I’m a revert and my eyebrows had been tweezered within an inch of there life, so so thin 😩 🤣. When I reverted to islam and realised u are not allowed to pluck them I decided to grow them out, such a long process 😩 but alhamdulliallah I have my old brows back and I really don’t know what I was thinking by plucking them in the first place. I love them now. Top tip(worked for me) : Use the edges of ur hijab to hide the ends as when growing them out it’s mostly the ends that look so bizarre . May Allah swt bless all who read this Ameen 🙏
I stopped at the exactly same time as you. I just couldn't do it anymore because I was afraid of the curse of Allah swt and our prophet saw. The way was kinda difficult because of my family. Everyone wanted to force me to remove them or saying that I shouldn't take religion so extreme. But I ignored them I don't touch them and yeah I am whiter than a wall but have really big and black eyebrows on a little face. People(mainly muslims) always tell me to at least clean it around and don't understand that I gave it up for Allah swt, so I don't mind that people find me ugly. It was a process to get used how people treat u if you look in a different way. But Alhamdulillah I stick to it even on my wedding day! On that day everyone told me to pluck them but I just responded; " what if I die on that day? Who of you can give me the guarantee that I will have time to repent on something I know that it is haram. And i disobey my Lord because of what people expect for me to be beautiful

Hey! hope youre doing great on your journey. Ive always known they were haram, but i use to kinda do them very lightly in high school coz my brows were soooo thick and bad. But when i grew into my adult face in ramadan 5 years ago i made a vow not to do them again. when i saw them fully grown out on my face they looked fine! i think when were younger it just looks 10x bushy coz our faces are small and we begin to be afraid of how they might look. But its not so bad now. I always fill them in and carve with concelealer and everyone thinks i pluck them but i dont :P
@@moonera6130 well, I made the mistake of following the crowd, and allowed my sister to pluck out a lot of my eye brows...boy that was a big regret of my teenage years...now I have to fill them, it's pretty embarrassing. I had a rough teenage life, struggled with my weight, not fitting in, looking and feeling ugly and with no real friends. I wish I would of found Islam sooner, but everything happens for a reason.
You can do it! If you leave something for Allah’s sake, Allah will give you even better than that which you left. It’s a win-win situation since Allah does not forbid something except that there is a benefit, even if we don’t see it.

Your brows grew back well! I have been growing mine out for about 7 years now and they just aren't growing. I had dark, thick brows before I went crazy with the tweezers in my teens, twenties. I wish I had never started plucking them. Full brows are so beautiful!

I’ll be honest….I struggle with this. I don’t do anything at all to my eyebrows for a year…. and then I have a moment of weakness and I tidy them up the way I want to and then let them grow again for another year. It’s a vicious cycle….. but I’m working on it.

If you want to know how to apply I would suggest you to watch some videos, there are a lot on TH-cam since I wouldn't know how to explain it :') Castor oil is found in the pharmacy

it's been a year i stopped plucking eyebrows. at first you will see you are the ugliest being on earth but after 6 months you will notice it will be alright with your face. i mean it gets adjusted by itself. you won't look harsh and rough after 6 months. i had to wait till 6months. bcz at the first 2/3 months i looked tooo ugly bcz you look rough if you stop plucking. but after few months my face is okay Alhamdulillah okay now.
I find this concept of not allowed to pluck or clean you eyebrows a little difficult to understand. It contradict many other ahadith and believes. A women is suppose to clean her private parts, her underarms and legs ect. She should not look like man with a mustache and beard or thick eyebrows. My understanding of the ahadith regarding the eyebrow, after some research, and is that back in the days many egyptian women and middle eastern women used to shave off all there eyebrow hair and they used to tattoo a very arched eyebrow to give it promiscuous look. I feel that is forbidden. I grew up with very thick facial hair and uni-brow. So I keep it clean by tweezing a little. And I thread my facial hair. Like Allah said in the quran that he doesn't burden any soul more than they can handle" to me and many women who have this issue with hair, would feel burdened with such strict rule.

So many scholars have different opinions about shaving the hair that’s on the legs and most of them said it permissible and okay But for the eyebrows you can’t pluck the hair because your basically changing your appearance but I’m im sure you can read about this topic on any Islamic page I don’t have too much knowledge to answer your question :)
The Prophet (s.a.w) has cursed the woman who plucks her eyebrows for beauty reasons (she can in case of any disease) this is because it changes your appearance and also there is research that plucking the eyebrows or nearby area affects your brain and ultimately memory loss occurs. This ruling doesn't go for legs or other areas as this is considered to be personal hygiene also, hairs that make you resemble the other gender it's obligatory to remove them.(upper lips , arms etc)
You're such a good example mashaAllah. May Allah reward you. My eye brows are quite thick as well, and I pluck very little but I'm trying to stop. One thing I don't like about them is that some hair are sticking out when I look at them from the side. I don't know what to do about it, so I just cut them shorter instead of just plucking them. I'm not sure if that is ok or not. May Allah forgive us and make it easier for everyone.

