I have the All Access 24RK and the thing I love the most about it is the light color palette. I absolutley believe it makes the whole 5th wheel appear larger than life!
Your videos on the 30RLS are great! We were planning to get a 30RLS and were very disappointed when it was discontinued. We got a little excited that it was being replaced with a similar sized unit, so we drove from Louisiana to see the 29RL prototype and if it would work well for us. We like that the rear living portion is basically the same as the 30RLS. - The main change for us is the 10 cubic ft fridge vs the 16 cubic ft fridge. We think the 10 cubic ft fridge will be plenty big enough for us and will use less power when dry camping in the National Parks. It would be much better if it was accessible with the slides in. - Thanks for pointing out that the window by the dining table is not as tall in the 29rl vs the 30rls. We did not notice that when we went through the unit. It still has a lot of windows in the real living section. The bathroom is not as open as the 30RLS, but still fine with us. Kim pointed out that she did not like the shower squeegee door, but we have had one for seven years and love it. We were a little concerned with how well it would hold up in our current Grand Design, but it has been great! The bedroom is the biggest tradeoff for us, Schwintek slide versus more storage. - We currently have a Schwintek slide in our Grand Design and has worked well (knock on wood) for seven years! That said, I always wonder when it will stop working. I am happy that the 29RL does not have a Schwintek slide. - The 29RL bedroom storage with the in wall dresser (3 drawers) and hanging closet is more than our current rig and again works for us. We bought a Grand Design 2500RL travel trailer seven years ago when we retired. It has served us extremely well as we travel 3 to 4 months a year in it. The 29RL definitely has more storage than our current rig, except one area. The pickup bed !! We put our folding Lectric bikes, fire pit, generator, etc... under the hard tonneau cover and my biggest concern is how to bring the bikes in the 29RL. Overall, we like the 29RL enough to put it at the top of our list.
Awesome, thanks for the detailed report, glad you see the value in the living area, the rest of the rig will be just fine based on your comments, look forward to hearing about your continuing journey to becoming Allys, let us know if we can help in anyway!
Very disappointed that they are getting rid of the silver oak! I really loved the original decor as it was something that was light and bright also something different from other brands out there but now its like so many others! :(
I appreciate the addition of some more wood color, yet IMHO, it remains an overall bright interior. The removal of the WD slide helps target the smaller, lighter target market. Those that want the additional space are better served by the 32RLS. Alliance continues to evolve with new models and features in attempt to have an offering that appeals to different customers.
I purchased a 29rl as the weight was right, the interior color, and just ticked a bunch of boxes. I know people are complaining about the refrigerator...but if I had to replace a larger residential version...may have to remove the slide in order to replace it... probably not with the smaller unit... it is big enough for me. We didn't like the pass through bathroom...but to each his own. Anyway, we bought ours the same place as the Tyer on the road crew...
Awesome, welcome Allie!! If you are interested here is a trip for you, come and join us for the 4th annual Pacific Northwest Alliance Allie Rally in Canyonville OR, here is the link: www.rally4pnwallies.com/
I agree, I love the 29rl. It will be our next rig. I like the fact there’s no slide in the bedroom, lighter and less chance of leaking. I also like having the darker wood cabinetry.
Alliance better start stepping up! I wanted to move up from my Delta to the Avenue 30RLS because of the floor plan next year. My wife and i love the bedroom/bath sink slide, and now you’re discontinuing it now😢 All the Alliance lines look the same, brown, brown, brown. Here i come Brinkley!
I have to say, interior finish is getting better with time. The white interior is a love hate thing and with that said a small percentage like the brighter interior and we are in that statistic!
@@tyersontheroad2607 I couldn't be more happy for you guys, I've always felt like your channel deserved a much larger footprint for the hard work that you put in and the quality information you convey. It can be so challenging for us smallish channels to get any kind of elevation. I have been banging my head against the wall reaching out to literally hundreds of people looking for a break. It has restored my faith in good old-fashioned gum shoe leather burning to see you guys get a scoop like this. I'm very very happy for you. I hope this translates into momentum for interesting topics and fun videos for you guys to shoot.
Thanks for that, we appreciate it, glad we do it for fun and not counting on making a living at this!! Our goal is just that some people might find some entertainment and an escape from all of the world's issues for a few moments out of their day!
Great video! We are looking at a new 2023 Avenue 28bh. It has the white cabinets. We love the look and wonder how they are holding up? Love your videos as well live in Northern California and love seeing the places you travel to. We need a new truck and fifth wheel hitch. Do you have a video on that? Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Awesome nice rig, we have not any issues with the white cabinets. No truck videos, sorry, there are a lot out there though, my $0.02 worth though is pay attention to payload, every truck is different and is shown in the driver's door. This number can be exceeded very quickly! Our neighbor has a brand-new 5th wheel hitch for sale, he bought if a few years ago but never purchased a trailer. Probably get a good deal on it, email us at tyersontheroad@gmail.com if you want pictures of hitch.
It seems the 32 RLS is the choice for those who miss the 30 RLS. I appreciate the change to the 29, other than the refrigerator. I would prefer the larger fridge. Thanks for the video.
The 30RLS hit pretty much everything we would want in a 5th wheeler. Light colors, open camp side views, north south bedroom, and under 35 ft. Really think Alliance missed the boat on this.
The interiors colors are a real let down. They are to dark as it is. This is just about saving money in manufacturing and making it easier to build with less choice for the consumer. They are turning into just another rv manufacturer. Was looking forward to going to alliance. Just lost that desire. Looking like they are going backwards with 2018 interior colors now in all of them.
Agree it would be much better if the fridge was fully accessible while traveling. That said, I plan to be "George Jetson" and push the slide button for 5 seconds to allow access to the fridge when shopping at the hundreds of Walmarts we visit across the country for groceries.
I wanted an Alliance Avenue because of the Light and lively interior...now feels like everyone elses interior. 😢😢😢

Great video. I still absolutely love our 30rls!!! So glad we have it. I guess we have a vintage one now. 👍🏼👍🏼😊. We love our Alliance!!!
We love out light interior on our 32RLS

I’ll be 100% honest. They lost me immediately when the fridge got DELTA TRAILER SIZE!
I'm glad we bought our 23 30rls. Wouldn't change it for anything!!😊
Indeed!
Too bad. The 30RLS hit pretty much everything we'd look for in a 3/4 ton towable 5th wheeler.

And the beautiful closet and dresser is gone...so sad!!! Maybe a Cougar or Rockwood now. 😢
Thank you for your comment. I own a 32RLS with the light interior. Please share, what are you looking for in an Rv? Trying to learn

I actually like the 29rl better, no bedroom slide and I like the brown cabinets. Not everyone likes white cabinetry.
How did you scoop this exclusive?????? Very impressed
Right place, right time!!

Excellent video!
Thank you very much Rich and Becky!
GREAT VIDEO John and Kim. Thank you !!!!
Like Nathan said, I get it (the colors) ....but I still dont like it :)
LOL to each their own!

Right!!, I know where there is a 30RLS coming up for sale if you are interested, I can pass along info!
@@tyersontheroad2607 Thank you, we found one!
Bring back the light interior!!!!!! The brown is terrible.

Thanks John, Kim and Ab the godfather for the information. I get it, but I don't like it😉
Me neither
Totally useless fridge when traveling.
