Tim Brett’s Haines Hunter V233 is old and rough, but he loves it. Especially now that it’s fitted with a new alloy hardtop and 300HP Suzuki. He’s on a trip with the boys to King Island, Tasmania.
Nothing like an old boat. Fish guts all over the place, bash sinkers on the side, nudge up close to the rocks all without a care in the world. I have an old but very robust 80s fibreglass hull. Im not afraid to take a jig saw to it when necessary and have made substantial modifications. I venture out into open waters chasing all sorts. A fishing boat and not a status symbol.
Allegedly there's an Island on the other side King Island that is is pretty much free of the fun police and has the same, if not better waters.... But Shhh don't tell everyone.

Do you think that hull would handle a Suzuki 350?
What length is she...6 meter??
It's a 233 mate which is 23'3" I'm pretty sure. Around the 7 metre mark mate
Actually around 7.5 metres.
