Thanks for making these videos. After watching a bunch of these, I decided to get an lct 440 pure, and it arrived today. I did some auditions with it today, and got my first gig from one of those. Thanks!
Glad more usb dynamic mics are hitting the market, for majority of new streamers and content creators the usual condenser mics recommended in guides are awful without a decent room setup/treatment. Dynamics are so much more forgiving. I'm jealous of the usb c connector, the MV7 using a micro cable is criminal
The more options, the better. Also, the micro cable was weird, but I think they did it to have some continuity on all their motiv mics. Still, would have been nice with USB-C.
To my ears, the AT2040 USB actually sounds better than the Podmic and the MV7. It feels more neutral in the lower mids. There are still better sounding mics, but in my opinion it's absolutely useable for a podcast. But of course, audio is very subjective!
Thank you so much for the comment. In the lower mids I agree it is more controlled and less bassy sounding. For some people that will be what they prefer and others will like the more beefy low end. If someone enjoys the sound of this over the other dynamics, then I have no doubt they could make a great sounding podcast with it. This channel is first and foremost about letting people hear the gear that's being covered, and then admittedly, me nitpicking the gear. The average consumer who Is just watching or listening to a podcast or TH-cam video most likely couldn't tell if you were using a $20 XM8500, $150 AT2040USB, or $3700 U87. I think the selection of a mic comes down to personal preference, feature set, and if the microphone will make your production easier. Also, that's what's so great about audio in my opinion. There are a lot of people who understand it's subjective and are all about supporting people in finding the right gear for them and there's very little elitism to it. Thanks again for the comment.

The hypercardioid dynamic USB mic market is pretty small but growing, and I think that's a good thing. I can see a lot of people in noisier environments (like an apartment building or dorm) using something like this as a plug-and-play solution to streaming or podcasting. I wouldn't use this for voiceover, but the reasonable alternative is a headset and this blows most headset mics out of the water.
@@McMilesE I don't think it makes sense to use a USB microphone in a treated space, the USB conversion will always result in an unacceptable loss in audio quality. You need a real audio interface to get an appropriate A/D conversion.
I gritted my teeth listening until you showed the factory response. I hear that 8dB mountain all over the place. Painful and unlike any AT mics I have known. Interestingly, the analog output sounds the same, protecting the dignity of the DAC inside. I honestly don’t remember any mic so extremely hyped, and hyped right in the ‘don’t go there’ zone. A giant, sharp boost in the 3kHz area should scare the crap out of any mixer. AT’s legendary build quality deserves a much better home.

Such a great review and so few likes and comments. I wanted to do voice-overs for my videos. I was deciding between the AT2020 and AT2040, and a sound engineer I know recommended the AT2040 since I don't have a specially prepared room for a condenser mic. I purchased the XLR version of this mic in Europe for about $90 and the Presonus Audiobox 96 for $100. I don't think my voice has ever sounded so great. I am actually very satisfied.
Glad to hear you have a mic that you like the sound of for your voice. That's what matters most when selecting a mic to record yourself. Happy recording Ruben.
I thought the sound was _fine enough,_ but there is a *noticeable* hiss on the AT2040USB compared to every other mic you showed. I prefer the sound of the Q2U or the ATR2100, and at half the price, it's an obvious recommendation for recording on a budget!
Yeah the sound is fine, I just wan't a fan of it. And there is a LOT of competition in this market for USB Dynamic mics, so I think a microphone has to offer something pretty special in order to stand out. The Q2u cult exists for a reason. Yes it's limited in function and specs, but 8+ years later it still holds its own.
Actually think the 2040USB sounds better than the XLR. Or maybe I’ve lost my mind and they sound the same. Either way, it’s fine. I really think the Fifine kicks its butt though. And the Q2U just keeps proving its worth - a shame they haven’t updated the USB on that because it really is solid as heck.
