I'm old enough to remember the row of shops which were pulled down to make way for the Strand. Not sure it was an improvement.

Was there ever a farmfoods in the strand? I'm sure there wasn't but some people say there was🤷🏻‍♀️

Not sure....but I don't think so....there's a heron....but I don't remember a farm foods...but I may be wrong 🙂

@@croaghigh4627 For some reason, I do remember seeing a small Farmfoods where the now TJHughes is. 10 years ago I was a kid in The Strand back in 2012, it's been so upsetting to see it go. I can just remember the Tesco Metro before it shut down.

I dont remember a farmfoods, but there used to be something similar called "Cool Trader" and Heron bought them out.
