What I really love about this series is they provide Korean in the captions, and for learners that's a big deal. None of that auto-generated BS. I highly recommend learning the language because many of the lyrics just don't translate properly. Even just knowing up to the A-1 level makes a huge difference when listening to their music.
The things about the kpop culture that was said on this episode is true, also knowing the journey of BTS almost none of the culture were applied to BTS. Most especially IDOLS - spotless. BTS showed vulnerability ans weaknesses, that's what makes them relatable and loveable. They never portrayed perfection but greatness. None of them are perfect, they are crackheads, their skills arw amazing but they still show their weak sides. That's BTS. They broke every particular notions when it comes to the culture of kpop. They didn't follow the path to becoming superstars, they made their own!
I never get tired of seen this episodes, seen them many times and loved them for their hard work, for their humbleness, caring, loving, and for being extraordinary, amazing, and one of kind young men. 💜💜💜
Also, I absolutely hate that birthday prank on JK - he's so young and vulnerable and insecure; the way he keeps asking "The director was acting too, right?" even after it's been revealed... But then I think about the pressure they lived under, the insecurity and critique through the entire trainee period, and part of me thinks of it as a "desensitizing exercise" or something, a harmless version of what they lived through for years, something JK must have experienced more than once. 💔😢
I hate it too. He never talked about how much pressure being the main vocalist of the group at the age of 15 was for him at the time but he talked about it when he was older. In that interview he did I believe in 2020 where he talked about how much pressure it was for him at the time & he questioned how he wondered if he could do it I thought about this prank & it broke my heart.
RM was the first trainee (of the future BTS) to join BigHit in 2010. Suga and JHope became trainees shortly after. Jin and Jungkook followed, sometime in 2010 or 2011, along with V. Jimin was the last to join in late 2012, so he had the least amount of time to prepare for their debut. Their official debut date was 06/13/13, so every year on 6/13, they celebrate their anniversary with what they call Festa (not fiesta).
Sorry the stream had to be cut short, but thank you for doing the series. The creator does a great job editing these clips together to make a great narrative for each ep. I do want point out/request down the line in the series she’s going to use clips from BTS’s official documentaries, if you could watch those before this series when the time comes I think that would be great. Reason being is that it will help with context and understanding(cause of copyright she can’t put to much clips of the documentaries) and also I think it’s always better the watch BTS own content before watching something fan made. Thank you. Also BTS is actually coming with their own series that chronicles their career, it’s going to be in Disney+ sometime next year
Jungkooks worst nightmare they used against him as a “prank” lol poor kid was so relieved he was in tears… this kid man lol he never wants to let them down… the prank went in way too long lol I’m glad they didn’t show it all 😂 that’s def so family!!
Fun fact: "Hitman Bang" talking about the new audition sounds like he has a Swedish accent. I was FASCINATED the first time I heard it, and actually had to go look up if he had a background from Sweden - none of the other Koreans I've heard speaking accented English sound like they're Swedish, it's just those few lines but it really hit me hard! (I'm half Swedish, half Norwegian, and can manage to speak English with either accent if I work at it (otherwise it's more of a "Where in England are you from? Did you spend time in the US?"-mishmash. ;) )
FINALY!!!! Yay John is starting TROB! Let's goooooo! So excited to watch this again with you. I knew you would eventually get to it but I've been waiting so impatiently because I know you're going to have some great reactions as always.