Unfortunately it's often a case of "what will this sound like when I personally use it?" Which can never be answered even by the best of reviews; you really have to get the mic and judge for yourselves. I enjoy your channel immensely--but I'm currently using the XLR version and it sounds fantastic going through a cloudlifter and preamp--although I'm really happy AT decided to make a USB version as well, which will be hella useful for people wanting a little less gear on the go or who don't want to drop coin on a Scarlett Solo. Does the SM7B sound better? Yes, but not 4x the value better, which is why the AT is probably the best overall value from a price-to-quality ratio.
It’s all to each their own. If the mic works well for your voice and your preferences that’s amazing. I include all the samples so that no one has to trust what I say or even listen to my opinion. It is not at all a bad thing but a preference choice. I have been criticized for liking Audio Technica mics, and the RE 320. But it all I suppose is personal preference. Thank you for doing these videos.

I loved the acoustic guitar sample today! Nic Cage is a glorious freak - I forgot to go see Renfield in which I think he's going to be amazing as Narcissistic Nosferatu. What headphones are you wearing? The green cable marker always catches my eye.
Thank you very much Lyvvie. I've been using the Rode NTH100's because they're so comfortable and don't bleed as much as my HD650's. I only use them for tracking though. When it comes to critical listening, the 650's go back on.
I'm not sure. I haven't seen an Audio-Technica XLR & USB mic before so I'm not going to hold my breath that they release XLR, then USB, then XLR&USB. But maybe so.
Isn’t the k688 have the zero latency mix dial? Also this is my first time to buy mic and fifine k688 and audio technical at2040usb-X which is better to choose?
Nice acoustic playing there Bandrew, you went a bit Kristin Hersh for a moment. Another excellent review, entertaining and informative. By the way, did you ever discover your own Audio space as promised by last week’s Tonor? Take care mate
Another great content 🤌🏼. Idk but USB mics really are not for my taste, they have a bit of self-noise from the amp (idk how these mics work XD) that when I am using my headphones always bothers me :/ This is no different unfortunate, great mic, but like sure MV7, the hiss is almost inaudible. The Eletro Voice, at least for my voice and regarding to XLR dynamic mics, will always be the option XD. And as always, the music part OMG is always great ❤
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on it. It seems that on these all in one devices, there are compromises made in order to keep costs down and that sometimes leads to higher noise preamps. Glad you found the mic that works well for you.
Just listened to the last 2 dynamic mic reviews and it's pretty comparable to the K688 and EM99b. Each mic just seems to excentuate a different frequency of the keyboard, but the Voice to Keyboard noise seems comparable.
I want a convenient USB (preferably Type C?) mic that is around the $50 price tag and sounds decent. I am perfectly aware that I can't expect top studio quality out of it, but ideally it should sound good and professional with some post production. Bonus point if it doesn't pick up noise. Main use case will be to record spoken voice (not much singing, no instruments at all). Any suggestions or am I asking too much? Just trying to be reasonable :) Thanks.
The Maono PD200X ($60) or the Fifine K688 ($70) that was featured as one of the sound comparison mics in this video. They're basically the same feature-wise, with the PD200X pulling ahead slightly because of the optional Maono software, optional LED/RGB ring, and black & white variations. But again, these mics are so similar in pretty much every aspect that it's really just down to which you find most pleasing aesthetically. I suppose a "bonus" alternative would be the Fifine AM8 ($55) if you prefer the form factor on that one.
As far as $50 with USB-C....that's hard. Razer Seiren Mini I think has USB C but it was also kind of a proprietary connector that fit into the mic. The K688 was USBC, I wouldn't recommend the Tonor TD510. off the top of my head I can't think of any other USB-C mics that I've covered that are around $50. I believe that ObscureMics has done a lot of videos on the more affordable USB mics so there may be some good recommendations on his channel.
