is the bridge between the older members and the younger ones. He balances the team, he has earned respect from his team and bang shi Hyuk, he’s intellectual, he does his research, he’s considerate and aware of his actions and willing to apologise and change, he’s an amazing lyricist, and his personality is just a cherry on top of a lovely cake!
Let's just confirm, RM is the guy that leads from the back, encouraging his brothers forward. Delivers overwhelming ment speeches, and the main driving force behind this amazing team.
True RM is really a good leader. I've seen in some video clips how he manage all the members of BTS he had a wide understanding and patience to the members..Borahae✌️💜
I agree RM is the best leader. I love how he sees everyone of the members for who they are and was the one to convince JHope to stay when he wanted to leave. RM knew how important JHope and every member is to BTS. 💜 Love him. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
war of hormone personally wasn't offensive to me, i can't say about other people but idk the members themselves said it was from a teenage boy perspective, the song has character writing, the lyrics aren't necessarily what the members truly think of women, and even if that were the case, there weren't particular harmful lyrics, the praised women and women's bodies, there are artists that have said way worse sh1t 🧍♀️
Watch the video of that Jason Derulo guy, "Talk Dirty To Me", & then compare it with "War Of Hormones"! Some ppl r too pathetic or raised too protective!!! Our body ìs naked jeez, get over it!!!!
War of Hormone is a fucking great song! and the performance is freaking cute! They don't say shit that a lot of other artists in the world say. I am sad and angry that I probably will never see this performance live.
“War of Hormones” controversy: I’m 72 … they were describing in 2014 (?) what teenage boys, early 20’s, were like waaaaay back in my day. And my mother’s, and her mother’s, and … well, you get the drift. That being said, as a civilization we can learn to express it better. First by teaching how to respect boundaries and control our basest natures. What I respect about the outcome of this particular story is they chose to grow from it and incorporate the lessons in future lyrics.
namjoon is a role model to alot of idols who are also leaders especially the 4th gen ones the way he handles things and how mature he is why wont you look up to him?
War of hormones its a great song. It's about puberty's phase. It doesn't have any offensive lyrics against women. Haters tried to discredit BTS' song. I personally love so much this song. 💜
He is not just the best leader, he is the perfect human being. I love this sexy brained, humble, talented, sensitive, nature loving bibliophile so much that it doesn't even make sense. There should be an everyday reminder that we have BTS today because of KIM NAMJOON!!!
As a girl war of hormone isn't misogynistic to me it's just a phase and some of the members are still teens them telling I'm the best from head to toe is cute to me (I get it why some thought it's misogynistic and the fact that the subs are kinda all over the place doesn't help)

He just usually doesnt get the credit he deserves from it..

i used to brush war of hormone drama aside completely but i kind of understand to an extent where some people were coming from at the time after learning abt the absolute state of a lack of women’s rights, dismissal of basic feminism and the mass of incel behaviour in south korea, those voices even becoming the majority in some areas. if you’ve been following what they have to say about their female olympians the past month, you’d know what i’m talking about. there are whole accounts dedicated to translating and exposing the daily extreme misogynistic attacks made by south korean men, who denounce the use of priority seating for pregnant women and make frequent rape threats. some male idols have been discovered to severely sexually harass girls, objectify them, not hold them to the same standard of men, and groom them to even extents of rape and pedophilia and human trafficking. we usually say “too soon” when someone makes a “dark joke” about tragedies that were.. too soon, and i think that sort of vibe can be attributed to comments made in places and situations that aren’t ideal either. so i think korean women had a considerable justification to take some things that we in more socially progressed places would not consider that bad, whilst for those women even the smallest implication of objectifying women can be a reflection of the behaviour they receive from actually misogynistic men, so it could easily be misconstrued to be normalising aggressive behaviours much worse than they actually are intended to portray. another example could be a gay polish person being more offended at a straight person making a light gay joke that gay people from countries that are safer for gay people such as the uk or something (nowhere’s perfect yet but evidently better) would not find much of an issue, but the impact of the words can hit harder for the polish gay person bc gay people in poland suffer from homophobia both from the government and the “ordinary straight people” to a much larger, normalised and more impacting extent. time and a place kinda thing. but, at the end of the day, there’s always going to be people from western countries who don’t even know how south korea fails its women that tend to use such scandals to cancel groups they just don’t like, to try to get rid of them, when they don’t actually truly care about the issue. i, personally, as a victim of many bs from men that im not gonna get into, don’t take offence as they’ve apologised and i trust them enough to know that they’d never mean it in the way it was seen by some and i don’t wholly understand why many western women today would but the south korean women had some justification to be sensitive after the bs they probably go through. obviously, following the apologies and songs like 20th century girl and boy with luv, then we can get into talking how it’s used unnecessarily to dirty their name, i’m solely talking about the reactions of the south korean women following the immediate release of the song and its mv. the problem is we don’t tend to look into these issues bc people have started looking at south korea through the same rose-tinted glasses as we were to japan a few years ago. there are many things to judge about the war of hormone controversy, but i wouldn’t say the entire existence of the scandal is completely ridiculous, yet not enough people who fuss about it “being an amazing song, they ruined everything there’s nothing wrong with it” come from an enough of an educated standing point, including in these comments. much like rm did, i think problems like these are golden situations to finally listen to the voices that matter and lend a hand to korean women so one day they hopefully don’t feel they have to be as reactionary.
This was so well put, I think you're right. I always try to put myself in the shoes of people who feel wronged, to try to understand why they feel that way but I see I never bothered to do that enough for korean women and so I just brushed their criticism aside, I'm happy the boys took correction and apologized, most people would just ignore it and push past. International fans getting mad over it is something that's ridiculous though 😂 they're just hungry for the slightest thing to attempt to cancel them for
Aswell I believe its satire about how young men literally have a battle with their hormones when they see a beautiful girl. Even if it was written in the perspective of the members, which I don’t think it is, worse has been said in other songs. Aswell misogyny is prejudice against women and hating them, they clearly said they love women and that women are the best gifts, proving they don’t hate women!
Wellsaid!!!! And if u check out the music video of that Jason Derulo guy with "Talk Dirty To Me", nò ònè complains, he even cusses!!!! And they dònt, but they bleep, excuse my French, about thàt, they r woman haters, & too over protective raised!!!!