Oh, I'm disapointed no to be able to be here for your live stream John ! I love Rise of Bangtan. Aneesa shared that she has been working on this series for over 3 years. For me it's the best to discover BTS history. There are official documentaries to show them during their world tours and behind the scene, very well made too but not so informative : "Burn the Stage, Bring the Soul, Break the Silence, and we attend a new one on Disney Channel "Behind the stars"
This 1st episode of ROB shows the typical k-pop system and how the labels/industry work, but also, how différent is BTS and Big Hit. Some hints are really subtle, and some new Army fail to noticed them : when it is said idols don't have a lot of creative freedom, you see Namjoon and Yoongi writing lyrics/ when it says idols have phone bans , you see the BTS members on their phones/when idols say they aren't allowed to go outside the dorm, you see Yoongi walking around freely. The série also show the differences between BTS' worries and the other trainees worries. BTS' were worried about their own personal skills (not dancing well enough, song worries, etc), about not getting attention when they debut due to their small company, not having money, while the other trainees seem to be living in fear of being cut from the company at any moment if they make one mistake, worrying about weight quotas, etc. (NB: BTS don't have weight quota, but you often see them doing a diet, before every come-back, to be thiner. It seems to be a very important standard not only for Idols, but for all Korean people, and in a lot of asian culture. ) BTS and Big Hit was différent since the pre début. Bang Si-Hyuk , when he created Big Hit, openly stated he didn't like the system that the Idol industry had created and he wanted to do better. So he choose the boys for their talents and raw potential, not for their face (except Jin, none of them fit the very strict "k pop male beauty standards" , that's why anti attack them so badly for being "ugly (!) or "not a idol face", specially RM and J hope, but also Jimin who suffer from bodyshaming because he was cheeky and not thin enough, poor angel ! The most stupid and hateful comments I have ever seen. ) BH let the boys have control over music, express their opinions, allowed them to talk about issues that many in SK society wouldn't, like mental health, school pressure, disparity in societal classes and so on. This mindset, added to the lack of fund and connections, made them an anomaly in the Kpop Industry. They succeed without any help , and against the system witch try to destroy them. They created another way to be successfull, and the most unusual codependant relationship between a group, a compagny and a fandom that had ever exist : Bangtan, Big Hit and Army, like a family. The most incredible underdog success story of the whole musical industry ! Also , Rm was the first to be sign by the compagny in 2010. At that time, the project was to made a hip hop group, and the first line up of BTS was only rappers. In 2011, the project was cancelled, and Bang PD decided to create a hip hop Idol group. All the rappers leave, except RM, J Hope and Suga, and yes, they have to dance ! 😄 Nota: for the ages, don't forget Korean ages are not international ages. So in january 2013, they have respectively : JK 15 years old, V and Jimin 17, RM and J Hope 18 (turn 19 in February) , Suga 19 (turn 20 in march) and Jin 20 Nota 2 : your chat desesperatly try to tell you that there is a bonus chapter and a deleted scenes episode for each chapter, and you HAVE to watch them just after the correspondant chapter, to make sense Lol ! it's complement each chapter .
The way stars are made in Korea is the same ways sports stars are made in west. When someone wants it so bad, no sacrifice is enough. Thank you for your reaction. By the way, ExCeleste is a very well known BTS documentary creator. She is one of the most amazing Army I have ever seen. 💜
This is a great series! Aneesa (the creator of The Rise of Bangtan) shared that she has been working on this series (her labor of love) for over 3 years! She is taking viewer on a journey step-by-step from BTS' perspective not looking back on their days but living through them (with them). She edits their content to allow BTS to speak their thoughts, through their experiences at the time because BTS has been documenting themselves since BEFORE their debut, so there is A LOT of material to edit down to tell their story! She also gives an overview of the KPop history for those who are not familiar with the industry. She uses clips from different video clips of other idols/ journalists interviews to try to give a broader perspective of the industry. Her skill as a professional video editor really shines through. Amazing work! I think many ARMY really like this series (besides it being extremely well made), she doesn't try to interpret what "she thinks" BTS is trying to say, she just shows the viewers exactly what they said and shared about what their thoughts were at the time. She is an "OG" KPop fan and BTS fan since pre-debut! She also shared that BTS has been the light in her darkness for many years now. *(Cr: "FY" on yt)* I think it's important to notice the differences between BTS' worries and the other trainees worries. BTS' were worried about their own personal skills (not dancing well enough, song worries, etc), about not getting attention when they debut due to their small company, not having