Gorguts and Teeth those bands are imo the only dissonant death metal bands that matter….well done on this song but you never cease to amaze me with what you do as always thanks for the upload
Even though i don't listen to this band often anymore, and its really a type of band i feel like can be hard to replicate, you did a good job covering this song.
YES indeed. I was asking myself the same question haha! I bet the madman did it by ear. I'm pretty sure Luc Lemay uses a weird tuning and having seen him live, he uses all kinds of odd pick scrapping and scratching techniques to get the higher pitch sounds and notes. I don't think any of these techniques would be easily transcribable to a guitar tab, so either you watch him play, or you figure out your own way around by ear (and by using a pitch shifter pedal). :)
you should try tackling the das martyrum des solo. the artificial brain guitarist fully tabbed it out, took a minute to get into it but it was pretty fun especially with the following section

I like my riffs dissonant and upsetting thank you very much
Deathspell Omega, Ulcerate, Wormed, Artificial Brain... more covers of this sound!
🫡
this collab with Whammy Pedal is super cool, I'll have to check out more of their work
Dude I highly recommend, they have a great song called “Too Lazy To Retune My Guitar So I Pitch Shifted It Instead”
Freaking SICK. Gorguts really saved my 7 string ass during the djent craze, got into dissodeath for life with colored sands.
tone slaps
Thanks bro!!
@@SamMooradian i'll trade you samus tips for some tone tips xD
@@Andymositydude yes, absolute deal
This is not unpolished, dude. This is real and I love it.
Thank you!!

Colored Sands is my favorite Gorguts album! Great cover!

Great playing man! Gorguts has such a unique vibe.
'Colored Sands' is one of my favorite albums well played.
Sick song, playing, shirt, guitar. Everything
🖤
Man this is killer. Great work. And that tone is 👌👌
Thanks bro!!
tis indeed QUITE dissonant and dirty, love it
Considering this is scarily perfectly executed, I am terrified to ask - has this been done by ear or any sort of tab/sheet? Either way, YES.

I learned it from both! Mainly working off a tab I found, but I changed a few things and learned the harmonies by ear.
This is sick
More gorguts and Artificial Brain covers please
Thinking about an Artificial Brain album cover... yes?
@@SamMooradian that would be awesome! I don't have input for which it should be tho, I love all 3
Sick dude! Love this record. And I can tell you've been eating plenty of sludges and slimes, keep up the good work 🤘
Gotta eat your sludges gotta eat your slimes (seriously though thanks bro 🥹)
Man this is awesome, some real old-school style of covers here, not that overcomprossed 60fps bullshit.
F yeah, gorguts! Didn't know you were a fan
Big fan dude. Love them
Br00tal! Let's go! When you first played this on Twitch, I was totally into it! Beast!
Very cool👍 tasty sound👍

Notice the AB shirt. When do we get an AB cover?
I did Brain Transplant last year, but I’ll definitely do more!
Wow too crazy