Many thanks everyone for the replies. After further research, I came to the conclusion that what I want is a super cardioid (or hyper cardioid, I believe these terms are synonyms) USB dynamic mic. Coincidentally, this AT2040USB ticks all of these boxes. Raising the budget from $50 to $150, do I have any other choice other than this mic? I mainly would like my mic to pick up as less background noise as possible, I realized that's kinda the most important thing for me, close second is convenience (hence the USB part). Thanks again to whoever will try to help me. Great channel Bandrew!
@@DouglasWhitcomb Every mic suggested in this thread so far, with the exception of the Razer Seiren Mini that Podcastage mentioned, ticks those boxes for half the price of a 2040, if not less. And to be quite blunt the 2040 has subpar sound quality for the price point, a sentiment that most reviews seem to echo, including this one. Unless you're truly in love with the aesthetics you can do better for cheaper. When I stumbled into this space 3 years ago looking for a microphone I did my due diligence and came up with a list of wants/needs similar to yours but it was slim pickings. At the time a 2040 would have been a godsend but now it doesn't even rate because the competition in the "budget" range is absurd. Affordable, USB, dynamic, and solid noise rejection - that's what you're looking for. Which is exactly what I suggested earlier: Fifine K688 or Maono PD200X. They even look nice. These are the kind of offerings I was searching for 3 years ago. Shit, you're actually in luck. The Deity VO-7U just went on sale for half the normal price on Amazon: $85 for just the mic or $100 for the microphone + windscreen + boom arm. As long as it remains at that price I'd absolutely put it above the former two. Don't take my word for it though, plenty of reviews for all three.
I love/hate your videos. I'm content with my Rode Podmic (Which I watched your vid before buying) which I upgraded from my Shure SV200 (Which I also watched yours before buying) but watching your content makes me wants to buy... just in case 😏 I'm passing on USB mics on that tho, USB mics just sound grainy to me 😂
Only upgrade with a purpose. Don't buy just to buy something, buy to make your job of creating music, podcast, videos, etc. easier. That's what these things are, tools. Keep rocking and rolling with the gear that you have until you have a reason to upgrade. (or unless you have a bunch of money and it just brings you joy, then do whatever you want. Haha.)
To my ears it has the same problem that many USB mics and that is often not mentioned. The hiss level is noticably high, which makes the sound after some compression terrible if there is no proper denoise used. Especially if someone is a quieter speaker.
I don't necessarily think $150 for a USB mic is a ripoff. I just think you need to know what you're buying, why you're buying it, and if it's the right choice for you. If you're just willy nilly throwing $150 at a bunch of USB mics then that can add up quickly. $150 for a mic for voice calls at work that will work for 8 years would seem like money well spent to me. So I think it's a bit more nuanced than $150 being a ripoff for a usb mic. But I do appreciate you sharing your thoughts on it, it's always fun to hear.
i thought i was deaf! youtube makes all mics sound the same on cheap speakers. the headphones output with the crapy sound card in the laptop improved a little, but, finally, I got some good headphones with a good DAC and listened to the m4a file and heard the difference. initally, for voice, at2040 sounded great, like u87, but the music test broke the mike especially the acoustic guitar. it sounded like a tin bucket, souless. great comparison!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I don't know if I'd class this anywhere near the u87, but that's what's great about audio, we don't have to agree. If you think the sound is similar to the U87 you could save yourself $3,550 and get this instead. Happy recording.
The more video's I watch the more confused I get about all the different microphones. My speakers aren't the greatest and they all sound exactly the same!! o.o
I haven't heard of that company, so I don't own the mic and because of that don't have any plans to review it currently. Thank you very much for the suggestion though.