money, etc. While the other trainees seem to be living in fear of being cut from the company at any moment if they make one mistake, worrying about weight quotas, etc. BTS stayed until late hours because they WANTED to, while the other trainees HAD to. Obviously BTS had things they had to do too, they could've not made it to debut as Jimin almost did due to short training, but instead of using that as a fear to hold over them Bighit seemed to use it to encourage them to work harder and improve themselves. BTS were allowed to make mistakes without worrying they'd be thrown out of the company. I'm very glad that they all signed with Bighit, and that Bighit has caused a shift in the Kpop industry, lots of newer companies are giving their groups more freedom and treating them better due to BTS' success. These companies see that idols don't need to be punished and forced to do things in order to succeed, BTS are proof that freedom and happiness should be the most important thing. *(Cr: "Shannon" on yt)* Now plz understand this 1st episode shows two sides, one is typical k-pop system and how the labels/industry work, whereas subtle hints of BTS and bighit being contradictory different is shown, BTS is different from other K-pop groups and BigHit is different from other idol music companies. These first few episodes can be misleading because it makes you think BTS management follows these guidelines the other idol members from other companies are talking about, but BTS and BigHit don't do those things. Notice how when it is said idols don't have a lot of creative freedom, you see Namjoon and Yoongi writing lyrics, or when it says idols have phone bans or something, you see the BTS members on their phones, or how when idols say they aren't allowed to go outside the dorm, you see Yoongi walking around freely. It can be a confusing thing for new ARMY to make note of, but PLEASE notice these differences. It is vital to how BigHit runs differently, and therefore why BTS is so different from other idol groups from the very start. *(Cr: "Kayla Kulik" on yt)*
this was awesome, thank you for doing this. ARMY can watch this over and over again. it' so cool to see how they've grown and become their own and how close their brotherhood is.💜
And about the loosing weight... I don't know who said this to Jimin but they said he has to loose weight in order to look more manly and Baby Jungkook in puberty (age 15- 17) was teasing Jimin a lot becuase of his looks but not anymore, he is more mature now. I think Jungkook didn't think too much about the weight of his words because he was still so young. Jungkook was sorry too and apologized because he realized that it looks like he doesn't like Jmin but he does very much (not in a romantic way I think) I will not say it's completely his fault because Haters are the main reason at least I think so but sadly Jimin is still thinking till this day too much about his weight. AND I wanted to add that Jungkook is NOT a mean guy he was a teenage boy who didn't know how to handle all the attention and love Jimin gave him, because Jimins love lenguage is shown by him mostly in a physical way and Jungkook didn't know back then how to react, that's why he pushed Jimin away from him. Jimin always was very hurt by that but now they are one of the closest, they always hanging out together. He cares alot about Jimin!
Taylor made an awesome intro to BTS. She and her boss went to BTS concert and vlogged. She said something that still makes me tear up about having something in common with the 50 000 people in the stadium. I m not quoting it well, i ll try and find it. It went viral on twitter too.
Awww, it froze for em, but it's a good thing because I have to shower and go to bed anyways, lol. I hate Mondays!! See ya on the next live, this was so much fun!!!
Jungkook was a big get for them. I don’t know much about why JK didn’t make it through on the show he was on but he was only 13 then. That may have been why. His voice hadn’t even changed yet because that happened when he was apart of BTS. But yes he really did have offers from 7 agencies & some of them were the big agencies. And he choose small Big Hit because of RM. He saw him perform & thought he was so cool. He has talked a lot about RM being the sole reason he signed with Big Hit. He says RM is his first & last role model & he always wants to be wherever Namjoon is his leader. And RM says about JK that he was his second big break. He says his 1st big break was when he signed with Big Hit & his 2nd big break was when JK signed. Jungkook is very gifted musically. Don’t get me wrong he works extremely hard too. In their documentaries from when they were on tour he always stays behind & practices longer after the other members finish. Sometimes Jimin stays behind & sings with him. In any of their behind the scenes stuff you often hear him in the background singing. Tae & Jimin have very distinctive beautiful tones. Jin has the power vocals. They are all incredible vocalists but what makes JK so gifted is his ear. He has an incredible ear & sense of rhythm & timing. He can sing anything anytime anywhere with or without music. Producers & other musicians that work with them always comment on how talented & impressive he is. Many people believe he has perfect pitch & those people include people in the music industry (not just fans). When asked if he has it in a Run BTS episode he said he can hear the tones but doesn’t know the note names.
