Dillon brooks is a great player. Only people who truly follow basketball understand this. In his first game he put up 19 points. Most ever for a Canadian born players first game. He was all American all pac 12 first team. He isn’t a bum. That being said, he still should have bitten his tongue when talking bad about lebron. Maybe said he’s older. I would have feared him much more in his younger days.
Regardless anyone who knows anyone in basketball circles would tell you that Dillon brooks is a starter in the league and that’s impressive on all accounts. This year feels like 2020. Nuggets are balling out and Murray and MPJ are healthy. And LeBron and Davis are healthy. I hope we get a Nuggets vs Lakers conference finals like 2020, but KD might be the X factor
What's more exciting is that the final four teams that year (DEN, LAL, BOS, MIA) have a chance for a rematch in the conference finals, I'd root for that
Game 1 against the Nuggets was the first time KD was actually involved in the offense and not just camping the outside lol
If Monty had been having KD run the ball up and start plays off of Book and switch the ball handlers between CP3/KD/Book it would’ve been a dominant sweep against the clippers.
With this adjustment I can see this going 7 games, but the main matchup is going to be between Jokic and Ayton.
If Ayton can’t contain Jokic, then the Nuggets offense is WIDE open, the ball goes through him. I believe in the Nuggets defense to make Book and KD work for it and I believe in their offense to outscore the Suns
