I've just ordered one of these in Australia (so cheap in the US - I paid $40 Aussie dollars which is about $27 US). I've carried a similar sized knife for around 20 years, and have been searching for something similar, in case I ever lost mine. Knives this size are so handy. Small enough to not get you in trouble. I've used it so much over the last two decades - cutting string, opening bags and boxes, etc etc, it's just so handy to have a little knife on you. I bought the Kershaw Cinder first, but I find the blade a little short - still a nice little knife though. It's a shame the Diode doesn't have a bottle opener like the Cinder does. If it became my every day carry, I'd be tempted to cut off the flat head with a hacksaw or grinder, to make it smaller. I must admit, I am tempted to retire my current knife - I have had it so many years, I'd be gutted if I lost it now after all this time. Maybe time to upgrade with the Diode. Good review, and looking forward to mine turning up.
It's a super useful little blade. I personally really enjoyed using the flat head end a lot. It's definitely one if the better small knives I've ever used. I hopenit meets your needs.
Thanks for the review, I carried a Cinder in my keys and I loved how inconspicuous it was when whipped out in public, but I lost it and was about to get another one when I saw this video. Seems to me like it’s the same size when closed, but a little more effective blade length, I’ll definitely get one.
The flat edge on the back of the Diode is the exact reason why I bought it. I have the black and copper Cinder and I am going to grind down the keychain hole to form a tiny flat edge.
I must have missed it, I know that the Cinder is a 3 fingers handle due to the added length of the choil, would you say the Diode is a 2 finger handle? Or it is a marginal 3 fingers knife in your opinion?
Bought this for my keychain, looks like the perfect size

Yeah, it's an awesome little blade. I actually found the flat head super useful.

That is one tiny little guy.. 🇺🇸🤠
Yes it is. Would make a good coin pocket knife, keychain blade, and a stocking stuffer. But it works good at basic task.
@@MoosesGearGooReview never seen one before.. appreciate you sharing
