When you are about to win, they use a skill that purely knocks down. You can guess where that leads if you dont predict it right and block with at least someone.
Actually, they do an all out attack if you don't do a certain amount of damage in a certain amount of time. You can beat the twins if you're good enough.
If you don't do at least 4000 damage within, I forget how many rounds. Meaning if you get them close but you haven't dealt the 4000 damage after that, they'll say screw your effort, bitch.
you know....it's kinda weird when they push joker to defend joker and all like dramatic too..... but..... it get so anticlimatic when they literally take 6-13+ damage......and my side bones is gone

It's insta-kill, indeed. Like Zanmato in FFX or like Zantatsu in MGRR. I remember it's works on generic enemies. But when it comes to sub-bosses, he only damages them.

He didn't, and that's exactly what they meant. If Akechi's ranged weapon were to be a bow and arrow, then the culprit would have to have it too, and it would give it away immediately. A normal gun is more common and less suspicious.
I wish the follow-up and backup attacks were just slightly more common. I have tried getting a few in a row a couple of times, but mostly I just go very long periods without seeing one. I don't even think I got to see them all on my normal playthrough.

I had Makoto jumped for me and had 1HP withstand (guess she could've died on that hit too)
They only push you out of the way if you were going to die though. As little as that may sound, it would have ended you right there.
In my game, I only had it once and it was Mona jumping into a curse insta-kill aimed for me and goes from full to 1hp

He didn't, and that's exactly what they meant. If Akechi's ranged weapon were to be a bow and arrow, then the culprit would have to have it too, and it would give it away immediately. A normal gun is more common and less suspicious.
I wish the follow-up and backup attacks were just slightly more common. I have tried getting a few in a row a couple of times, but mostly I just go very long periods without seeing one. I don't even think I got to see them all on my normal playthrough.
I love it when you get the random phantom to knock doen the enemy.
