      Super!
      I'll hopefully get time to film it, but I just finished a mullet build Rail. Sooooo fun!
      Stay tuned on the IG to see it sooner

      @@shredlifewithsam9352 I'd love to see this - there's not much info out there on mullet Rails, but it seems like a good option for an enduro race bike (especially if you can only have one bike).

    Great review, man. I’m hopefully buying a long travel 27.5 this summer. Torn between the Rail and the Nomad. Everything I’ve heard about the Rail has me leaning in Revel’s direction..

      Yeah for sure! Those are two great bikes. Have you been able to ride either one of them? And what bike are you coming off of?

    New a sub , Dude do I get the Rascal or Rail ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔Which one climbs they best ?

      Great question! I wouldn't hesitate saying that the with all things being equal & properly setup, the Rascal would be the better climber. That said, you'll need to both choose the overall best bike for your style, and set it up right.
      What's your riding like?

      SHRED life with Sam trails mostly tbh some bike parks but not often but I enjoy DH I don’t like climbing!! 🤣🤣

      Good stuff! I totally get that style: not too many of us enjoy a climb! 😅
      Are you partial to 27.5 or 29?

    • @pcarts232
      @pcarts232 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      SHRED life with Sam mmmm , that’s a tricky question, I prefer the fun of the 27’5” but I like the way the 29” kinda blasts over stuff , 27’5” bikes seem to get hung up over rowdy trails , , how come the DH riders always use 29” . Like Bruni etc ? Is it cos the bigger the wheel the faster you can go ?

    • @shredlifewithsam9352
      @shredlifewithsam9352  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pcarts232 Great observations. Yes the smaller wheel is easier to throw around, but does get hung up more often & drops deeper into holes. The racers usually like the rollover and speed carrying benefits of a bigger wheel. However, it's your bike, so do what you like. That said, the Rascal offers all the party you could ever want, but you'll feel those bigger hits and the deeper chunk. What are your thoughts on that, and have you considered a bigger/ longer travel 29er?

    Great review. Obviously, the travel specs are greater on the Rail vs. the SB 140. Does it feel like a "bigger" bike than the SB 140?

    • @shredlifewithsam9352
      @shredlifewithsam9352  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks!
      Indeed it is bigger, but it doesn't feel like it at all. Some of this had to do with parts spec, but in short, the Rail does an amazing job of using it's travel efficiently on the climbs, and with alot of support on the descents.
      Have you been able to ride either one?

      @@shredlifewithsam9352 Hi Sam. Missed out on riding the Rail and SB140 at the Sedona fest. Have tried the Rascal, SB 130 and SB165. I liked the feel of the Rascal , but I want a 27.5. Your feedback is very helpful.