Yes hobi has been bias wrecked me from the start! So Were same haha. Thank you for digging deep on this BTS history. Were all with you! Kudos on your interviews with other reactors, have watched them and hopefully you can add to your list QOFYGANG, he is nice and genuine as well. This time you will meet a JIMIN bias lolz.
24:54 okay so about being gods/goddesses; high above you, in my opinion do not really accurately apply to how Army feels ab BTS tho, we feel more like family. Before BTS most groups/idols did cultivate a more "elite" high above you image. BTS went the different route, and now next gen idols seems to have chosen the BTS way of connecting w/ their fans.
I'm sorry to have to go "early". It was definetly time for bed. 😉 To V's story: this is a quote from "The Future of Music Issue" of "Rolling Stone" BTS Nr. 1352 June 2021 (which I had to search for and type of): V, a fan if jazz, classical music, and Elvis Presley, with a distinct baritone, ended up a Big Hit trainee by accident, after showing up to support an auditioning friend. He was a "hidden member", who didn't appear on camera in the endless vlogs and other ingenious online promotion that preceeded BTS' debut in June 2013. "I actually can't understand it whatsoever," he says now, with a laugh. "Why did they do that? Why was that the concept? I really had no idea!" (Si-hyuk belatedly offers an answer: "We needed momentum to announce that the team called BTS was finally complete. V had great charms in terms of appearence and personality, so I thought it would be impactful when he was revealed last. It was an effective strategy in forming the team's overall image, as well as leaving an impression of each member.") Snatching up trainees almost never happens. You'd have to buy out the contract the trainee is under first. Not to mention that if you leave your agency it will leave the impression of disloyalty and that can be a problem later in the career. In SK the need of the group overshadows the interest of the Individual still quiet often: If you were disloyal back than why should I believe you will honor your contract with me? But I'm also advertising *bby* *gang* *mag* and his video essays. They are all good. But you may be interested in his video essays "BTS vs K-Pop" - which has a section with the definition of the word K-pop and a bit of music history but also what makes BTS interesting - and "why you are wrong about K-pop" and the following video essays series - they disect the "The Dark Side of K-pop" narrative and it's arguments. You nice! Keep going! 💜
Hi! Was not aware you were going live earlier. Next time. Looking forward to the AMP Theory...these guys are funny...but are sweethearts through and through.
53:55 I don’t mean this in a disrespectful way, and I might be wrong, but I always get the sense that you don’t really vibe with JK. And it’s fine, we all have different preferences, it was just interesting hearing you say it was Jimin you didn’t initially vibe with. I didn’t get that impression at all. Full disclosure though, JK is my bias so maybe that’s why I felt that.

