For Marinade:
Boneless Chicken 500 gm
Salt to taste (1/4 tsp)
Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
Plain yogurt 2 tbsp
Lime Juice 1 tsp
Mustard oil 1 tbsp
Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tsp
For gravy:
Diced onion 1 cup
Tomatoes 3-4 medium
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar 2 tsp
Butter 4 tbsp (total)
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tsp
Whole cream/ Whipping cream 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts 50 gm

Kasoori methi(dried fenugreek) makes the whole difference guys, just dont even cook butter chicken if you dont get it, I realized it from my 2 attempts at butter chicken. Also some coriander/cilantro is good.

@@m.k.kitchenfoods355 If you want you can substitute whipped cream with milk - doesn't really make a big difference though. U can thicken the milk in the stove nd use it for ur gravy as shown in the video .

Did you perhaps use regular red chilli powder instead of Kashmir red chilli powder? The Kashmir red chilli is for color.. it's not hot.😊
