True but the hard dk method has some flaws. We see in the training video doing stuff such as very delayed smash attacks and such at 50. Only petering and ironing out after some locals with other players. Granted the amiibo becomes very versatile in various game modes when given that training during the impressionable phase. 1v1 dittos do require character knowledgeableble. My Ryu raid boss is pretty strong. I gave it the Instadrop trait, which allows it to do insane combos where it insta drops rapidly across the stage, and does an aerial after each instadrop. At the end of the combo it usually uses Ryu’s ability to cancel aerials into specials to end it with a shoryuken, making a devastating zero-to-death.

The nature of the amiibo doesn't change. The reason you turn learning off is because you don't want your amiibo to pick up any bad habbits. Amiibos will use a move more when they hit an opponent with it. So let's say I own a King Dedede Amiibo. I teach it fighting but don't turn learning off. At some point in it's life, the amiibo will land an F-smash(for example), and when it does, it'll think it's a good move because it landed a hit and will start to F-smash more. King Dedede's F-smash is very slow and because of that it's not a good move to use. That would slowly ruin your amiibo and that's why you turn learning off. By doing that it'll use the moves you taught it and those moves won't change. It won't pick up on the F-smash. Hope I cleared that up. If you have any questions, By all means, Feel free to ask. To be fair to him, Kirby’s one of the most difficult Amiibo to train, just because his AI is so weird. If you use up-B one time for anything other than recovery, the Amiibo’s going to start spamming it like there’s no tomorrow, and it’s downright impossible to teach it to use inhale. Not saying I don’t want one, but Kirby is downright infuriating when you try to train him.
The Illusionist Being dedicated to training good amiibos, make the amiibos raid boss potential. No training = no good boss From personal experience if Kirby ends up spamming it just use king K Rool and hit down B every time Kirby Up-B’s, and he will learn to stop

Thank you for this little guide on how to make my amiibo a Raid Boss! I decided to re-train my Sephiroth amiibo and now he's an actual killing machine. Quite literally, may I add. He got me up to 58%. The only amiibo that is actually able to defeat and go toe to toe with him is my Level 50 Joker amiibo. And when these two fight, they go back and forth. Sometimes Joker will win. Sometimes Sephiroth will win. And their Tourney/Team Battles with me is insane!
“You could also give them super armor, but that makes them incredibly slow.” Me, having farmed 12 golden Mario spirits: “Nobody’s born cool. Except, of course...”
Question: My method in training AMiibo back in Sm4sh days was to" - have the amiibo face their LV 9 counter-part until they are LV 11 - play their character and use as much combos and metor smash until LV 21 - do a 1 v 1 with a ground character once, then do a 4 player free for all twice - Repeat Step 3 with aerial characters - Repeat Step 3 with heavyweight - Free for all with a grounded, aerial and a heavyweight - Use your main against the amiibo. - Whatever level is left over, have a friend who is a pro face it until it is LV 50. - Make sure the amiibo always loses in these battles -Once they are maxed, applied modifications When doing that, I find the amiibos to be very tough in the end. However, in Ultimate, I find that the amiibos level up very quickly and I find the amiibo likes to jump a lot, which doen't help with making it stronger. Seeing your video, I wonder whats your opioin on having the amiibo face other character while it is leveling up vs having them face them at Max Level... and if so, is there a way to merge the two training ideas?
My strongest Amiibo KingDedede and his name is (Drum Role Please) Fluffy Duck. I know I know the name is just to great to be heard by mortal ears, but I forgot how to change the name
Okay, Choctopus. You have to make an incredibly powerful Wii Fit Trainer amiibo, and you have to call it "The Sun" that way we can all Salute The Sun™.