I did a video on connecting USB mics to cameras, and that would be through the headphone output. But I really don't think it's the best option because if the headphone amp is at all noisy or if the camera input is at all noisy you're going to be introducing that into the recording as well. I think recording the mic to your computer and then syncing the audio & video in post is the best option. I know many people don't like the idea of this (I actually fought it for a while), but then I learned how easy it was. Here's a short that I made covering it: th-cam.com/users/shortsSoEqx11g9NQ The only thing that I would change is that you shouldn't sync the recorded audio only to the video's wave form. You should then verify that the visual component of the video matches up with your audio because they can sometimes differ.
I do not own and have not used the Persons Audiobox Go so I am unable to offer any advice there. I highly recommend checking out Julian Krause's review of the device: th-cam.com/video/KSsOw690GMM/w-d-xo.html
I was trying to think of words to describe what I did not like about this mic when I first heard it. I was thinking upper-mid nasally, almost AI-generated, sort of. I like they way you describe it as 'artificial' - that is kind of what I am hearing as well. Also, at times the esses can be piercing. I prefer several of the other mics you contrasted against. Some of those less costly mics are serious competition. Sadly, I rate this one as 'meh'...
Glad the description was helpful. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on it, and I agree. My personal preference would lead me to some of the other options if I was recording. If I was just doing conference calls with this, then I might consider it...but I have the USB Audio Technica headset for that, so I have no reason to change.
At2020usb+ has a higher pickup pattern than the 2040, if you’re recording more acoustics go for the 2020, but if youre just doing voice go for the 2040
With how competitive the microphone market is, I'm really surprised that nobody has anything that out-shines the V7 or SM58 (in terms of sound) until you get to the $400 price range. Not that this mic is horrible, I think it sounds "ok" but it sounds noticeably worse than the V7 imo.
The thing that shocks me is that I don't think that sE Electronics even beat the sE V7 with their broadcast style mics. If they could have thrown the V7 into a broadcast body and charged $120, $130....GET OUTTA TOWN!
Thank you for watching and sharing your opinion on the mic. It's always awesome seeing people with different opinions and preferences discussing the gear that's covered. It's a good reminder that audio gear is incredibly subjective, and we don't all have to agree on everything. Happy recording.
How long does a typical baseball pitcher last in the pros? I've been in the amateur league over here for 8 years just waiting for my chance. It's taking a toll on my body.
If you like the Q2u, then this mic won't really make sense unless you long for the higher res conversion and the mix dial. But I'm sure some people will prefer the sound of this as well. Thank for sharing your thoughts.
It's listenable for voice, somewhat pinched/nasal though not tiresome, awful on guitars. Seems like a great product technically otherwise. I thought the off axis coloration was impressive. I could see anyone video conferencing or streaming buying one of these. I wouldn't buy it for music.
Great analysis. Thank you very much for sharing. Yeah I think the way they handled the treble and air frequencies were nice, it's just the upper mids/presence that I wasn't keen on. But that's my personal preference and I think many people will probably enjoy it.
Yes I did. With all the tests and recording I do for these reviews, I normally film over 3 to 5 days so I change outfits normally. I just used to be more careful about ensuring I wore the same looking clothes. I don't care about that anymore.
They'll get what they deserve! DARN BOXES! I'll admit it, I just hold a grudge against boxes because in the past they were the vessels responsible for delivering me stickers.
He has made some great movies and made some fun ones too. I don't know if it's accurate or not, but I have heard people say that Nicholas Cage just says Yes to most things because he views himself as a working actor. That's why he's in such a wide range of projects. I loved him in National Treasure, Con Air, Face Off, The Rock, and stuff like that.
Oof, so much B A S S on my slightly bass-boosted headphones. Feels like that HPF is necessary for spoken word at least. I didn't like it without the HPF compared to any of the comparison mics - 4:10 wish you had a little longer test comparing with HPF enabled at a normal speaking distance vs the others. Really nice controls though and little details like the USB A to C adapter
Headphones that over exaggerate the bass I mean often they just kind of muddy everything up, if you want your headphones to sound like you're at a car stereo competition sure but for average listening they're not always the greatest in my opinion, I like to find headphones with a flat response that don't boost the base of the trouble or anything they just keep it neutral sounding, it sucks when the base is so overpowering it's drowning out all the details and I ended stuff in your audio
@@Podcastage To be fair, this is mostly the fault of my WH1000-XM3 - they are about +5 dB over neutral below 200Hz (RTings measurement). Quite a bit, especially in the 100-200Hz region, so they're likely emphasizing the exact areas this mic is already boosted in. With some EQ on my headphones it is better but I still don't like it.
