It's incredible how he looks invincible in this concert
he was practically indestructible
*they
drugs.
He was!
That's because he's on a half gram of meth
I think it's admirable that Lemmy never took any drugs in his whole life.
Haha
🥴😂.... ok
The fucker did more speed on a daily basis than an american consumes sugar
@@deletedaccount1939 joke went over your head huh?
While asleep maybe.
This could be the fastest version of this song that I've ever heard.
faster the better......
it is
@ Hiro Ishi
If you're talking in terms of tempo, HUH?? NO WAY
The "shortest" version is perhaps what you're looking for?
80 to 90s lives was fast paced, even other bands like Metallica
Tokyo Yankees
My aunt lived in a crappy apartment in LA and her neighbor was Lemmy. It's just funny that he probably had like millions of dollars but he decided to live in a crappy apartment.
Leedog235 From what I’ve heard, he stayed in the apartment because it was a walking distance from his favorite bar funny enough.....
I once lived in a 5 bedroom apartment and it sucked. Too much shit to clean
Extravagance just wasn't Lemmy, he was very down to earth
I read his son got his entire savings after Lemmy died and the total amount was around 200k USD. He had a reputation of spending everything he earned for booze and pussies. On some tours he had 3 hostesses guiding him throughout the entire tour... expensive habit.
all spent on drugs
Damn he killed it, singing that fast at the right pitch while playing, so bad ass
Yeah but you know musicians playing and or singing the same song over and over and then over and over again? And let's face it. Lemmy weren't Povorati either. His voice was as distorted and dirty as the Bass he played through a pedal. Then through a Matshall bass setup you can't even buy anymore. But totally unique and bad ass for sure.
Now as for a Mosh Pit? Really. Acting stupid and banging into each other don't make much sense to me. But each thier own I guess. Personally at a show I would rather see titties and a girl wanting to sit on my shoulders for a better view. But then again. I don't ever remember going to any rockshow when I was single that I didn't wake up with What's Her Name in a Notell Motel. But the boys in Mosh Pits are the equivalent of guys going to prom without a date. Big ol' L on the forehead.
Bad ass personified.
Phil Taylor on the drums is on another level.
Still he got kicked out a few years for “not pulling his weight” or something
He was on speed for sure.
😂😂@@timothydraper6626
2:24 -- I LOVE that vicious over-the-neck hammerstrike he gives the bass in the ending impacts.
Yeah that WAS the stuff right there.👍
Them Ricks were made to last my god he abused em ,. rarely failed
Phil: How fast would you Play?
Lemmy:Yes!
So happy I had the pleasure of seeing them live. See you later Lemmy.
hey i have the teddy in your pic too
rip lemmy
Me too, Donington ‘86, same line up
THE NEED FOR SPEED.. JK kids do drugs or drive cars toooo fast
The pleasure is to play
Ace of spades (slayer) edition
Hahahaha
Napalm Death version
"Well guys it seems your show time has been cut in half, you’ll have to remove songs from your set…"
Lemmy: "nah we’ll be fine"
1991 Nashville. "there's alot of songs written about Nashville but this ain't one of them". So glad I was there!
why did you comment this 3 times
@@nigel7779 said it's
I saw Motorhead live in 1986 and my ears are still ringing. Suffice to say, Lemmy was magnificent.
I've got permanent hearing loss from standing about 15 feet from a wall of Marshall 4X12 cabs during seeing nirvana at UB in 93
Worth it
Ace of Spades...another of those songs I can not resist...
RIP...Lemmy Kilmister...
Rest in Peace Lemmy, Philthy and Wurzel. Your music will always be listened and enjoyed by millions. You legends
Hell fuckin yes !!!
Lemmy clearly was on speed during this one heh
He was a motorhead.
Hes was on speed and acid
R0kushi fuck yes
Hey it’s called Motörhead for a reason
It’s called performance enhancing drugs :D
Whatta great tempo. This is how you play ace of spades!
exactly!
Jesus! I suddenly realize, while reading these comments, that ALL of original Motorhead are GONE!
God.... DAMN! The world gradually becomes devoid of heroes...
Damn is this is fast. This one gets the adrenaline pumping pretty hard, almost difficult to go back to the original recording.
♠️♠️🤘🤘✊✊💯
Yeah that is rough. I only heard live versions for about 8 or 9 years, then one day finally heard the studio version. Was a bit... lacking.
Theyre all probably on meth
God damn that was fast! It saddens me that Wizzo is the only one alive today. RIP Lemmy, Philthy and Wurzel! Whenever I hear thunder and lightning, I'll just assume you guys are doing a soundcheck up there!
What about Mikkey Dee?
LOL good one
@@TheOnlyHollywood1 yes Mikkey Dee is still alive
@@TheOnlyHollywood1 He’s talking about this lineup
Phil campbell?
Them drums like gunshots
The level of energy on this is undoubtedly very high. All thanks to Lemmy..
The most badass guy in rock ever. Rest in power legend
Holy s**t. That's Rock n` Roll O_o
I was never able to see them... Fuck my life
The one heavy metal band all Punks worshipped. LEGENDS
If someone asks me an example of what is Rock 'n Roll, surely I play this video.