@@t3rrablox582 well it's actually not too difficult since ganon hits like a truck. Before I tell you though I'm going to give you the run down on amiibo stats. An amiibo with no support spirits can have a stat total of 5,000 or 4,200 with three support spirits. You're gonna want his stats heavily favored to the attack stat so around 3.2k atk or higher and 1k def or lower. Have a physical attack support spirit and a shield dam support spirit. With that shields will be like soap bubbles to your ganon. That also leaves you one additional slot for a support spirit. Speed is a good one but you can do whatever you want for the last slot
I have found another interesting way to train your FP. Stages can be utilized in forcing the amiibo to avoid death. If you create one difficult enough, It will learn well
Can't wait until the Joker amiibo comes out so I can decimate my friends with "Go To Bed" the Joker + Morgana amiibo. Stat boost + aerial/smash attack damage up because of the Morgana spirit.
My strongest Raid Boss amiibo is my Ridley, which I gave it more attack than defense, and gave it faster movement speed, better jump height, and stronger special attacks.
Thanks for the info, I trained my first raid boss being offensive and made its power 2800 and defence 2100, I honestly think that since it was a ganandorf I was training characters that are really slow like ganon they can have higher strength and.... it keeps spamming up tilt, like literally almost all the time, like I didn’t spam up tilt I only used it a few times, thanks!
So what you’re saying is I have to play as Greninja. Ick. (As a Pokémon fan I easily recognize Greninja as overused. Before you ask me why I have the amiibo then, it was given to me as a gift at a Christmas party)
I said this before, but thanks for showing me the true power of amiibos and inspiring me to train my own. I've got 6 right now and I'm thinking of making a Battle Arena to see how they fare against the rest of the world. My strongest one at the moment is my Bowser, which is no suprise considering he's my main. However, I've also got a Ridley who does a lot of stylish edgeguards and techs, and my new Incineroar is looking pretty promising. I'm hyped for that Raid Boss invitational. Thanks for the tips, and keep it up - you're doing God's work. (Well, if God wishes for the death of mankind at the hands of AI)
I feed my amiibo first, then train them. I feel like it helps them get used to their stats and gimmicks quicker. Oh also I have every amiibo but no platform to advertise tournaments on any idea there on how to get started?

If your a normal person with a life, yes
But if your a lottery winner with a Gold Mario spirit, normal speed with S T A N D E R E D S U P E R A R M O U R
Amiibo reaches level 50=you start playing in a team
Moral: if you cant beat it then join it
It’s 2019 and choctopus does not have a kirby raid boss bruh :(
Edit: also choctopus I love ur channel, if you use this idea please use a name like BigSucc or TheSucc or something (if you want)
We need a Kirby raid boss
Name it oatmeal
To be fair to him, Kirby’s one of the most difficult Amiibo to train, just because his AI is so weird.
If you use up-B one time for anything other than recovery, the Amiibo’s going to start spamming it like there’s no tomorrow, and it’s downright impossible to teach it to use inhale.
Not saying I don’t want one, but Kirby is downright infuriating when you try to train him.
The Illusionist
Being dedicated to training good amiibos, make the amiibos raid boss potential. No training = no good boss
From personal experience if Kirby ends up spamming it just use king K Rool and hit down B every time Kirby Up-B’s, and he will learn to stop
The Illusionist however I respect ur opinion and u get a like on ur comment
Thanks! I’ve been a huge fan of amiibo and have been studying them to find the best way to train them and this is about what I was expecting. However, it was still a great video!
This is a really good guide to help you own a raid boss amiibo, but there’s just one horrible thing this guide can’t help
My lack of skill in this game
Someone please tell me a way to get good
Practice
Fight lv9 cpus, random works best, or if you’re planning on training a raid boss, play against cpus of your raid boss (still regular cpus)
@@Emanthebald I have been playing this game non stop since I was a child and I'm still bad
@@holczy0 Either the game really isn't for you or you're maining the wrong character. If you're having fun though, it doesn't matter
You don’t need to know the character to train that amiibo
Thank you for this little guide on how to make my amiibo a Raid Boss! I decided to re-train my Sephiroth amiibo and now he's an actual killing machine. Quite literally, may I add. He got me up to 58%. The only amiibo that is actually able to defeat and go toe to toe with him is my Level 50 Joker amiibo. And when these two fight, they go back and forth. Sometimes Joker will win. Sometimes Sephiroth will win. And their Tourney/Team Battles with me is insane!
