Well Matt I'll say one thing, I think you gotta be the best dressed rancher out there. Always got nice crisp clean clothes, looks like Kari put the iron to em.
I admire so much what it takes to get our steaks, burgers, etc to the store and our table. We take for granted that we can we just go into the store and pick up a pack of meat. We never see the hard work that goes into it.
Morning Matt. Boy the West Sale Barn sure looks a lot different from when I used to live in Aberdeen. I worked there back in the 60tys in the Summer time.
I just had an amazing ribeye steak and smoked brisket Mac and cheese. My family and I sure appreciate the hard work our ranchers do to keep us fed with healthy beef. Thank you sir.
So have you had any cougar or mountain problems ? Calves that just disappear ? They have made a big comeback in Iowa, Amana had a couple killed ten years ago, South East Iowa have a few on game cams so I do believe. A cow calf producer has lost a couple calves, 1 carcass vet inspection, Mountain Lion kill. Deer are so plentiful the DNR may be involved because of insurance claims and the Governor wants them lowered ! Stay safe man. Great videos. Do you plant vernal alfalfa or perineal variety ?
Very few sightings of cats here South Dakota has a season with a quota. Have planted both types vernal works good if you are grazing/feeding cows on it in the winter thanks for the comment
Funny story I respect for beef farmers … in the Us your make money speak money every day but never ask number acres or cows to any farmer/rancher … either @sonnefarms @ranchingsodak …. in France and Europe this not secret but we never disclose or salary .. the opposite … 2 different worlds and I love us beef farmers and dairy farmers …
I just noticed when you pulled into the gas station your gas is about sixty cents cheaper than what we pay in Pennsylvania. We pay the highest tax in the country and have the worst roads in the country. Go figure.
Your such a fun program to watch. It’s evident you love what you’re doing. I especially like your polka music. Makes me laugh😂😂😂

Pretty impressive what these culls are bringing right now. Be a nice check for the summer when these rejects leave in June here.
Had a 2300 lb bull bring $1.73 at Wheelers last week.
Cool I had a 2450 lb bull bring Like $1.93 Like 3 weeks ago.
So how much did your cattle go for??
Love the assisted living joke but I nearly choked when I realized you had to sell that many cows to afford 2 new atv tires
Have you used the pto on the turbo Farmer for anything yet?
Not yet

Had to stop myself from doing the polka.

Weld some metal to that wagon to make a shoot so you ain’t gotta use your hands
How many cows do you guys own?
You don't never ask somebody how many cows they have
That’s like asking someone “how much money do you make?”
The person who commented second, you are a copy cat
@@FarmChanneIsome of these guys are over sensitive. Lol. I run 250 pairs myself. Give a 💩 who knows.
Too many to feed and not enough to sell
Hi
You don't ask a rancher how many cows they have. That's like me asking you how much money you have in the bank.
How many acres do you farm?
@@ildairyfarmer2436lmao 🤣🍻👍
