    I’m running my welding and fabrication shop now for two years and it has some serious ups and downs but I have faith that if I just keep going forward I will be able to make a helpful and informative video of my own one day. Thank you for your advice I will keep everything you said in mind for years to come!

    When you said "being the best", I immediately gave up my dreams, I suck at everything I do. I better get used to the poor man's life, lol.

      its all in how you look at what your not proficient at. well first , consider your self as not being a super human and look at how other people solve hard problems. your attached to being the best , which you will suffer from .
      but if you look at it as you learning something that is out of your current knowledge base and taking steps to grow from there , then you can start . imo , you dont need to be the best but you can be unique and have a specialty which people pay for

  • @markbrandon7756
    @markbrandon7756 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not a video tech but maybe adjust the setting for the width , have no idea maybe its the phone instead of camera. Your shop is nice show recm'd show that shop in wide field view if that is even what its called.... Good luck on barges etc.... R/ Iron Fever

    You sound like me. I'm very much anti debt, buy used and start simple. My only question is how did you start this with only $300? I can't get a welder for that much

      I would take my deposit on the jobs to buy equipment. Never took a actual pay check for 4 years. Hard way to go. Starting to take debt on now with bigger equipment purchases. It’s a tax game also. Good luck.

    • @randal3122
      @randal3122 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i started with all used equipment too. for me it was all about only buying equipment i needed for production, or equipment that would massively boost production that i needed to keep up with my backlog of work. and i constantly pushed to do more and more work, but always in a responsible way in which i would keep up with schedules. there are two things i always made sure to avoid, and it has treated me very well. 1. never have slow periods. 2. never have angry customers. it caused me to be busier than most would be comfortable with, but also caused me to hire more people and implement more equipment and technology