I believe the other Fandoms targeted JHope because he is so talented and they knew if they could get him to quit then it would BTS. They just didn't count on the bond between them.
I didn’t find the lyrics offensive, and like it was stated, the translation wasn’t completely right. But it was taken that way, I don’t think it had anything to do with the lyrics in the song, I think it had to do with BTS themselves and people hating on then because of their hate towards BTS. Because I guarantee you, if those lyrics were said now, they wouldn’t be mad, they would be yelling, screaming and cheering. Also, they were young boys, everyone makes mistakes or has something that they look back on, and say, “ man! Why did I say that?! Or why did I do that?”. Everyone is so stinking sensitive right now, if someone says something “they” don’t like, they twist and turn it around and say “this! Is what they mean by this”. Everyone else is to stupid to call them out, and they just jump on the hate train, and say, that whomever said it must be right. Then it just snowballs and grows bigger, when in reality it was nothing to begin with. Everything someone does or says, you might not like, you deal with that yourself and don’t try and pull others in to make yourself feel justified in why you don’t like something. If someone did that to you, you wouldn’t be able to handle it. It’s sickening, disgusting, and so sad.
The song itself slaps but I personally have never been a fan of WoH. I think what's unfortunate is that it's become a whole narrative now, between antis and even within the fandom, but the fact of the matter is that sometimes we say/do things that are insensitive or make people uncomfortable, and even if we didn't mean to, that doesn't negate what we did. I appreciate that they apologized for it and the song is still readily available for those who want to listen to it. The part that's frustrating now is that there's this continued argument around WoH when BTS has clearly moved on and changed from that time but it's just this continued ongoing ~discourse~ about this one song from like, 7 years ago lol. I get that I'm adding to it now by even commenting lol but I just wanted to get my opinion out there. There's a lot of ppl who love WoH, I am not one of them, but I also accept that BTS has moved on from 2014. I found them around 2017 and already was deep down the rabbit hole when I first listened to WoH and didn't like the lyrics, but I personally saw how they responded and changed and it didn't stop me from continuing to stan them 4 years later
Even now JHope is so underrated. He always gets the least views on his solo videos. He’s not my bias but I find myself streaming his videos the most every time because I feel so bad. He’s the 2nd leader for BTS and did a lot for BTS. I wish fans would treat him better. As a woman who had a teenage boy I don’t find the song offensive. It’s puberty! There are worst songs In America.
Idk I you know that but at around 23:59 the melody he's rapping on is from a children song. I think it has a double meaning. @@Blessed_MK exactly! No ones is going to change my opinion of the song, bc when it comes down to it it isn’t. I’m in no way trying to devaluate other people’s feelings if they deemed it misogynistic, but I feel like they don’t really understand it bc there was no way BTS were trying to be disrespectful towards women.
Honestly, I'm think most haters are not very bright or intelligent people. Many of them are like sheep following the few really evil ones and just repeating and magnifying the hate on artists without understanding anything. No mind of their own. It's so awful that because of these hate comments and threats, many talented artists are subjected to extreme mental stress. They are already under so much unimaginable pressure to stay relevant in their field and then you get these mindless haters trying to 'kill them off'. Really sad that many artists have resorted to suicide to escape the pain. It's not fair.

@@jinphany. exactly!!!! Like people just be saying anything and the media runs with it. I honestly see nothing wrong with the song and i quite like it and as a woman lmao I will continue to listen to and enjoy the song.
RM is the Shit Periodt! Without RM BTS wouldn't have the Amazing songs they sing today!👏🕺🎶🎤👑🌎🤑😍
It's hard to disprove a negative for sure. Bts is always fighting and having to prove themselves even today.
chemical symbol for iron is Fe, so when male + fe = female (woman). Yes he is so smart indeed.😄 I used to watch problematic men tv show.

6:10 YES!
*Also RM is the middle child of BTS. Jhope is also born in 1994 but is few months older than RM. There are three members older and three members younger than him--he is a bridge and also a pillar. I hope you shine bright moonchild, your craters also shine bright to the earth (ARMY)*
Beautifully said, both bridge and pillar.
I don't want to cry
By saying their perfect, ur adding pressure & stress on them, they understand their job, thàt's what's making them good.
The son question started with Johns father has five sons, ten, twenty, thirty, forty 😂😂😂that’s why the fifth son is named John
Protect Hobi 💜
My guess - Your IQ is probably about or above 120. “This results in approximately two-thirds of the population scoring between IQ 85 and IQ 115 and about 2.5 percent each above 130 and below 70.” ~wikipedia.
Signs of intelligence include humor, curiosity, and a certain level of recognizable talent. Just my humble opinion you fit the criteria.
Off topic but V sounds like Bang Si Hyuk PD-nim.
In answer to RM's answer about John's sons. I got it so maybe I am high IQ!
*"JOHN'S" father has five sons--ten, twenty, thirty, fourty...the fifth son is "JOHN" himself*

The question was "John's" father has 5 sons. Ten, Twenty, Thirty, Forty. Who is the fifth son? Naturally the fifth son is John.