Such a good series, i literally devoured it and am now sadly waiting for the next chapter since I HAVE NO PATIENCE!! You will definitely learn so much and love them even more (it's possible. Just saying)
The Rise of Bangtan Series is a series created by ARMYS (our amazing fandom). Aneesa is the sole editor but she works with other ARMYs to create this series. Its all done for free and basically they have gone through all the past videos of BTS to explain their rise from the beginning and how they became a worldwide icon now. So its really interesting to see their growth, especially for someone who is being introduced to BTS and what they stand for. Of course, its impossible for her to include everything, but I HIGHLY recommend that you watch it. It also shows how BTS and their company Big Hit is different from other KPOP groups and companies. You may not realize this straight away, but its a comparison of how BTS had freedom and write/ produce/ compose their own stuff so they are not "manufactured" idols that people portray them to be and shows how they are authentic and the kind of relationship they have which is why they have lasted this long and why they have a fandom of this size! Hi, I am back. Great reaction, ty. Love this series as well. So glad you finally started this. I really wanted to know your thoughts. I loved the dairies and music. The info about Korea and the training. Most of the members spent years together training as you saw mentioned in the docu. Jimin spent 6-8 months only training before debut. Yet, they love him dearly. They would not be BTS without all the members u know. This is a great docu. I love learning new info about BTS. Another reactor Reed Reacts did an interview with Aneesa the creator of this series. You should check it out. We get to learn how she became Army. =0) This one was powerful and emotional. It's a great ep. Love learning about Kpop and how BTS is different. I hope u understood they performed their songs like 8 or more times per week for months. That is why they trained on a treadmill. The competition is no joke over there. BTS is 9 this year. =0] U missed JKs info. U asked a ques that the ep. answered. I suggest U rewatch this after the live. Re-watch on your own and just read. There is so much info here. On 1st watch i had to pause and rewind and read. But i really wanted to know so I did it for all the episodes. Hugs. Borahae! stay safe. #RealOne- 2019 ARMY NY USA 💜 Tracy Dowd said on 7/14/22 I don't think other Kpop groups did vlogs for their fans at that point. They relied on their agencies and the fan sign events. They did covers of songs, and just Vlogged their daily life, so they could communicate with their fans. It happened organically, all the fans they got, by being genuine, and caring about the fans. At this time in 2013, Jungkook (JUNG-GUK) the youngest, was 15 years old (born 9/1/1997), and JIN the oldest, was 20 years old (born 12/4/1992). If you hear them say they are 1 to 2 years older, they are talking Korean age. RM was 18 (born 9/12/1994)
I’m an OT7 as well, but once had a different bias every week (RM was my first, then Suga). Along the way, Jin became my true bias, but JHope became my bias wrecker, even before JITB came out. Ultimately, I picked JHope because of his personality, & Jin as well. I actually wasn’t really into rap & JHope’s style, but I am really getting into it now, especially because I love him so much. John, if you haven’t already, you may want to become familiar with their Korean names also because ARMYs tend to use their names interchangeably, such as Namjoon is RM (but Roscoe calls his bias Joonie), Yoongi is Suga, Taehyung or Tae is V, and Hobi is J-Hope. I use Hobi a lot cuz it’s easier to type.🤣🤣I think Hobi is more of a nickname because his real name is Hoseok. I found this out the hard way because it took me two days to learn their stage names, & then people were saying Yoongi & Namjoon etc, & I was like, “who are they?” 🤣🤣 In Korea (& Japan), they usually say their last name first, then first name, such as Kim Namjoon.😄
My Jimin heart is still bruised from you saying he was the last and hardest one to accept towards OT7. 😫 I know that was in the past… but he’s my bias and the one that grabbed my attention from the start. I feel very (over) protective of him. 😅 that being said… I know what you mean and I know you’re OT7. 😁
🥺I know and honestly I could go back and kick myself for not giving him a chance sooner I just had my own ideas on him before I did. Now he’s legit one of my favorite vocalist ever :)
@@JohnReavesLive it’s all in the process - I know. I probably had one of them as my final one in the OT7 too - just never realized it??? Not sure. But I think you had a more technical way of analyzing them given your musical background? I didn’t- I was just blown away by them the first time I watched, fell into the rabbit hole head first, then embraced them and never let go. No logical thoughts included. 🤣
