These shoots are so valuable for all of us that either haven’t visited these places or cannot at the moment. Very informative and inspirational ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you so much Milly, I really do appreciate it. I’m struggling myself at the moment with being locked down so can’t get out but fortunately I have a few episodes pre recorded to get me through. Really pleased you you enjoyed it and got something out of it
Thanks so much for watching Rhonda, I really appreciate it ! Really missing it too and fed up with lockdown now ! Let’s hope it’s all over soon and we can get back to enjoying it
Hi Daniel, another inspirational video and another location for me to try once we are free to travel! Thanks so much for taking the trouble to make and produce these VLOGs, t really is appreciated in these times of 'lock down'. Cheers, Andy
Thank you so much for watching and commenting Andy, I really appreciate it! I can’t wait to get back out again, lockdown is a really testing time isn’t it and you don’t realise just how much it takes it’s toll on you when you can’t get out. Hopefully by the end of February we will be able to start visiting these places again
I like that Dan, a lot. After years not taking photo's I am just about to start up again. These TH-cam videos have given me so much information that I had absolutely no idea about hopefully this time round I will take a few decent photo's and not so many non descript snap's. Thanks for your content and advice Mate.
Thanks so much Roly, I can’t tell you just how much I appreciate that ! It’s really hard to get any momentum on here but it makes all the difference when you know people are enjoying the content you work so hard on. Thanks so much for making my day Roly and good luck getting back out there and nailing some belters !
Great vlog as usual Daniel. What fantastic countryside. It brings me back to when I visited Kimmeridge Bay in 2019 before Covid. Love the drone work and the music. The location and photo are both excellent. Well done, F.
Thanks so much for watching Ferg, I do love that area ! So much potential for days with really good light but it’s always so windy up there usually ! I’ll deffo be making a return trip there at some point though !
Thanks so much for watching Stuart ! I’m so lucky to live here, Dorset is stunning on the coast and the countryside, really couldn’t ask for a better photography location
Thanks Daniel, this was really useful. I love to shoot panoramas with my 100-400mm lens, and as you said I put it on manual, BUT what you said about also taking the white balance off auto will be a game changer for me - and it explains a few odd results I've had in the past.
So pleased it’s helpful for you mark, the key is complete consistency across the shot so nothing changes. White balances in auto are a nightmare, I always switch mine according to conditions and it keeps it uniform. Remember not to use a polariser either, it makes all the difference ! Thanks so much for watching Mark
Thank you so much for watching John, it’s so tough not being able to go out anymore so it’s nice for me also to watch these back and remember better times !
Great location mate, it is odd that it’s so over looked though? Beautiful shots, let’s hope we’ll be able too get down to the coast again soon! (I think I’m all caught up again now 👍🏻)
Lovely panorama mate, and very useful tips. 👍 - I don't own a pano head, but I find lightroom can do a pretty good job blending images, even handheld although you do lose some pixels where it lines them up.
@@CharlesPalmerPhotography Id say it’s easier on a long lens than a wide angle but it all depends on focal length and how wide you pan, either has the potential to cause issues
Another place on my list of photo locations I need to visit! I'd not thought Swyre Head was going to be interesting place until I saw your panorame ... question ... when stitching the panorama images, did the cloud movement between the shots cause any issues? Thanks, Colin
Thanks so much for watching Colin, Swyre head is beautiful but really requires a long lens to get the best out of it in my opinion. The cloud movement isn’t really an issue as i shoot these scenes fairly quickly so it’s pretty minimal movement and as I’m overlapping by 2 thirds the blending process is made much easier.
These shoots are so valuable for all of us that either haven’t visited these places or cannot at the moment.
Very informative and inspirational

Thanks so much mate, I never understood why it was so neglected? Maybe the walk or the need for long glass ? But either way it’s so worth the trip !

@@DanielWretham and I guess at 400mm that gets more tricky. 👍