That might scare some people off lol.
@@AnnaLVajda Good.
Technically. This is the first song that mixed punk rock with heavy metal together. Creating a new genre.
To me this song is even more iconic than trooper as amazing as it is
Both Amazing
I saw them in April 1987 in a bar in a strip mall in Long Island. Very rainy night. It was the classic lineup Phil just re-joined. Maybe 300 people there..We were up at the bar and Lemmy walked up to get a drink, said hi , “enjoy the show lads “ and he went to the stage . Remember ack then these were the hairband days. These guys were caught in some kind of time warp , of what there future might be ,,,
This performance rocks.
As of 2021 ,only Phil Campbell is the last man standing...😕
Fucking legend. Rest in peace Lemmy, you God.
Thanks Lem, You magnificent Bastard.
"... I don't want to live forever"
Rest In Peace good friend of ours
In the late 80’s, early 90’s, everything sounded faster and more brutal. Let’s call it the original sound.
We are Motorhead, and we play Rock and Roll!!🎸🎸🎵🎶✌
This is the speed I want 🤘
My mum went to see these guys live in the 80’s and when they came out the entire crowd was chanting “louder” it took 4 weeks for her ears to stop ringing
lol that reminds me of my dad he talks about he was in a cover band throughout the 90s he said they played loud the louder the better to this day at 58 currently he hearing still isn’t exactly 100% I’m honestly surprised he didnt go deaf but I have an idea of how loud these kinds of concerts were when I went to a random rock concert when I was 14 with my mom in mid 2017 I felt my entire chest and the ground I was sitting on vibrating the entire time it was an outdoor venue I was about 20 feet from the stage I still think about it today at 20 it was epic!
Смотрел эту кассету в 1990,досих пор кайф это музыки.
Phil"Philthy Animal"Taylor the one and only and will forever be the original Motorhead drummer and to me the best one they had( no disrespect to Mikkey Dee, as he is an awesome drummer in it`s own right) it`s just that Philthy had such a groove and aggressive playing style just suited the music perfectly! \m/ Rest in Peace Philthy and may you, Lemm, and Wurzel have one hell of jam up there!
I agree, he was the best drummer in the band. Mikkey is very good too but he is more a metal drummer. Phil was more a rock n roll drummer. And like Lemmy said,Mötorhead plays rock n roll.
up there ?
@@petteritolonen2354But when Mickey came into the band they went more metal
wowwwwwwwwwww amzing guys
God damn I miss the 90’s I was young, broke, high as F and having the time of my life 🤘🤘🤘
Best live drums version, an ethereal energy surrounds that performance, incredible.

Cara, olhando esse vídeo do Motorhead me fez lembrar o show deles no Maracanãzinho 1989 🤘🤘🇧🇷 foi foda !! Mas minhas saudades eternas ao lemmy fique em ☮️
Lemmy had a pitch and tone of his own, it's called "The Kilmister" and he was the only one who could pull it off. Legend
One of the best songs in history. No doubt.
The best rock star ever!!!
Unfortunately we never gonna see such bands anymore… arts, generally, are in trouble nowadays..
OMG...look at how fast Lemmy is picking that bass
British music. Can't beat it.
The world owes me a Motorhead concert🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Рубятся пиздец как мощно. У нас в Ташкенте в 90е такие же зарубы были на рок концертах. Мне было 14 лет, был полный ахуй!!! 🎉😊

Ja
Lemmy é sensacional
Thank's Jason !!! Great live . Motorhead it's a lifestyle
Cara, olha esse batera mano, super frenético nesse show
You will live forever
march 1990 Liverpool university I first seen them and still have ringing in.my ears to this day
One of MOTORHEAD’s most popular tunes, “ACE OF SPADES” is an ode to gambling and risking everything for the thrill of the game.
LEMMY told "Rolling Stone",
"It’s still very popular. When we do it onstage, everyone loves it. But when we wrote it, we were just doing an album. It’s just fucking another song. I thought it was pretty good, but I didn’t think it was that good. So I have no special memory of writing it. It’s got a “tap-dancing part,” you know, Phil [Taylor’s] solo. When he called it that, there was a big debate: “Are we going to take it out or leave it in?” And then we left it in. I was surprised when the song took off. It’s no better than all the others.
.... I did a bit of gambling back then, but I don’t have any good gambling stories; I have lots of bad ones. I’ve lost a lot of money. I used to live on the seaside in Wales, and that’s all there was: There was a gambling machine in the local caf'. And they had a jukebox at the same time, so I was all set up. I’m not a poker player; I play slot machines. I’ve been playing them since I was about 18, when you were getting into bars. I don’t trust any form of gambling with people involved in it; I like the machines better."
The audience were the same people who saw Metallica live, Metallica ended up dumping thrash but lemmy and motorhead were here to the rescue
considero essa a melhor formação do Motörhead lm/
Com certeza 🎼🎼🎸🎸🎸🎙️🎙️🎙️