Understandable, it's not going to be for everyone. That's why there are so many different microphones because we all have different preferences, we're all recording different sound sources, and we all have different requirements for our mics. As far as you being criticized for your preferences, that is insane. If you found a mic that you like the sound of for what you're recording and you aren't getting complaints from your listeners that the sound is painful or distracting, people should butt out of it. Happy recording!
I think this Neumann company might have a bright future ahead of them.
Yeah, they're a young up and comer, but they're promising.
I loved the acoustic guitar sample today! Nic Cage is a glorious freak - I forgot to go see Renfield in which I think he's going to be amazing as Narcissistic Nosferatu. What headphones are you wearing? The green cable marker always catches my eye.
I too would like to know this.
Thank you very much Lyvvie. I've been using the Rode NTH100's because they're so comfortable and don't bleed as much as my HD650's. I only use them for tracking though. When it comes to critical listening, the 650's go back on.
Are you able to use both the XLR and USB simultaneously? How does the USB sound vs the XLR connection. Thanks for all your reviews, love the channel!
This does not have an XLR output. This is only a USB mic with a single USB output so you do not have the option of using both XLR & USB.
Bet you that we'll see AT2040 with XLR & USB down the road. Funny how this company works, at least Rode willing to go all in with their new PODMIC.
I'm not sure. I haven't seen an Audio-Technica XLR & USB mic before so I'm not going to hold my breath that they release XLR, then USB, then XLR&USB. But maybe so.
Do you have any plans on doing a review on the Sennheiser MKH 50, SE Electronics SE8 or Lauten LA-120 V2?
I do not have the MKH50 or LA120 V2. But I do have the sE8 which I will eventually be reviewing.
I can't discover my audio space in a day, week, or even a year. This will be a lifelong journey seeking the true audio space.
Another great content 🤌🏼. Idk but USB mics really are not for my taste, they have a bit of self-noise from the amp (idk how these mics work XD) that when I am using my headphones always bothers me :/
This is no different unfortunate, great mic, but like sure MV7, the hiss is almost inaudible.
Honorable mention goes to the XM8500, still holding up beautifully against the pack. The 2040 usb, just meh for me. At 150, super meh.
XM8500 for sure still holding it's on. Pretty wild.
Am I crazy or is the background rejection of the keyboard sound was really bad with this mic?
Just listened to the last 2 dynamic mic reviews and it's pretty comparable to the K688 and EM99b. Each mic just seems to excentuate a different frequency of the keyboard, but the Voice to Keyboard noise seems comparable.
The presonus revelator dynamic is now $89 and is a crazy deal
Very interesting. Thanks for the head up.
No worries. It can do pretty much everything that the becn mic can
So, what other dynamic USB microphone would you recommend for vocals?
do you think you'll review the rode xdm-100?
I remember hearing that their software isn't available on Mac yet, so I couldn't review it even if I wanted to.
"Like New" (lightly used and returned) ATR 2100x is often available on Amazon at around 50 bucks, which is about how much i paid for mine.
Whats better for singing high vocals? At2020 usb xp, or at2040usb?
I love/hate your videos. I'm content with my Rode Podmic (Which I watched your vid before buying) which I upgraded from my Shure SV200 (Which I also watched yours before buying) but watching your content makes me wants to buy... just in case 😏
I'm passing on USB mics on that tho, USB mics just sound grainy to me 😂
Only upgrade with a purpose. Haha.)
