Simon was not wrong. Even I was able to here a pile of mistakes she made at the first audience. But it was maybe by the stress because later she was excelent.
I Think Simon was just being Simon. He admitted he was wrong later. I have listened to them both sing separately and there was something so magical about the combination of their voices together. I wish they would sing together again at some time. Their voices have matured over these past years and have gotten better. They are both amazingly talented.

Yes indeed , I remember the first time I heard him sing on that talent show when he was 17 I could see he was a major world tenor in the making. Someone only comes along once in 20 years. With a talent such as this and it is a great gift for us all to be able to appreciate his voice for many years to come.

But Jonathan has shown to be a once in a generation quality singer, who will some day be looked at as one of the great singers in history, mentioned right up there with Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and José Carreras. Still love listening over and over 10 years after BGT! I watch their original audition regularly, it a!ways brings me to tears and oh how they have both just blossomed.
She just finished her first album with contemporary and opera combined. I have no idea how the album is doing or if she has a lot of booked engagements. I think however Jonathan will go far with live performances if he can sustain the grueling travel of concerts and he gets the correct promoters and a pretty but talented girl to sing a few duets with for example Charlotte Church or someone along that order around Johnathan's age, and also have some guest stars and sing with them like Sara Brightman, and maybe even Jackie Evanco, however she doesn't have the singing power he has but for entertainment purposes the two could work it out.
I could listen and listen their singing magnificent so beautiful real artists such a talents. They will never loose audience they will singing for the rest of their lives, not like other cheap so called singers just for 1 or 2 seasons with no voice just selling their body, Jonathan is a next Pavarotti.Thank you for the music.

Just came from that video also and the thing I like the best was in their pre interview they both reference how Charlotte was protective of Jonathan which can be hard to do when other people are picking on someone it can be hard to do the right thing and stand by them. After the song, when Simon says Charlotte might hold Jonathan back she is upset but is trying not to show it. Jonathan then shows how honorable he is by flatly saying "we started this as a duo, we'll finish this as a duo" repaying all the moments she stood up for him.

Charlotte is a great singer and she's really entertaining to listen to. This dude Jonathan though...when he sings I get goosebump and I can feel my tears start to well up. I get a visceral, emotional reaction from him. Charlotte is terrific, but I don't think anyone will ever say the same thing about her singing.

I also think that she did good here, alright. But I wouldn't say she's one of the very splendid opera acts, that I've listened to. Plus, it's pretty obvious that they went back to the drawing boards to rein in Jonathan's talent, advancing Charlotte in this business of singing as a duo. She just finished her first album with contemporary and opera combined. I have no idea how the album is doing or if she has a lot of booked engagements. I think however Jonathan will go far with live performances if he can sustain the grueling travel of concerts and he gets the correct promoters and a pretty but talented girl to sing a few duets with for example Charlotte Church or someone along that order around Johnathan's age, and also have some guest stars and sing with them like Sara Brightman, and maybe even Jackie Evanco, however she doesn't have the singing power he has but for entertainment purposes the two could work it out.

I could listen and listen their singing magnificent so beautiful real artists such a talents. They will never loose audience they will singing for the rest of their lives, not like other cheap so called singers just for 1 or 2 seasons with no voice just selling their body, Jonathan is a next Pavarotti.Thank you for the music.

Just watched their BGT audition again, the usual reaction-tears streaming down my face. This is beautiful as Jonathan has his confidence & their stunning voices are outstandingly good.
I find myself going back to the first time I heard them as well🥰🤗. Enjoy watching and listening to them both grow.

Just came from that video also and the thing I like the best was in their pre interview they both reference how Charlotte was protective of Jonathan which can be hard to do when other people are picking on someone it can be hard to do the right thing and stand by them. After the song, when Simon says Charlotte might hold Jonathan back she is upset but is trying not to show it. Jonathan then shows how honorable he is by flatly saying "we started this as a duo, we'll finish this as a duo" repaying all the moments she stood up for him.
They two are absolutely brilliant. I wish they can be equally successful in the future. They make me so proud to be English.

His Nessun Dorma is Stunning! After 2 successful albums and a tour together, Sony offered them each a solo contract. Charlottes album was released first, she then returned to Music Arts School. She now has a successful career in Musical Theatre, which was always her dream, and has performed in Londons West End!

Charlotte is a great singer and she's really entertaining to listen to. This dude Jonathan though...when he sings I get goosebump and I can feel my tears start to well up. I get a visceral, emotional reaction from him. Charlotte is terrific, but I don't think anyone will ever say the same thing about her singing.

well they went solo a while ago but it was a mutual agreement as they both got solo deals with sony

To be fair Charlotte's bloody good, it's just a pity she'll be compared to Jonathan all the time, and be thought of as the lesser in the duo. She's a seriously good singer.

It was a great performance. Charlotte was great and so was Jonathan. Ignore simons criticism. It was only meant to draw attention to Charlotte and Jonathan that’s all.

I also think that she did good here, alright. But I wouldn't say she's one of the very splendid opera acts, that I've listened to. Plus, it's pretty obvious that they went back to the drawing boards to rein in Jonathan's talent, advancing Charlotte in this business of singing as a duo. She was practically inconspicuous at their xfactor audition.