“You could also give them super armor, but that makes them incredibly slow.”
Me, having farmed 12 golden Mario spirits: “Nobody’s born cool. Except, of course...”
A man of quality as well!
Gave my DK amiibo super armour, now xpanddong is a god.
I liked the Everybody Votes Channel music in this video. Great as always, Choctopus!
I have an op palutena amiibo, also what if I use a raid boss against ur raid boss?
Question: My method in training AMiibo back in Sm4sh days was to"
- have the amiibo face their LV 9 counter-part until they are LV 11
- play their character and use as much combos and metor smash until LV 21
- do a 1 v 1 with a ground character once, then do a 4 player free for all twice
- Repeat Step 3 with aerial characters
- Repeat Step 3 with heavyweight
- Free for all with a grounded, aerial and a heavyweight
- Use your main against the amiibo.
- Whatever level is left over, have a friend who is a pro face it until it is LV 50.
- Make sure the amiibo always loses in these battles
-Once they are maxed, applied modifications
When doing that, I find the amiibos to be very tough in the end.
Alright, here comes my boi dedede (AKA *SUCC* )
I can't wait for Banjo & Kazooie amiibo and turn them into the ultimate Wonder Wing killing machine
My strongest Amiibo KingDedede and his name is (Drum Role Please)
Fluffy Duck. I know I know the name is just to great to be heard by mortal ears, but I forgot how to change the name
It's all good, I just used my mortal eyes to read the name. Thankfully TH-cam hasn't doomed us with comment text to speech or I'd be fucked right now.
Okay, Choctopus. You have to make an incredibly powerful Wii Fit Trainer amiibo, and you have to call it "The Sun" that way we can all Salute The Sun™.
If you give your Amiibo the Gold Mario spirit, they will have super armor and will not be slowed down.
I think that would make the amiibo way too overpowered...
How do you get gold mario spirit
@@caden_b You have to summon it with a Metal Mario, Super Mushroom, and Fire Flower Spirit.
Thanks
Damn this got me thinkin I should buy my first amiibo... great vid man!
Also turn your head east and be on the lookout for my smoke signals, it's my preferred form of communication
I got my ganon amiibo to break shields with f-air and dash attacks and I've seen him do 121% dam with a smash attack
Jules Windu PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN MAKE MY GANON BOSS DO THIS
@@t3rrablox582 well it's actually not too difficult since ganon hits like a truck.
If you create one difficult enough, It will learn well
"I don't like to make my raid bosses too strong" Haha my bowser has almost 4000 attack and negative defense...
My bowser has a 1 up mushroom and metal mushroom
Add super armour and then it will be nearly, if not, ABSOLUTELY unstoppable.
FINALLY a proper amiibo guide
My raid boss is a green Ness named "Deku" he is a good Boi.
Pee Kay fiar
My Raid Boss is Pokemon Trainer and its called "Kevin" he is a spammer
Can't wait until the Joker amiibo comes out so I can decimate my friends with "Go To Bed" the Joker + Morgana amiibo. Stat boost + aerial/smash attack damage up because of the Morgana spirit.
Yeah, it's going to be a little hard to train my Lucas as I bought him to be cool like everyone else. (Not because I use him)
My strongest Raid Boss amiibo is my Ridley, which I gave it more attack than defense, and gave it faster movement speed, better jump height, and stronger special attacks.
Raid boss Hero will be the end of the world.
Mah man that'll be mr game and watch. Nines of destiny
OH LAWD NOW HE’S COMIN
Chotopus: Start with an Amiibo of your main.
Me: (Laughs in Byleth, bitterly.)
Will you do video of your raid bosses challenging other people's raid bosses
This helped me raise my Cheeto amiibo to the best of my ability, thanks!
My strongest raid boss amiibo....
*IS ME.*
Wow. You couldn’t even take out a cigarr smoking cuban. I think i’ll stick to Hard DK
@@wanegently LMAFO
Thanks for the info, I trained my first raid boss being offensive and made its power 2800 and defence 2100, I honestly think that since it was a ganandorf I was training characters that are really slow like ganon they can have higher strength and.... it keeps spamming up tilt, like literally almost all the time, like I didn’t spam up tilt I only used it a few times, thanks!