Actually when you ask whether Jhope is bad at anything...I think everyone has their weak points, sometimes it's easier to spot sometimes harder. It's like with RM, everyone knows he is a brilliant lyricist, thinks outside the box, is super eloquent and allegedly has the IQ of a genius. Yet he is super clumsy and can't do some other daily basic stuff (at least from what we saw, after all, we don't see him 24/7 so we can't know 100%). But as for JHope, this is something I noticed recently while rewatching RUN BTS....he is not very participative. Be it escape room games or anything that requires creativity (or creating stuff) and thinking outside the box, he tends to take a passive role and just support his team mates, and do the bare minimum. I think that goes well with other situations where he just supports or helps put things into motion (like how, in the vacation/staycation shows, he would be in charge of cleaning, organizing, or waking members up). He tends to take a more passive, support-type role rather than an active one. He doesn't have other outstanding talents, skills, and hobbies like other members either. He shines and burns the brightest when it comes to music and dance, but when it comes to other stuff, other members might outshine him - then again, based on what they show us on shows. And that's fine, they are all different and have SO MUCH to offer, and it all balances out, and they are all amazing both together and separately. This was just a recent observation of mine and I felt like sharing it now. To me, actually, seeing their "weaknesses" makes them seem more genuine and relatable, rather than seeing them as perfect beings with no flaws, which doesn't exist... :)
Jin took my attention straight away, the fact that he had to learn to sing and dance and just worked so hard just to catchup. Then RM with his speeches and lyrics came for me. After that J Hope was just sunshine. JK was just a baby but so cute and l watched him grow up. Suga made me enjoy rap for the first time. Jimin’s dance held me in awe. Lastly V took a long time for me to appreciate him. I guess his random personality put me off, l loved his voice but his actions were off putting for me. However all seven live in my heart and l will be ARMY forever.
Wow I'm Nashvegas too, hit me up if there's anything I can do to help with your channel !! (I'm a lot better to myself too since discovering BTS, the ARMYS and a few really great communities of good people here on BTS related channels. We ROCK!!
Heck yes Kathy!! Nashville in the house! I love to see how many different walks of life ARMY has effected from an anxiety ridden metal singer to people of all ages all over the world it’s really a great thing to be a part of :)
@@JohnReavesLive It really is, I've talked to about every age group & country, a big goal of mine is to see them perform live one day. I'm hoping sometime this next year maybe they'll go on a tour. If they ever come to Nashville or a nearby city... or state... or country lol, it'd be great to connect the ARMYS who are going in the same area and have a meet up after the concert, if we can all still breathe, hold up..., on second thought, before hand would be better, I know my voice would be gone, for a good week after seeing them perform. I've seen channels arrange a little meet with their channel viewers/members too, at concerts, or nearby them. Have you seen yet what the ARMYS, the official membership, does for BTS's birthdays? You will not believe it, look into it when you have time. Love viewing the videos with ya! Keep up the good work !
Hi, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like you to activate the automatic subtitles. That's because I don't speak English and I use the "translate automatic subtitles" tool to watch your videos and streams By the way, I used google translate.
I think you kept missing the point, each episode has its own deleted scenes and extra content and you should, IMO, watch those, in order, at the end of each episode before moving to the next episode.
I personally have watched all the chapters in the series several times and the deleted and bonus content and I don’t believe it is necessary to watch the deleted scenes and extra content. The difference videos get their points across without it. In my opinion the creator wouldn’t have deleted the scenes if it was really necessary to tell the story. But I get the enthusiasm about people wanting to watch them and in order. ☺️💜
@@Raynstor.m you are correct. Deleted scenes and bonus content were most likely deleted for time and were not crucial to tell a comprehensive narrative. They're just additionallyb fun and of interest. 💜
Comedian Reacts would be good for a podcast. You both talk about mental health and ADHD. He's also been asking for recommendations for who to collaborate with, and I've seen people (I may have been one of them😛) suggest you!
sorry but this type of video would be better if you react to them without being in live stream, so you can read the subtitles 100%, I notice you missing a lot because you keep looking at the chat.