i've read fatwas on the internet saying the hair between the eyebrows is not part of it so it's permissible to pluck it or shave it.....and i used to do it but now thinking back, i'm not sure abt it. can someone shed some light on that issue?
The prophet cursed those who pluck or take out hair from their eyebrows don't shape them :) you can't remove the hair around the eyebrows you can bleach it tho

If we are lining up and cleaning the eyebrows it is not haram. When a man lines up his beard or moustache does that make it haram? There is absoultely no harm in it, there is no breaking of any of Allah's laws in doing so. It is a simple, normal action so what makes it haram? \in the old days, unmarried women would leave their eyebrows until their wedding night. Also some women due to hormonal issues have extra facial hair - is it haram to remove that also? Do you think any man would like to marry a woman with a moustache or a beard, extra hair around the forehead or chin? Islam is great and when Allah subhana wa taala and his prophet made haram for certain things, it is becuase of their harm to the person, the body or to the society. So what and where is the harm if a women shapes her eyebrows to be more beautiful in front of her husband? There is a hadith that says - God is beatiful and he likes beauty. Also bear in mind that it is sunnah to take care of our bodies and the hygiene. What should be haram is for people to claim that this and that is haram when it is not, that is a crime against Allah. Please be careful where you get your information from......BTW you have beautiful eyebrows mashallah
There is a hadith that says that Allah curses those who file their teeth, get tattoos and pluck their brows. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated through Abdu Allah ibn Mas'oud, may Allah be pleased with him, said: Allah curses the woman who perform tattoos, get tattoos, the woman who pluck the eyebrows of others, and those women who get their eyebrows plucked, and part their teeth for adornment; who change Allah’s creation.

U obey Allah's words so Allah also told us to cover our body properly so our body parts must not be prominent, plus shaping even with brush is it allowed? Was it told? By Allah or Rasuﷺ? Salam sister barak Allah fiki. I just wanted to tell you that treaming your eyebrows are not haram and you could check that with shekhs. Basically I would send you videos but they are in Arabic. However, the idea of the haram was at the prophet Muhammad pease upon him when shaving all the eyebrows was a sign for women who wanted to attract men to her which is basically a known for a hore and sorry to say that . For that reason he said the hadith when he saw that kind of women and yes it is haram to shave all the hair as you would look like them. But if they need to be shaped to look organised then that's not haram sister.
Sisters, it is totally halal and permissible in Islam to take out or pluck the hairs that are NOT part of the brow whether above or under it. You cannot pluck the hairs that are making the brows. Ask any mufti (scholar) of the Shafii Mathhab. As for the body hair, you can remove all of it whenever you like and by any means you like. Yet the Sunnah of the Prophet peace be upon him is that he used to pluck the underam and shave down.
Mashaallah your skin is beautiful and glowy... I actually don't tweeze or pluck my eyebrows. I only line them to define them. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Your brows grew back well! I have been growing mine out for about 7 years now and they just aren't growing. I had dark, thick brows before I went crazy with the tweezers in my teens, twenties. I wish I had never started plucking them. Full brows are so beautiful!

I’ll be honest….I struggle with this. I don’t do anything at all to my eyebrows for a year…. and then I have a moment of weakness and I tidy them up the way I want to and then let them grow again for another year. It’s a vicious cycle….. but I’m working on it.

+Belle Naztassia Salam sister, if you want to get fuller brows and longer lashes use castor oil every night before going to bed and you will notice a big difference. If you want to know how to apply I would suggest you to watch some videos, there are a lot on TH-cam since I wouldn't know how to explain it :') Castor oil is found in the pharmacy

🔸نتف حواجب المرأة لا يجوز ، وهو من النمص الذي لعن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فاعله ،
*فالنامصة* هي التي تفعله بغيرها ،
*والمتنمّصة* هي التي تطلبه من غيرها ، وكذلك إذا فعلته بنفسها ، وهذا حرام ولا يجوز .
🔸 والله له الحكمة فيما يقدره لعباده فمن الناس من يكون جميل الشكل ، ومنهم من هو سوى ذلك ، والأمر كلّه بيد الله عز وجل والواجب على المرء أن يصبر ويحتسب الأجر من الله عز وجل ولا ينتهك محارمه من أجل شهواته .