1:46
Now I want to see ZeRo against Hard DK
Hehe
Thank you so much! I love training amiibo😊😊
I can't find a smash ultimate donkey kong amiibo, so will a new wii u Donkey Kong amiibo work?
Smash wii u and 3ds amiibos work with ultimate
as long as character is in the game, even the skylander cross overs work.
Thanks Choctopus I bought my amibo and was wondering how to train it. Thanks so much and maybe one day I'd would like to see your raid boss beat mine.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind being enslaved by my raid boss Ryu
You now have 200k subs : )
I'm currently training my mario amiibo
Good luck! I recently trained my Kirby :D
So what you’re saying is
I have to play as Greninja. Ick.
(As a Pokémon fan I easily recognize Greninja as overused. Before you ask me why I have the amiibo then, it was given to me as a gift at a Christmas party)
Make a name that strikes fear in people's hearts.
Me: ad revenue
thats scary
2:28 good thing you put "not acual gameplay" because i thought isabelle was fighting ganondorf
Please do Ganos or pumpkin vs hard dk
Never have i clicked so fast
Nice
Same
I am thinking about getting a piranha plant amibo and this was a big help
What if you had a raid boss and its lvl50 for ultimate but you don't have a switch
This is my life in a nutshell (still plays smash4 in 3ds)
Me a Sephiroth main two years later still waiting for my Amiibo…
I feed my amiibo first, then train them. I feel like it helps them get used to their stats and gimmicks quicker. Oh also I have every amiibo but no platform to advertise tournaments on any idea there on how to get started?
start making vids
Touch butts
Silently hoping for a Jr Raid Boss. I'm trying to train one, and this video was very helpful :)
Me: (looks at my 100+ amiibos that are nearly impossible to beat) haha no more flashbacks pls
Hey chocto (hope I can call you that...)
I just wanted to say thank you for getting me through some stuff in my life. You never fail to make me smile with dumb jokes and somewhat outdated memes. I’ve started training my own raid bosses after watching your guide, which made cloud nearly unstoppable (seriously, the guy got over 100 K.O’s against online amiibo) its giving me a self esteem boost seeing hard work paying off. I know you will most likely never read this, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Garren
6:44 bruh what about the super armor that doesn’t slow you down
Minimik75 the spirits that give super armor all have that drawback
@@CCuppy29 Gold mario doesn't slow you down but it takes 3 slots
My son Luigi has left many scared for life
so when I feed it does it eat the spirits or do I still have them afterwords cos I'm not tryna sacrifice my kaptain k for an amiibo that might not even work 😬
It eats the spirit, but you get a core. You can use the core to summon more spirits, good spirits.
oh ok cool!
This guide is fantastic my Joker amiibo will become the ultimate Stand User.. wait wrong franchise
Step 1 be good at the game, well I guess I'm out.
I imagine amiibos could also be a good way to train yourself. As by it learning from you, you’re effectively fighting yourself.
Yo I’m the first comment lol
Thanks to you, I made 2 Raid Bosses so far:
Pokemon Trainer (Master)
Ryu (Beyblade)
Thanks Choctopus, I will keep going until I have all my amiibos as Raid Bosses.
Which spirits do you used to feed your Pkmn Trainer Raid Boss?
@@joshgalindo8755 I have already forgotten, but I know he has Shield Attack up. I have also made 4 new ones:
Wedding Mario (TuxeNO)
Link (Dunno why but his name is Tobuscus)
Ridley (Space Lord)
Pac-Man (Muncher)
one time my dad bought 2 inkling amiibos but before we could train them my dog ate them
Damn, looking at this video 7 months later, I now have 15 Amiibos and more coming. All are level 50 and decently tough to defeat. Thanks for the advice once again
Good! Now i can start training my raid boss Sonic amiibo!
3:46 lol that second pause for tht 10mm