Good beginner voiceover mic, with a treated space?? 🙂
I am not a fan of this mic. Do you like the sound of it though? Did you think it did well in the untreated space test?
shocked how much better the non usb version of this mic sounds side by side
They definitely sound different.
If you want a fancy term for the mic before the penultimate mic, the word you are looking for is "antepenultimate".
Thank you! If I remember, I'm totally going to use that!
Nice to meet you, I enjoyed the video. Curious about your headphone model!
Thank you very much. I currently am using the Rode NTH100 for tracking and Sennheiser HD650 for other kinds of listening.
@@Podcastage The headphones you are wearing in this video are from Rode, right?
With its good off axis rejection, you would save a lot of money on room treatment. Sounds reasonable :-)
To my ears it has the same problem that many USB mics and that is often not mentioned. The hiss level is noticably high, which makes the sound after some compression terrible if there is no proper denoise used. Especially if someone is a quieter speaker.
Yeah. That's the issue with a lot of more affordable all-in-one devices. To keep the price reasonable, the components aren't the highest quality.
@@Podcastage I was hoping it will perform a bit better as it's priced higher that Q2u or ATR2100x USB. But unfortunately $150 seems not high enough ;)
It sounds fine to me. I've heard way worse audio on TH-cam videos than this! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is there a gain control on the mic itself?
IMO $150 for a USB mic is a ripoff if your looking for a cheaper good USB mic just get a used Samson C01U it sound really good.
Black Rode Podmic was the best one.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on which mic was best. I always appreciate hearing what people enjoy the most.
i thought i was deaf! youtube makes all mics sound the same on cheap speakers. the headphones output with the crapy sound card in the laptop improved a little, but, finally, I got some good headphones with a good DAC and listened to the m4a file and heard the difference. initally, for voice, at2040 sounded great, like u87, but the music test broke the mike especially the acoustic guitar. it sounded like a tin bucket, souless. great comparison!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I don't know if I'd class this anywhere near the u87, but that's what's great about audio, we don't have to agree. If you think the sound is similar to the U87 you could save yourself $3,550 and get this instead. Happy recording.
@@Podcastage well, after 50 everything sounds almost the same. do I care?? not anymore, I just laugh, and blame the covid, lol
The more video's I watch the more confused I get about all the different microphones. My speakers aren't the greatest and they all sound exactly the same!! o.o
Can you make review on Yo-Tronics FX-508 for the next video please? It's made in taiwan too.
I haven't heard of that company, so I don't own the mic and because of that don't have any plans to review it currently. Thank you very much for the suggestion though.
If you want to use a mic like this directly into my camera is the possible or do I need to record into my computer and sync in post?
I did a video on connecting USB mics to cameras, and that would be through the headphone output. But I really don't think it's the best option because if the headphone amp is at all noisy or if the camera input is at all noisy you're going to be introducing that into the recording as well. I think recording the mic to your computer and then syncing the audio & video in post is the best option.
I know many people don't like the idea of this (I actually fought it for a while), but then I learned how easy it was. Here's a short that I made covering it: th-cam.com/users/shortsSoEqx11g9NQ
The only thing that I would change is that you shouldn't sync the recorded audio only to the video's wave form. You should then verify that the visual component of the video matches up with your audio because they can sometimes differ.
Do you have a demo from the AT4050? I'm interest to know how it sounds on guitars
I do not have the AT4050 and haven't ever used it so I can't comment on its performance.
So I have a question regarding Audio Interfaces.
Should I go for a Behringer UMC22 or a Presonus Audiobox go?
I do not own and have not used the Persons Audiobox Go so I am unable to offer any advice there. I highly recommend checking out Julian Krause's review of the device: th-cam.com/video/KSsOw690GMM/w-d-xo.html
Thank you!
Will you review the PodMic USB?
Yes. In the next couple of weeks.
Still waiting for the Rode Podmic USB reviee
You won't have to wait too long.