Could you please react to Crystal Snow by BTS? It would be great if you could also react to Jin’s Fancam of this one ... It is something beautiful and, having Jin as Bias, I consider this song and these fancam literally a blessing. 💜 P.s. sorry for any grammatical errors
One in your livestream had the name : "Suga is my pet Rock", it's really funny😂 do you know the meaning or should I explaine it to you? You seemed to like the name😊 And sorry in case my English sucks, it's not my first lenguage, I'm from Germany btw.
the whole idol group thing deserves to be in the kpop category because it´s the labels who create them make them shine and give them music to sing and dance to. but BTS and other groups who do their own music and also all the singers like IU and Psy don´t deserves to be called kpop either. for me IU is a asian version of ariana or something. but they also started to call japanese and chinese bands kpop and that is also wrong. the "nickname" needs to change. they could just call them by name and say it´s a south korean group of songwriters and dancers that wont throw people off when they first her it.
Dunno if this was clarified, but JK wasn't a contestant - didn't pass the selection process to appear on SuperstarK. He was a diamond in the rough little puppy when 7 agencies decided the casters were idiots and tried to get him.
John - just wanna let you know that soon, your channel will become too big, your comment section too long, and your DMs too full to respond to, or respond to right away. And THAT'S OK! Don't feel bad when inevitably you can't keep up with the volume up to your standards. This may sound patronizing, but I've seen dozens of channels blow up over the last 4 years, and you seem to thrive on the personal connections. I just don't want you to be hard on yourself. 😋
Video totally cut out at the end and here’s the live stream I did after th-cam.com/video/lVSx70v4DUo/w-d-xo.html
Please reach out to Comedian reacts for an interview
I m bit disappointed to not be able to be there for your stream aaarrrrgggghh !
I am watching it right now still not finished 😁 i have to go to work.
Just a question did you watch a Jared & Jordan reaction ? Or Shiki reaction ?
Both are interesting and so different !
- J&J are hypnotysing and they dissect a lot, really thoughtfull, calm and accurate. They are discovering BTS.
- Shiki is a ball of love, he LOVES the boys, he only react to them. He is an Army. And his laugh is everything i think you could win against him during a try not to laugh challenge 🤭
So that's why i suggest those 2 because of their admiration or love for BTS in a different way than Nico, Roscoe or Brian (and soon Jim and Taylor ?!) .
So far i love all the reactors you ve interviewed 💜

They didn't follow the path to becoming superstars, they made their own!
I never get tired of seen this episodes, seen them many times and loved them for their hard work, for their humbleness, caring, loving, and for being extraordinary, amazing, and one of kind young men. 💜💜💜
Burn the stage, break the silence and another third Bring the Soul
They are the Big Hit documentaries.
It seems to be a very important standard not only for Idols, but for all Korean people, and in a lot of asian culture. )
BTS and Big Hit was différent since the pre début.
Nota: for the ages, don't forget Korean ages are not international ages. So in january 2013, they have respectively : JK 15 years old, V and Jimin 17, RM and J Hope 18 (turn 19 in February) , Suga 19 (turn 20 in march) and Jin 20
Nota 2 : your chat desesperatly try to tell you that there is a bonus chapter and a deleted scenes episode for each chapter, and you HAVE to watch them just after the correspondant chapter, to make sense Lol ! it's complement each chapter .
I love this series.. Thank you for watching. You are Amazing!!! never forget that...
For real thank you so much Sandra and same goes for you!!
The way stars are made in Korea is the same ways sports stars are made in west. When someone wants it so bad, no sacrifice is enough. Thank you for your reaction.
By the way, ExCeleste is a very well known BTS documentary creator. She is one of the most amazing Army I have ever seen. 💜
I so need this, thank you brother💜💪🏻
*(Cr: "FY" on yt)*
I think it's important to notice the differences between BTS' worries and the other trainees worries.
*(Cr: "Shannon" on yt)*
Now plz understand this 1st episode shows two sides, one is typical k-pop system and how the labels/industry work, whereas subtle hints of BTS and bighit being contradictory different is shown, BTS is different from other K-pop groups and BigHit is different from other idol music companies.
