Rolex spends more on advertising than any other privately owned company . They are excellent watches . But you must bring the watch into Rolex every year for maintenance . $500 . I'd rather have a super clone about $650 to $1500 US
Some buy Rolex for the flex,some buy for status. It really depends on what you want from your watch. Personally I don’t own any expensive watches and would spend a max of 300-400 bucks for one.
