Taking the new DCS built in VOIP / radio filters for a test run with this video! Had previously been using SRS to generate the effect for external shots. What do you guys make of them?
Missed these campaign videos, thanks for the upload. The voice clipping noise sounds pretty distracting in headphones to be honest, sounds very digital. Just curious as I haven't played 2.9 yet, is that one of the default presets voice of the Hornet radios or is it custom?
Only recently started with the DF campaign. I always played the mission and then watch you do it to see how it should have been done! I just finished M4 a week ago and was bummed to see you didn't continue. This is the best news I have received all week and good timing as well haha! Thanks for your effort and amazing videos! Can't wait for the rest!
The latest update has borked most of these missions and Baltic Dragon is going to re do them all. If you've got it to work excellent I will enjoy this I love your RO vids!. Also what the cocking hell is a mistle? Personally I use Missiles... ;-)
Can you tell it's been a while haha! In the outro shot of my landing, you can see me hitting the power, clouds of smoke each time repeatedly, but she really didn't want to go up. I'm wondering if i stumbled into an oddity of the wip wake turbulence burble effect, or my aircraft really was damaged... hah excuses :)
I have a few comments… First off, you should have created a hard deck, and a distance limit. I wouldn’t have crossed his bow so slow and so low. You were a sitting duck. Next, you were way too heads down. You got an altitude light and a warning. You didn’t react to both. Next, you were way too close. If you cross him it has to be a show of force cross. If you’re going to reconnaissance him, then take pictures at about 500 knots. Those things have computers to tell you when to take pictures. Next, you should have taken the correct defense or offensive weapon systems. I would have ensured I had a plan if they knocked me around. Clear with magic and get to moving. Next… you got shot and you didn’t react to it, or even check for damage. It’s useless if he got you, you wouldn’t have even painted him. I mostly didn’t like going close or even cross a ships beam without a plan, this included emergencies. Aviate, communicate, navigate, then blow up shit. So… things I could have done different. 1. Hard deck. 2. Distance limit. 3. Cross bow at 500 knots or higher altitude. 4. Evaluate aircraft after getting shot. Don’t wait to set the target. 5. Stay heads up, use the SA page and leave it, okay the Olympics with the other two DDI/CDU’s. Just my opinion…

It's the default Comm1 radio filter for the Hornet, i may make a custom version based on that and tone down the effect a little.
Compared to your voice and the AI, it sounds like a bent radio. I think SRS is a better fit.
I HAVE to get my rig set back up. Haven’t played DCS in a year since house flooded in hurricane, after seeing 2.9 I’ve been really missing it

Perfect timing. Just started mission 4 myself. Been stuck in DCS 1944 for a year. Now back in the Hornet, and so are you 😂
Great seeing you back! Do you have a get back on your game routine/drill?
To your question, I i prefer your straight voice minus the radio effect :)
Nice to see you back.
Glad you're back, man
"oh....he shoots.....but just lets fly straight, he wont hit us anyway".... KEK

Did I see all the LSOs jump overboard shortly before you "landed"? 🤔😲