This or AT2020USB+ for sound quality?
I can't tell the big difference between mics you tested all sound about the same
"Negative, I am a meat Popsicle." Guess the movie that was quoted from.
I will admit that I cheated and looked this up. I should have known it because I really enjoyed that movie as a kid.
@@Podcastage Great movie. Thanks for the reply. And in case I didn't say it - good video - well done as usual.
You don't like how it sounds because it is simply ahead of its time. You will love it in 2040 :)
Guess you guys aren't ready for that yet....but your kids are gonna love it.
Sounds great
Thank you for watching and sharing your opinion on the mic. It's always awesome seeing people with different opinions and preferences discussing the gear that's covered. It's a good reminder that audio gear is incredibly subjective, and we don't all have to agree on everything. Happy recording.
My man bandrew is getting old when it comes to throwing boxes. We can feel the pain after the throw
How long does a typical baseball pitcher last in the pros? I've been in the amateur league over here for 8 years just waiting for my chance. It's taking a toll on my body.
Doesn't sound like it should cost ~$100 more than the Q2U.
If you like the Q2u, then this mic won't really make sense unless you long for the higher res conversion and the mix dial. But I'm sure some people will prefer the sound of this as well. Thank for sharing your thoughts.
This again highlights that that Maono PD100 sounds better than it has any right to
Yeah if you're down with the PD100 sound, then it's great for the price.
02:39 I think Nab'Gru should looks like thises all the times
said in a deep raspy voice and a thick new york accent
I don't know what NabGru means, but okay. Hahaha.
Here for my weekly doobalee doo. If you're in an apartment, do your neighbors mind that boxes get thrown around every so often? 🤣
The sound of a box would be the least of their worries around here. Ha.
I agree... sounds artificial in every use case. Sounds empty and hollow.
Not my cuppa tea, but I'm sure some people will love it.
Dammit should've waited before I bought an mv7x lol
Why is that? MV7x is XLR and this is USB.
He changed outfit at least 3 times in this vid 😮
Yes I did. With all the tests and recording I do for these reviews, I normally film over 3 to 5 days so I change outfits normally. I just used to be more careful about ensuring I wore the same looking clothes. I don't care about that anymore.
@@Podcastage "I don't watch these videos for the mic reviews I watch them for fashion tips"

The box was trying to take revenge over all it's comrades that were thrown away....😮😮😮😮... It Doesn't matter... Keep throwing them all!!!
They'll get what they deserve! DARN BOXES! I'll admit it, I just hold a grudge against boxes because in the past they were the vessels responsible for delivering me stickers.
the podmic usb Don't keep us waiting

Why does this mic exists?
People trust Audio Technica as a brand, people like dynamic mics, and USB microphones can be incredibly convenient.
I am not particularly fond of Nicholas Cage.
I’m from Taiwan lol
You mean China may it's people's republic forever endure.
Well greetings to Taiwan from the United States. Happy Recording!
Interesting. I didn’t find the bass overpowering on this. I thought it was pretty good sounding and punchy, but not muddy.
Thank you for the keyboard .. that is what i am trying to get away from ..
You're very welcome, glad it helped.
HAHA I am first - also nice throw.
Thanks for watching!
I don't like it.... I just don't like this one
Understandable, it's not going to be for everyone. That's why there are so many different microphones because we all have different preferences, we're all recording different sound sources, and we all have different requirements for our mics. Always appreciate hearing what people think about the gear in the videos. Thanks Danny.
To tell the truth, they all sound about the same.
Wow the maono smokes this mic at under half price
I personally prefer a lot of the other mics, but I'm sure some folks will like this more than the competition.
*patiently waits on the next tube mic review not evening caring what brand it is*🫠
We'll get there eventually....Got some Rode tubes and the LCT840/940 and some Warm Audio stuff I need to do too. Eventually we'll do those.