it's been a year i stopped plucking eyebrows. at first you will see you are the ugliest being on earth but after 6 months you will notice it will be alright with your face. i mean it gets adjusted by itself. you won't look harsh and rough after 6 months. i had to wait till 6months. bcz at the first 2/3 months i looked tooo ugly bcz you look rough if you stop plucking. but after few months my face is okay Alhamdulillah okay now.
I find this concept of not allowed to pluck or clean you eyebrows a little difficult to understand. It contradict many other ahadith and believes. A women is suppose to clean her private parts, her underarms and legs ect. She should not look like man with a mustache and beard or thick eyebrows. My understanding of the ahadith regarding the eyebrow, after some research, and is that back in the days many egyptian women and middle eastern women used to shave off all there eyebrow hair and they used to tattoo a very arched eyebrow to give it promiscuous look. I feel that is forbidden. I grew up with very thick facial hair and uni-brow. So I keep it clean by tweezing a little. And I thread my facial hair. Like Allah said in the quran that he doesn't burden any soul more than they can handle" to me and many women who have this issue with hair, would feel burdened with such strict rule.

But for the eyebrows you can’t pluck the hair because your basically changing your appearance but I’m im sure you can read about this topic on any Islamic page I don’t have too much knowledge to answer your question :)

The Prophet (s.a.w) has cursed the woman who plucks her eyebrows for beauty reasons (she can in case of any disease) this is because it changes your appearance and also there is research that plucking the eyebrows or nearby area affects your brain and ultimately memory loss occurs. This ruling doesn't go for legs or other areas as this is considered to be personal hygiene also, hairs that make you resemble the other gender it's obligatory to remove them.(upper lips , arms etc)

You're such a good example mashaAllah. May Allah reward you. My eye brows are quite thick as well, and I pluck very little but I'm trying to stop. One thing I don't like about them is that some hair are sticking out when I look at them from the side. I don't know what to do about it, so I just cut them shorter instead of just plucking them. I'm not sure if that is ok or not. May Allah forgive us and make it easier for everyone.
This is due to plucking as I mentioned in the video! It will go away eventually after you start consistently brushing your brows down

Haram is haram you can't change it ... It's said plucking eyebrows is haram so you pluck it one or two hairs doesn't matter it's haram
You can bleach them by the way if you’d like to. That’s permissible because you aren’t removing any hair.

i've read fatwas on the internet saying the hair between the eyebrows is not part of it so it's permissible to pluck it or shave it.....and i used to do it but now thinking back, i'm not sure abt it. can someone shed some light on that issue?

The prophet cursed those who pluck or take out hair from their eyebrows don't shape them :) you can't remove the hair around the eyebrows you can bleach it tho

Assalama alaikoum sister, thank you for sharing your thoughts. But I would like to understand why you believe is it haram and where is the reference please? If we are lining up and cleaning the eyebrows it is not haram. When a man lines up his beard or moustache does that make it haram? There is absoultely no harm in it, there is no breaking of any of Allah's laws in doing so. It is a simple, normal action so what makes it haram? \in the old days, unmarried women would leave their eyebrows until their wedding night. Also some women due to hormonal issues have extra facial hair - is it haram to remove that also? Do you think any man would like to marry a woman with a moustache or a beard, extra hair around the forehead or chin? Islam is great and when Allah subhana wa taala and his prophet made haram for certain things, it is becuase of their harm to the person, the body or to the society. So what and where is the harm if a women shapes her eyebrows to be more beautiful in front of her husband? There is a hadith that says - God is beatiful and he likes beauty. Also bear in mind that it is sunnah to take care of our bodies and the hygiene. What should be haram is for people to claim that this and that is haram when it is not, that is a crime against Allah. Please be careful where you get your information from......BTW you have beautiful eyebrows mashallah
There is a hadith that says that Allah curses those who file their teeth, get tattoos and pluck their brows. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated through Abdu Allah ibn Mas'oud, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
Allah curses the woman who perform tattoos, get tattoos, the woman who pluck the eyebrows of others, and those women who get their eyebrows plucked, and part their teeth for adornment; who change Allah’s creation.

Salam sister barak Allah fiki. I just wanted to tell you that treaming your eyebrows are not haram and you could check that with shekhs. Basically I would send you videos but they are in Arabic. However, the idea of the haram was at the prophet Muhammad pease upon him when shaving all the eyebrows was a sign for women who wanted to attract men to her which is basically a known for a hore and sorry to say that . For that reason he said the hadith when he saw that kind of women and yes it is haram to shave all the hair as you would look like them. But if they need to be shaped to look organised then that's not haram sister.

Sisters, it is totally halal and permissible in Islam to take out or pluck the hairs that are NOT part of the brow whether above or under it. You cannot pluck the hairs that are making the brows. Ask any mufti (scholar) of the Shafii Mathhab. As for the body hair, you can remove all of it whenever you like and by any means you like. Yet the Sunnah of the Prophet peace be upon him is that he used to pluck the underam and shave down.