Thanks for the awesome stream though it was cut off, still enjoyed it! See yah next stream!!
this was awesome, thank you for doing this. ARMY can watch this over and over again. it' so cool to see how they've grown and become their own and how close their brotherhood is.💜
Me encantó tu reacción..Gracias y saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷💜🇰🇷💜💜💜💜💜💜
:) Thank you so much!
Thanks for a great stream!! It was abruptly cut off, but was enjoyable to the end!! See you in the next video!
O finally welcome to BTS journey,,,this docu are amazing, keep going, i love this comunity, i love Army family 💜😊👌👍
So cool you'll have Talyor on !!!
To V's story: this is a quote from "The Future of Music Issue" of "Rolling Stone" BTS Nr. 1352 June 2021 (which I had to search for and type of):
V, a fan if jazz, classical music, and Elvis Presley, with a distinct baritone, ended up a Big Hit trainee by accident, after showing up to support an auditioning friend. It was an effective strategy in forming the team's overall image, as well as leaving an impression of each member.")
Snatching up trainees almost never happens.
You nice! Keep going! 💜
tks and I always like ur reaction a lot
Hi! Was not aware you were going live earlier. Next time. Looking forward to the AMP Theory...these guys are funny...but are sweethearts through and through.
Anyone else feel like Jimin's sing-songy "See throughhh" has the same energy as his "Oh Tonyyyyy"?
53:55 I don’t mean this in a disrespectful way, and I might be wrong, but I always get the sense that you don’t really vibe with JK. And it’s fine, we all have different preferences, it was just interesting hearing you say it was Jimin you didn’t initially vibe with. I didn’t get that impression at all. Full disclosure though, JK is my bias so maybe that’s why I felt that.
I missed your live stream. But I really..really enjoy this reaction so much. I hope I can catch your next live stream. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love this series! Are you going to react to the deleted scenes and the outtakes ?

Hugs. Borahae! stay safe. #RealOne- 2019 ARMY NY USA 💜

I don't think other Kpop groups did vlogs for their fans at that point.
Hi John, I wasn't able to make the live for chapter 3 and 4. Are you going to re-upload them? because the live got taken down.
Check his playlist "Rise of Bangtan LIVE", it's there but unfortunately it's been cut :c

Yeeess finally a video with LUKE from G.O.T GAMES mis favourities reactors and obviously destructive media
It’s funny hearing Jin’s voice described as deep in the comments … since he’s got one of the higher voices lol
chat is distracting huh 😅
That's because I don't speak English and I use the "translate automatic subtitles" tool to watch your videos and streams
By the way, I used google translate.
Aww this sucks thanks for stream though
Comedian Reacts would be good for a podcast. You both talk about mental health and ADHD. He's also been asking for recommendations for who to collaborate with, and I've seen people (I may have been one of them😛) suggest you!

It would be great if you could also react to Jin’s Fancam of this one ...
It is something beautiful and, having Jin as Bias, I consider this song and these fancam literally a blessing. 💜
P.s. sorry for any grammatical errors

Whos your bias?
One in your livestream had the name : "Suga is my pet Rock", it's really funny😂 do you know the meaning or should I explaine it to you? You seemed to like the name😊
And sorry in case my English sucks, it's not my first lenguage, I'm from Germany btw.
the whole idol group thing deserves to be in the kpop category because it´s the labels who create them make them shine and give them music to sing and dance to. but BTS and other groups who do their own music and also all the singers like IU and Psy don´t deserves to be called kpop either. for me IU is a asian version of ariana or something. but they also started to call japanese and chinese bands kpop and that is also wrong. the "nickname" needs to change. they could just call them by name and say it´s a south korean group of songwriters and dancers that wont throw people off when they first her it.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Dunno if this was clarified, but JK wasn't a contestant - didn't pass the selection process to appear on SuperstarK. He was a diamond in the rough little puppy when 7 agencies decided the casters were idiots and tried to get him.
